Mary, Horatio, and Blight soon walked through the doors, wearing the elaborate costumes that made Brotherhood technology famous amongst Multiversal costume salesmen.
Mary was dressed as a female Skull Kid, complete with a replica of Majora's Mask(minus the Eldritch Abomination and powers, of course!) and a simple ocarina. Horatio was dressed as Kahless, with child sized Klingon armor and lifelike forehead ridges. Blight, meanwhile, was simply in her demon form, wearing a Freddy Krueger claw on her left hand to add a little more "scary" to it.

"Come on, August, I told you to not eat too much candy." Alicia said, walking up to the bowl of candy. At this point, she noticed there was someone else submerged in the giant bowl of candy, and Toph's head emerged from the candy bowl, her mouth completely covered in chocolate and a bunch of chocolate bars in her hand.
"This is great! This is fantastic! Why don't we have this! I want more! Hey Blabberbrother! I'm going to eat ten of those! Twenty! Fifteen! FIFTY!" She said, submerging herself in candy once more.

John sighed and fished August out of the bowl.
"I think you've had enough for one night, kiddo. You can have some more tomorrow."

Tachi couldn't help but laugh at the, from her perspective, slightly blurry scene. After all, it wasn't every day that one saw children playing in a giant bowl of candy.

A hole suddenly appeared in a corner of the room accompanied by a sound like a chorus of vaccuum cleaners singing Bohemian Rhapsody and then future!August and his family were standing where it had opened.
"Wow, can't believe we actually made it! That detour through the Traverse World of horror movies was a way longer one than I thought it'd be." August said as he brushed off what was decorative holiday food colouring and definitely-not-at-all blood.
Meanwhile, Tangelo had immediately dived into the bowl of candy, not just to get at the sweets but also to hug Toph. Child!August on the other hand, was squirming in John's arms and muttering something about chocolate elephants. Dollstop sat in a corner on a swivel chair, dressed in a labcoat and undershirt covered in stitches with a giant screw through his head. He was chewing on a candy cigarette and watching the whole party with an odd half-smile.

Alicia stared at future!August with wide eyes, dropping her bar of chocolate. "What the?" She said, pointing at child!August. "But he's there." And then at future!August. "And then there! Older! How does--"
Toph's head emerged from the bowl of candy, panting. "Getting inside bowl of candy, bad idea." She then noticed Tangelo hugging her, raising an eyebrow. "Do I know you?"

The wall split open in a flash of purple light - then a familiar, red-coated figure stepped out, looking around as the rift closed behind him.
Knight raised an eyebrow.
...Why was he here?
