It's a Touhou thread (though I really need to look up the story for Ten Desires before starting) and if anyone tries to drag in the stupidly grimdark stuff Akyuu wrote as canon I will murder them. >.>

Anyway...

One day, lasers covered a large reason behind youkai mountain... repeatedly. In odd, flashing patterns. It made no sense, really, and drew a lot of people looking, and getting into fights. That's the whole instigator of this: huge, stupidly long flashing lasers in the background.

Off-limits characters: the Moriya shrine crew, any kappa, Eiki, and Yukari (former because they're INVOLVED, the second two because they'd spoil things. =P). Permitted: OC's. Expected: Shujiko, Reimu, Marisa.

Name: Kirisame Marisa
Age: 16

Species: Human
Ability: Capable of flight and danmaku use, spellcards listed here.
Appearance: "Time to kick some ass!"
Personality: Kirisame Marisa is a frequent liar and kleptomaniac. She'll steal anything that looks interesting or useful, provided it's not nailed down, and she'll even steal abilities from people she's met. She's also nearly always cheerful, always interested in a fight, friendly or otherwise, and an incredibly hard worker. To master the magic she has, she needed to train for a very long time. It's likely that most of her life was spent doing so. Marisa is also very proud of being the "Second best in Gensokyo" to Reimu, as well as being a good thief. Likes to tease a certain blond yokai magician.

[/li][li]Personality: Brash and brimming with childish overconfidence. Something of a tomboy. She takes it rather personally when someone berates, offends or underestimates the significance of insects.[/li][/ul]

[Roxas]

Name: Shujiko Ishi

Age: 163, looks about sixteen

Gender: Female

Species: Youkai

Ability:
'Indomitable Will', the ability to carry out tasks with sheer will alone.

Spellcards:

Lax Sign ~ Unmotivated Motions - Easy Mode spellcard. Very simple side stepping is recommended.

Will Sign ~ Arcobaleno Storm - Her strongest card, Shujiko summons seven orbs coloured after the rainbow. Each orb fires a different pattern for a few seconds, then rotates to another orb.

Appearance: Has a fairly petite frame, with brown hair that just stops above her shoulders, and hazel eyes. She's constantly trying new designs, but her constant themes seem to be a blue/green colour scheme, and shorts under her skirt. When invoking her ability, both her hair and eyes become golden.

Personality: Hot-blooded and always eager to battle someone who can stand up to her near-limitless energy, Shujiko is a fairly happy youkai, quite the contrast from her previous depression. She's also somewhat ditzy sometimes, and has a fairly active imagination, but always means well and hates those that bully far weaker people.

• Ability: She reads minds. All minds. If you're near her, she can read it, and she can even drag hypnosis into it if she wants to dig about. As a result, Satori often answers people before they've spoken. These four cards are hypnotising, so she tends to use them first, not that she needs them to do that trick. She has two more of her own. She's not entirely powerless, really.
  
• Appearance: "I know what you're thinking.
  
• Personality: Rather annoyed by all the horror she's met with due to her ability, and both sarcastic and inclined to teasing people, which doesn't help. Seeing as the above world doesn't know her so well, she's taken to visiting occasionally.

Name: Reimu Hakurei

Age: Somewhere in her late teens, as usual.

Gender: Female

Species: Human

Ability:
Flight - To the point she can float away from reality.

Appearance: Shrine maidens are cute

Personality: Reimu's... quite lazy, never training despite her vast potential. She isn't the most sociable person ever, and treats everyone equally - with some irritance. Occasionally tries a get-quick-rich scheme that inevitably fails quickly.
