You turn and make a run for it. There's no way that you're going to hang around and risk being connected to the window-smashing and... whatever resulted from a vampire falling that far. You suspect it was most likely not a pretty sight, though vampires are durable. At the very least, you're confident that he's dead.
You quickly hurry down a stairway, and come to two different hallways. You hear voices from both ways: One way includes running feet, the other way sounds like panic.
Which way do you go, Fourteen?

You take a swift turn towards the panicking voices. There's no windows around, and besides, you don't know any spells for slowly your fall and getting injured while trying to get away would be an incredibly bad idea. Besides, even if you stop for whatever reason, it's really unlikely whoever's panicking is going to instantly think you're the one who made all that noise and shoved some guy out the window, right? You run... and collide something on the way. You hear a frantic cry of "Ojou-sama!" before you hit the ground, landing on something... rather soft? You blink. There's a maid standing nearby... "G-get o-off of D-Daidouji-ojousama!" she cries, weakly waving a hand at you. It's about now that you realize the soft thing you landed on was a short girl. Oh. "Ow," she says, frowning. Though, really, she seems more displeased at the situation then in pain. Fourteen, this is a bit awkward, what do you do? []Get up and make a run for it. []Get up, help the girl up, and apologize. "Ah... I'm sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going," you apologize, standing up and taking the smaller girl's hand to pull her to her feet. You straighten, rubbing the back of your head. This is... well, this would be very embarrassing. It was still embarrassing even though your mind was in other places. You ran right into this girl, knocked her down, and then landed on top of her! You're pretty sure she's embarrassed to. Or irritated beyond belief. The latter seems more likely given her expression.
The maid nods in approval of your apology. "I-It's a good thing you apologized, or else... I-I would've had to defend o-ojou-sama's honor!"
You're not sure where honor came into it. But honestly, knocking this girl down was your fault, and apologizing to her was the right thing to do. You put on your best smile and try to drum up a winning attitude. They don't seem to think you had anything to do with the sounds from upstairs, at least.
And then, the Daidouji girl folds her arms. Her expression... for some reason it brings the word "Patchyface" to mind. What an odd word. But it seems to be the perfect description for the expression on the girl's face.
"Hat."
... Hat? You head is quite bare. You don't see a hat on her either, what hat?
And then, you notice it. Out of the corner of your eye, you spot a small white top hat. It must be Daidouji's hat, you reason. It must've fallen off when you collided with her. And... as far as you can tell, she's requesting that you retrieve it for her.
Fourteen, it looks safe, but do you really want to risk sticking around?

You're pretty certain that you're safe by this point. You walk over to the hat and pick it up, then turn to face the short girl once more and offer it to her. For a few moments, she seems to simply... stare at the hat in your hands. You begin to feel a bit awkward. This is what she wanted, right? She couldn't have meant something else when she said hat, right?
Thankfully, it seems that 'hat' was interpreted correctly. She takes the hat from you and quickly replaces it on her head, putting it at a slight angle. You lower your arm, and straighten. Well, that's that, then. You turn away from the girl and make to continue on your way, when...
"Why were you running?"
The words in the small girl's voice hit you like a truck. Oh, hell. Maybe you should've run when you had the chance. Well... maybe you can just lie?
Fourteen, your cover as a mage is at risk. How do you handle this?

"Er... well, I heard some crashing, and I kind of panicked and ran," you lie, sheepishly rubbing the back of your head. You're not really a bad liar, as long as it's simple lies. Normally you rely on hiding things and speaking in a way that diverts attention, though. Still, you feel you were convincing. The Daidouji girl eyes you seriously, displaying that frown again. You worry for a few moments. Does she believe you? You feel kind of uncomfortable, it's like she's looking right through you. After a few moments, she finally speaks.
"You ran into me."
Well... yes, yes you did.
"Well, I apologized. I feel bad about it..."
"Apology is not enough," the small girl states, shortly. "Murakami-san, explain to her."
The maid stepped forward. She seems to be attempting confidence, but not finding much success in the endeavor.
"Daidouji Keiko-ojousama requires that a s-service be rendered in order for her to consider f-forgiving you for your error!" she stats. It would be a very confident statement without the stuttering.
Well, this is a curious predicament.

You decide that you might as well get this over with. There's no real point in dragging your feet and being unenthusiastic, is there?
"Alright!" you reply, doing your best to put on a smile. This results in the first expression other than a greatly displeased frown from Daidouji Keiko: Quizzical confusion. It seems like she's surprised that you were so quick to just accept it, as if she hadn't been expecting you'd be so quickly agreeable. The maid, Murakami, seems equally surprised, but quickly attempts to quell it. She folds her arms and does her best to put on a confident smile. However, on her it looks like a nervous smile, like she's expecting you to yell at her any second now.
"W-well, Daidouji-ojousama will explain to you what the s-service you must preform for h-her will be!" declares Murakami, doing her best to seem confident and in-control. In your opinion, it is a completely failed effort. She steps aside, allowing Daidouji to take the center stage. To your surprise, the small girl seems rather put on the spot, as if she didn't expect to have to come up with something so quickly. Really... she's kind of cute. She's almost doll-like.
"You... will suggest a service that you will preform to serve as your punishment," Daidouji begins, "I reserve the right to force you to pick again if it is not harsh enough."
She's making you pick a punishment?
Well, Fourteen, this is odd. What do you do?

You decide to suggest something that you're confident she won't force you to change.
"I... um... Servant for a day?" you say. You're not exactly eager to do something like that given that this is supposed to be your vacation, but... you'll be here for a while and one day won't hurt too badly. Besides, you have a feeling your vacation will be a bit more tense after that vampire attack. Where had he come from, anyway? Well, whatever the case was, you're pretty sure he's not a problem anymore. Your attention focuses on the doll-like girl, who has inclined her head to the side with an expression of contemplation on her face. After a few moments...
"Acceptable."
You relax. This isn't exactly going to be fun, but it's better than... anything worse. You don't know what she would've eventually concocted on her own, but you feel it probably would've been worse.
"O-ojou-sama... d-do you want me to get one of my s-spare outfits?" the maid asks.
You pause. Would... would you really have to wear a maid outfit for this too? But... but...
"That is not necessary," Daidouji Keiko said, simply, "She is not on the level of a maid. She is simply a servant for today."
You're not sure if you should feel relieved or insulted. You settle for a combination of both. Daidouji turns away from you.
"Murakami-san..." she pauses, and turns to face you once again. "What is your name?"
"Sakurazaki Sakura," you answer.
"Very well. Murakami-san, Sakurazaki-san, follow."
The small girl placidly walks on. The maid quickly follows.
Fourteen, what do you do now?

... Hold it.
Not on the level of a maid is an insult! Definitely! You're much better then... whatever it is that's the level under a maid. You're certainly worthy of maidhood! Irritated, you take several steps to catch up to Daidouji and Murakami.
"Not on the level of a maid?! No way! I... I..." you pause. How exactly are you going to prove that you are on the level of a maid? Only one method occurs to you, and, well... it seems like it might just be a bit embarrassing. You take a deep breath. You've been insulted, ensuring that you are indeed worthy of maidness seems like a good idea. You reflect on the fact that some of your decisions today have been slightly odd as Daidouji and Murakami turn towards you. Daidouji raises on eyebrow.
"I... I'll show you that's wrong! Give me a maid outfit and I'll show you I'm a good maid!" you declare, trying to sound as confident as possible. Really, this is rather weird...
"..."
Daidouji stares.
"... Fine. I was planning on returning to my room anyway," Daidouji says after a few moments. "Murakami-san will provide you with an outfit."
With that, she turns away and continues onward.
You suspected the girl was rich. However...
You didn't even know the hotel had rooms this big. It looked like a small house built into the hotel, really. Four rooms, two of them bedrooms, and a bathroom. It had comfortable-looking furniture, as well.
Really, this is pretty incredible.
Daidouji walks towards one of the bedrooms, while Murakami beckons for you to follow her before disappearing into the other.
You remain for a moment as both vanish from view.
Fourteen... should you really listen?
