All right, let's break this down a bit.
I now feel that my constant need for positive reinforcement has become a disruptive influence and is ultimately to the detriment of the board in general.
However, I do not believe that there is any totally beneficial solution to this problem. Suffice to say this is not a good thing.

I wouldn't go as far as say it's detrimental to the boards. There are other things that are more detrimental than that. I do say, however, that there is a solution to this. We just need to fix it.
