Name: Ika Musume Age: About 12 or 13 physically, unknown otherwise Sex: Female Appearance: "Time to invade the multiverse degeso!"Chosen Power/Tech: The semi-inexplicable powers of a squid girl. Ika Musume can spit ink(which apparently tastes distrubingly good) and use her tentacle hair to manipulate or destroy her surroundings. She is extraordinarily skilled with her tentacles, capable of everything from rapid typing to serving food to fighting. She can adjust her weight with her bracelets, allowing her to float, or even fly. She is also capable of regenerating her tentacles if they are cut off. Her 'hat' is actually part of her body, and it it is removed she will die. She is also capable of glowing in the dark. Without her tentacles, however, she is weak and clumsy. Faction: Unknown World of Origin: The World of Shinryaku! Ika Musume Personality: Ika Musume believes it is her right to conquer the surface world in the name of all squid kind. However, she is rather terrible at this. While sometimes she is willing to frighten or hurt people in the name of this cause, she is surprisingly soft and capable of being easily frightened or guilted by seeing the consequences of her actions. Ika often acts as if she wishes to seriously hurt people in the name of her invasion, then shies away from actually doing it. She is a terrible planner and rarely thinks anything even remotely through, and has a strong obsession with shrimp. She is incredibly naive and completely unaware of how human beings actually function beyond what she can tell by looking at them. She is usually cheerful and friendly, and has a paralyzing fear of orca and sharks. Ika has a surprisingly strong drive to help people, in spite of her invasive and cocky attitude. Bio: An anthropomorphized squid who became determined to conquer the surface world... and got stuck working off her debt after smashing a diner's wall. Somehow she's gotten dragged into multiversal events, and currently wants conquer it. She is failing at this endeavor. Badly. Or Name: Miyako Yoshika Age: Looks to be in her late teens, 17-18. Actual age? Who knows? Sex: Female Appearance: "Haaaaaaiiiii."Chosen Power/Tech: Yoshika is capable of flight, and spell cards and danmaku. She is capable of self-repair and regeneration as long as her body is still mostly intact, as well. However, her chief power is her ability to, quite literally, eat anything. Even concepts. Faction: Unknown World of Origin: The World of Touhou Project Personality: Yoshika is... weird. It might be because, as she claims, her brain is slightly rotted, but given how the rest of her body is perfectly fine this might not be the case. She often recites poetry in a rambling fashion in the middle of a fight, and is incredibly easily distracted and led on. She is very happy and friendly, to an almost relentless extent, and will happily ramble about utter nonsense in the presence of anyone remotely willing to talk with her. This isn't to say that she can't be coherent, or even have occasional strokes of brilliance. Just don't expect her to be consistently brilliant. At the very least she's reliable if she's prevented from wandering off. Bio: A jiang-shi in the service of the hermit Kaku Sega, Yoshika got dragged into multiversal conflict somehow.

If you don't use Zombutt Moerin will be sad, Anno. Do you want that on your conscience? Do you, really?

Right, two votes Yoshika... does anyone else want to vote? At the moment, looking like Yoshika will win.

Both would give me five characters, Tachi. That's a little much.

I'd say five's a good limit, personally. But if you think it's too much, Ika.

Well, there hasn't been an actual S2 sign-up thread, so at most this is a brainstorming thread, where wild concepts can be thrown in the ring and can be swatted out with great force.
It's only when the signups happen that we need to get it together...
Though I'm not making any "character limit" rules and instead say "You can have as many provided you have signups for them, and you can handle them all"

... The suggestion of playing both is getting more and more attractive, but that would be five characters... Hum.

I really don't see a problem with having five characters. I mean, you're definitely good enough to keep up with that many.

Hmm... I'll think about going for five a little bit more. Since both Ika and Yoshika are really fun.

ANOTHER RANDOM BIO Name: Clarice Age: 21 Sex: Female Appearance: Jiiiiiiii~Chosen Power/Tech: A mage-slash-archer, who can materialise this bow at will. About the only thing she can can fire at the moment are normal or poisoned arrows, though the nightmarish draw weight of the bow means that they're quite capable of punching through steel plate. She's not the best at the aiming thing, though, since it takes years upon years to get both good aim and rate of fire. Her other abilities are enough strength to crush a human skull with her hand (her tail is even worse) and a poisoned bite. Wild animals, except for birds, tend to be extremely friendly towards her. Birds? They're dinner. Faction: World of Origin: World of Random Lamia Girl Personality: Sneaky and underhand but with no ill intent whatsoever, Clarice tends to creep up behind people and just watch them. And watch them. And watch them. When they eventually notice her, she's rather embarrassed and clueless about what to say, stuttering and having trouble getting a single sentence out. She's rather fond of children and is liable to try and hug any that she finds (rather than eating them), regardless of their wishes on the matter or the logic in this. She's not very educated and can't read, as well as taking quite a long time to do even basic arithmetic, though she can still do it. Likes animals. Bio: Hatched from an egg and left to raise herself, Clarice just sort of ambled around aimlessly for most of her childhood, the archery thing being a natural ability she was fortunate enough to have. People, as opposed to animals, occasionally wandered through and she tended to follow them as much as she was able to, occasionally finding random stuff (like her ribbon) that she wanted to keep.

My last two characters. Needless to say, not taking any more after this since that's five characters total for season two. Still, i'm sure they'll all be very fun to play.

- Name: Gnomey
- Age: Unknown
- Sex: Male
- Appearance: I hope sprites work, 'cuz Gnomey has apparently evaded all artwork. Ignore the duck.
- Chosen Power/Tech: Gnomey wields Rainbow Magic, which takes the form of a grappling hook capable of latching onto most surfaces, including smooth ones. He also has the Gravity Flip Belt, which he can switch on, in order to force the space he is in to believe that gravity is pushing him upwards. Using the two abilities and his extremely small size in combination, Gnomey can quickly and easily travel through and explore almost any location, making him a master in the art of running and hiding. He also grants +2 Rainbows and Friendship to those around him!
- Faction: The Faction of FRIEEEEEEEEENDSHIIIIIIIIIIP!!!!!(Oh, there isn't one? In that case, Gnomey has no faction.)
- World of Origin: World of Super Quickhook
- Personality: An overly friendly guy, Gnomey just wants to be friends with everyone. Sadly, his strange appearance, tendency to point and scream at people, as well as his hobby of vandalism, all tend to cause people to dislike him. This makes Gnomey sad. He also has a great love for hats.
- Bio: Created from pure Rainbow Magic, Gnomey has devoted his life to friendship and exploration(as well as a movie series following his adventures). One day, he decided to flip his Gravity Flip Belt on long enough to see what was beyond the clouds, and discovered the multiverse. Ever since, he has traveled the multiverse, spreading friendship and petty vandalism. And buying hats.

I just had a good idea for a world... "The painting used to represent the world shined once again and changed images. Now the image was split into three pictures. One was a group of many people exploring a crystal city. The second were two groups of people, one group were red with wizard hats and casting spells, while the other group were blue, and either in giant robots and holding big guns. The two were apparently fighting over some treasure, which was in the center. The last image was a giant robot sitting on a throne while thousands of people held a large flag, marching forth like they were an army... Just then, the Brotherhood were taken from their ship, and placed in a single white room. They then heard someone speak. ' Ah, new toys for my game...' the person said." Although this is pretty spur of the moment, so I might not include it.

Only if it's immediately burned to the ground and then shot from orbit with magical laser cannons.
And then shot into a black hole.
And then the guy who was talking to them in orange is stabbed repeatedly and has his corpse burned.

And then the guy who was talking to them in orange is stabbed repeatedly and has his corpse burned. ;D But yeah, it's probably not going to happen because that will open a whole can of worms and I don't want the mythos of both stories to be mixed up. In other news, I have an idea for a new villain faction that I'm not sure where to fit...

If there were any sign of them showing up, I'd find an excuse to have Dlanor having killed them all during the timeskip.
As for villains, um... you already mentioned having a lot, so maybe we should stick with the ones we have already.

Yeah, you're probably right. Might save these guys for a Mini-RPG based off S2... Sort of like The Movie of S2.

•Name: Detective Paul Fletcher •Age: 29 •Sex: Male •Appearance: YEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHH!!! •Faction: Brotherhood •Chosen Power/Tech: The Sentient weapon Gouryugun, a technomagical weapon from another world stolen by Dai-Shocker raiders from the hoard of the Castle that never was. Designed to combat demonic threats and anything in between, it takes the form of an incredibly powerful and heavy handheld blaster gun that can punch holes through brick walls with terrifying ease and accuracy. The weapon can also grant it's user a very high degree of protection from both magical and physical harm by cladding him with a suit of white and red armor, transforming the user into Madan Gunman Ryugunou as well as boosting strength and eyesight by a significant margin, which is activated by inserting a Madan key into the bottom of the Gouryugun's grip. Aside from the deadly blasts of energy and the suit of armor, Gouryugun can also fire off blasts of freezing energy, fire, paralyzing electricity and a rapid-fire volley of shots by using the Ice key, Fire key, Lightning Key and Shot key respectively. But the device's deadliest asset is the Final key, which fires a charged blast of searing, explosive energy called the "Dragon Cannon" that can level a small house (Or Kaijin) without much difficulty. •World of Origin: A former Dai-Shocker thrall world. (Actually, only the city that he called home got taken over in that world) •Personality: A by-the-book cop if there ever was one, Paul is professional, diligent and a stickler for the rules. It makes him a bit of a stiff due to his fixation of following protocol and general aloofness when socially interacting with allies, he is however extremely dependable and can generally be counted on to finish whatever is requested of him no matter how mundane. Though a model cop, he is however stained with a single, massive flaw: That of his rather excessive aggression and hatred against those who oppress the innocent and the weak. While such foul characters drive him into a righteous, unrelenting fury, he has just enough control over himself to avoid causing collateral damage. His rage is for a reason, as he once lived under the iron boot of a band Dai-Shocker troops who treated their subjects like a sadistic child would treat ants. •Bio: Paul was a cadet in a police academy in his world,The usual "I wanna be a cop to serve my community" story. That is until a band of remnant Dai-Shocker troops who had escaped the ultimate defeat of their Kaiser literally waltzed in and took over his city with little effort despite the desperate resistance of Paul and the city's police department. After the hostile takeover, the invaders immediately went to work turning the city into a twisted paradise for them and a living hell for it's citizens. Forcing the enslaved citizenry into back-breaking labor to build statues in "honor" of their leaders' "victory" is just one of the many atrocities and injustices the invaders carried out. Having been forced into hiding, the surviving members of the police, Paul included mounted a desperate raid into the invaders' base of operations to steal their weapons and hopefully use them against their owners. Though everyone in the raid but Paul was killed or captured, it was a success of sorts as he managed to nab the Gouryugun, having heard it call for him; Heeding it's instructions, Paul used the Gouryugun to transform into Madan Gunman Ryugunou, and used his new power to fight his way through the defenders and escape. After waging a one-man war against the invaders that lasted several months, he finally managed to free his city from the Dai-Shocker remnants; having killed them all. A little over a year later, another ship (The Ha'Tak) warps above his city and Paul automatically assumes the worst...

Though if Nomads home in on this turf, they ARE getting told to screw off and getting that enforced >_>

I can't say anything about most of the Hades Party characters for obvious reasons but Tachi's definitely going to have a "no collateral damage" policy.
Totally unrelated to the fact that his weapons have no potential for serious collateral damage.
