So, yeah. Fantasy Kitchen Sink (and sci-fi but... no overt alien relationships, we're sticking to one earthlike planet + afterlives and interstellar stuff would just make it more confusing), so almost anything goes. Thinks that don't are things that would, by necessity, darken the setting: mind control, mind-reading (either due to angst or invasion of privacy), rape, etc. I reserve the right to judge when something IS too dark, though.

  • Personality: Something of a relentless tease, Yasu really enjoys seeing who he can make fall for him and then seeing how they react to 'I have a sword in my pants' (both literal and figurative). Certainly wouldn't be displeased by someone who becomes more enthusiastic, or only shows any interest when he says that. Would definitely be on top, though.
    Aside from being generally confident and playful, he has a massive sweet tooth, ignores anyone who starts commenting on the crossdressing, and loves playing video games when he's not practising with his sword (the literal one) and being grumpy that no-one seems to reciprocate.
    
  • Abilities: Master of iaijutsu. Keeps the sword in a transdimensional pocket in his underwear for the lulz. Quite capable of generating razor wind when he draws it and bisecting a demon's head. Might explain why he has so little fear when it comes to pissing off yakuza. Excellent pickpocket, try not to leave your valuables too obvious.
    
  • History: Raised as the heir to the family business (a combination of opportunistic demon slaying, bodyguard work, and petty theft) whilst his twin sister worked on more straightforward kendo, they at some point started swapping clothes. Yasu's quite small, and she's rather tall, so it actually works out quite well.

  • Appearance: "Huh?"
    
  • Personality: Laid back, fine with all the attention girls seem to give her, and something of a delinquent, though she doesn't go around picking fights. She shares her brother's sweet tooth and love of games but tends to augment with reading manga when classes get too boring--generally yaoi, yuri, or really over the top things that go on for volumes and volumes. Dislikes it when someone decides to try and pick a fight with Yasu in her view, and will go and punch them in the face for 'threatening my little brother'.
    
  • Abilities: Really, really, really good at traditional kendo, though she rarely has a sword on her, so she just sticks with punching stuff in the face ridiculously hard. Unsurprisingly, shares her brother's pickpocketing skills due to long experience of having to stop him and working out what he's doing. Also learned how to run up walls at some point...
    
  • History: Pretty much the same as her brother, though she wasn't directly taught anything and has had a lot less pressure put on her. It might explain why she's so much more relaxed and tends to screw around in school. She still gets the better grades, though.

  • Appearance: She's considerably taller than the average Japanese girl, and her hair is roughly knee length. She happens to look like whatever she's wearing at the time, being completely invisible since about the age of five, having grown gradually more transparent since then.
    
  • Personality: Rin is quiet, demure... and is also perfectly fine with stripping and then sneaking into places she shouldn't be, like rooms which are staff only and getting into cinemas for free. She's surprisingly perverse if you get her to talk, and takes advantage of the impossibility of telling where she's looking to ogle anyone that she finds attractive. Loves sports, though, but is regrettably banned from anything that risks physical contact because she has an unfair advantage.
    
  • Abilities: Is invisible. At all times. To the extent that even effects that should pierce or end invisibility (though not paint, that works) cannot make her visible. Also an excellent swimmer.
    
  • History: Rin was totally normal when she was born... but got more and more transparent until, one day, she was just invisible. Her parents have finally gotten used to it, especially after stuff that was supposed to let them see her stopped working. They're a little upset about her taking advantage of it... but given that she's also saddled with the 'being invisible' thing...

• Age: 25. Except the whole "cursed to never age beyond 10" thing.

• Appearance: "Clover is surprisingly comfortable!"
  
• Personality: Aiko's levels of energy are astounding. She's usually on the move, and she's very difficult to tire out. She's also almost excessively cheerful, rarely losing her enthusiasm or happiness regardless of the situation. In some aspects, she's as immature as she looks, often pouting when things don't go her way and even throwing temper tantrums of a sort if she becomes extremely irritated. She often takes advantage of having not grown physically since age ten, using her appearance to get movie tickets for a lower prices and other underhanded tricks of that nature. On the other hand, she desires to compensate for her appearance when teaching by acting as mature and calm as possible. Aiko is also shy of the sun, and doesn't like going outside in the daytime, considering that her pale skin easily burns. She also has a passion for Elegant Gothic Lolita clothing. Aiko is also immensely perverse, but she's tried to tone it down a great deal now that she's a teacher.
  
• Abilities: Super sunburning skills. Also, Aiko is an accomplished esper, capable of manipulating objects with her mind. These objects cannot exceed her height or weight, however.
  
• History: Aiko's life hasn't been particularly eventful. Born to a normal Japanese family, she grew up being slightly sheltered to avoid severe sunburns but was otherwise treated normally. She passed from elementary to middle school level slightly roughly, since all aspects of her physical growth seemed to have stopped, but she hasn't really minded that fact. Now a High School Science Teacher, her life is mostly normal aside from avoidance of the sun and frequently being asked "What's an elementary student doing here?" by new students.
  

• Name: Kobayashi Masuko
  
• Age: 17
  
• Gender: Female
  
• Appearance: "That kinda hurt, you know."
  
• Personality: Most people would describe Masuko as "ill-tempered". And this isn't entirely untrue. She tends towards being grumpy and short-tempered in the face of things she finds annoying, or things she finds very stupid. This often go hand-in-hand. This grumpiness is a result of the fact that Masuko believes night is a time to sneak out of the house and have all kinds of fun in town, instead of a time for sleep. She's very fond of her motorcycle, which she has nicknamed "Burūmu-tan". Secretly, behind her gruffness, Masuko likes print pyjamas and stuffed toys, along with knitting and various cute things, be they animals or adorable children.
  
• Abilities: Masuko's robotic arm can turn into a spike, or a laser cannon. She's also somewhat skilled in hand-to-hand combat, but not exceptionally so. She can also ride a motocycle.
  
• History: Masuko lost her right arm in a car accident when she was eight. However, her aunt, a genius engineer and scientist, immediately stepped in to provide a replacement. Her aunt crafted a finely-made robotic arm for her niece... and due to her being both a creator of experimental weapons and somewhat loopy, added a metal spike and a laser cannon to the mix. However, the arm functioned perfectly, and with yearly modifications to match Masuko's growth since then, it has continued to function perfectly with an added level of self-defense to this day.

• Appearance: "This ribcage needs a laser cannon."(also she's about 4'11)
  
• Personality: Hotaru is actually quite good-natured most of the time... it's just that she has a massive obsession with science and experimentation. Now, she doesn't preform unwilling experimentation or anything of the sort. She's determined to be humane and decent with her experiments. She's an absolute genius when it comes to technology, and adores constructing all kinds of devices. This is especially apparent when she gives someone a prosthetic limb. It functions perfectly, and is absolutely indistinguishable from a real limb from the outside... and can also turn into a laser cannon. Hotaru is also extremely excitable and has a boundless amount of energy. On top of all this... it would be very easy to describe her as "loopy". She often says outright bizarre things, or rambles about scientific concepts in completely unrelated situations. In addition, she is a huge fan of mecha anime and manga.
  
• Abilities: Hotaru is in all respects a normal human being. With an arsenal of sci-fi weaponry hidden in the lab attached to the back of her house for no apparent reason other than the fact that it was fun to build. Her items include a shrink ray, a massive laser cannon, and a half-finished mecha she refers to as "Combazinger Lagettelion." She can use very few of these with any real skill(and the mecha isn't complete enough to pilot).
  
• History: Hotaru was born under fairly normal circumstances, and from a start exhibited a fascination with science, especially technology. She strove to practice and learn as much about technology as she could, and proved to be incredibly adept at inventing and experimenting. By sixteen, she was able to invent a perfect mechanical replacement for her eight-year-old niece's lost right arm(along with a metal spike and a laser cannon). She has only invented more since then.

Name: Pandora

Age: 108. Looks a hundred years younger.

Gender: Female

Appearance: "Why yes, my tail is super awesomely mega fluffy! Jealous?"

Personality: A young kitsune with a great destiny, or so she claims. Apparently, she believes that one day, she will be a peerless goddess, so people might as well bend to her whims now. Pandora would probably be much more annoying if she didn't constantly forget to remind people of her status, however, instead acting more like an easily impressed and curious child. Still has a high opinion of herself, though.

Abilities:
Shape-shift: From her human form to her fox form. Very small either way.
Illusions: Well, she can hide her fox features nearly effortlessly, but that's about it. She can barely mask the presence of a small object for any decent length of time.
Physically, she's as strong as a human adult.

History: Not too much to say. She was a fox that lived a hundred years, became a kitsune. Decided to join a human school to study her future subjects in more detail.
