I guess I've had worse ideas...I'm still not sure how well they'd work though. Mainly because the Aqua idea was originally going to basically be Rachel, but looking like a teenager. And the Double idea needs to be fleshed out to more than just " these two as Double" before I even think about using it . |

In other, not responding to things from several days ago news, I've started working on my ridiculous backlog!...Unfortunately, I don't think I can use anything from the show I'm watching for a character's powerset...since...well...
EDIT: Okay...I get not letting SaGoZo run, I understand why something as bulky as Magnet States might have trouble running but...Heat Metal? Really?

So...I just finished watching The Big O (well, I finished it last night, but yeah) and it was awesome and everyone should watch it because Batman with a giant robot and a robot maid. >.> <.<
Also, I have no idea what to watch next...Looking at the tower of DVDs, I've got Strike Witches 2, the Haruhi movie, Kurokami, The World God Only Knows, Chobits, Rozen Maiden, Cardcaptor Sakura (which I'm kinda procrastinating on because everything else is so much shorter and I don't think I've got the "using this for a character's powerset" motivation anymore) and Clannad. So...yeah, any suggestions?

Ahem...so, yeah, haven't made any way on my backlog...which has gotten bigger...and will continue getting bigger now that I actually have money. >.<
Also, worked on that RP idea I mentioned while I was supposed to be learning about how socio-economic status impacts a child's school experience...In my defence, I took more notes during that lecture than I have in any others...it's just that they were pretty much all related to expanding the magic system idea that wasn't just "copy/paste from [insertlistofRPsthatNRhasbeenhere]". Still need to figure out if it's going to be medieval or modern though.
Basically, in the setting, humans don't have any innate magical powers. But by making contracts with magical beings, they gain powers (someone making a contract with a phoenix would get fire and/or healing powers, for example, but it doesn't have to be elemental stuff and can be things like super strength, depending on what the contract's with). Multiple contracts are possible, but the more contracts a person makes, the higher the risk of injury, death, insanity or possession (which is also part of why most people don't make contracts). A bunch of stuff can increase the strength of the powers a person gets, like how compatible they are (nice-guy pacifist + ...heal-y thing = strong, nice-guy pacifist + Satan = surprisingly weak), how long the contract's been there, how much they use the powers. And then I had ideas like people being able to summon them or temporarily combine with them for a power boost.
Also have ideas for plot and stuff, just wanted to see what people thought of that idea and whether anyone had any preference in regards to the modern/medieval bit before I write up a signup thread.
...Oh hey, I managed to talk about an idea I had without calling it stupid, that's got to be a first.
