Hello, this is an interest check/sign up for Journey Through The Multiverse. This is based off an RPG called HJU: Together We'll Be Stronger. The concept for the story is that we play self inserts who gain powers from different works. And then going to the worlds of those different works ala Kingdom Hearts. Except that already happened. Welcome to the semi-reboot to the Journey Through the Multiverse is. The question is: what would happen if the current cast of players got a chance to re-do things? The PlotIn many worlds, there is a form of power that people use. Throughout these worlds, they have been given different names: Chakra, Mana, Magic, Energy, etc. In other worlds, they are more technically advanced and provide tools and weapons that can turn the tide of battle. Rarely would these two things exist in the same world. Though there are some worlds that lack the powerful energy or the technological advancements. Our world is one of those worlds. We live in the world, unaware of the existence of the other worlds, though we still read their stories through books, movies, shows, and games, and discuss them through forums. This will follow the adventures of some of these people, as the illusion will fade and world will soon be wrapped in a multiversal war... For there are two factions, both gathering tech and powers for their own purposes. One faction, Dai-Shocker, gathers mechas and high-tech weapons from other worlds in hopes to rule the multiverse with an iron fist. The other, The Red Pirates, explore the deep meaning of "The Power" and try to unlock its true potential. Eventually, the pirates have found a way to give "The Power" to worlds that lack it, by giving people a shred of its energy from another world via a crystallized shard of a person's spiritual energy, and thus giving them powers from that world where the person came from. However, the two saw each other as a threat and began to fight each other. A massive war ensued, costing thousands of lives. The final battle took place over Earth, where of the factions' space ships exchanged devastating blows that destroyed them, and caused the the tech and power shards to fall onto Earth, into the hands of unsuspecting people. And as the two groups begin to look for their spilled goods, the question will be what will be of the Earth? The Sheet- Name:

- Name: Chida Nick
- Age: 18
- Sex: Male
- Appearance: "If I don't reach out my hand when I can, the regret will make me wish I were dead."
- Powers: Nick has been implanted with the Shard of the Phoenix Phantom, which allows him to communicate with the Phantom himself, who goes by the human host's name of Yugo. Along with that, Nick can manipulate (or even create) a powerful kind of fire called Hellfire as well as wield a broadsword called The Catastrophe. Yugo can heal Nick and even bring him back from the dead using his own powers, provided that he has enough Mana to pull it off.
- Faction: The Brotherhood
- World of Origin: World of Lilim
- Personality: Nick is not really one for much conversation. Not because he is shy or meek, but rather he seems... emotionless. Though this takes a massive swing when it comes to characters that he once perceived as fictional. He will be drawn out of his shell upon meeting them and will talk to them like they were real people. However, he also has a sense of protection. A sort of Samaritan Syndrome for these kinds of people. The kind where he would go through any lengths to save those who are doomed to die (provided they are of Nominal Importance... For example, he'll save the life of a Main character more than he would in saving the life of a nameless mook), even sacrificing himself to save them. This determination also turns him into a Nick unseen by most people. A Nick driven to save people, even if it means having to kill one person... or even a thousand.
- Bio: When Nick was fifteen, his parents moved to a new city, causing him to move schools as well. When he was introduced to his school, several bullies ganged up on him and beat him up as a perverted way of "initiation". He was sent to the medic's office, where he met a beautiful girl who was also there. The two met and became the best of friends, often meeting in the medic's office because that's where the girl goes every so often. Then one day, the girl fainted. Several medics came to her and took her to the hospital. There, several people told Nick that the girl was sick with a disease that had just become terminal, with her expected death to be in a few weeks. Nick spent his days being with her to the very end, though once she died, part of Nick also died. There was less joy in him. It wasn't until he hit up eleventh grade English class that he became a little more... social. But that was only because they were busy talking about stories rather than focusing on reality. His parents, after hearing of this, slowly began to denounce him as a functioning member of society, thinking that he will eventually turn into an escapist, or one who doesn't like real life and would rather be in his own little world. They even thought of having him be committed. To an asylum? Maybe. Whatever the case, by the time he was eighteen, Nick noticed his parents have grown distant from him, just as he grew distant from them.
- Name: Nicholas Santos
- Age: 20
- Sex: Male
- Appearance: "Alright! LET'S GO LET'S GO LET'S GOOOOOOOOO!"
- Powers: Nicholas has a pair of blades called the Zero Sluggers that can act as boomerangs on their own, combine into a Double Weapon known as the Zero Twin Sword, or combine with the Color Timer to fire off a powerful blast known only as the Twin Zero Shoot. When it crashed into earth, it came combined with the Color Timer, Nicholas' form of "artificial heart", when it starts to blink red, it means Nicholas is running low on energy and must rest, otherwise, he will die.
- Faction: Dai-Shocker
- World of Origin: World of Lilim
- Personality: Nicholas is very excitable and very hot-blooded. He often shows a cocky and arrogant side, especially when using his Zero Sluggers. He will also come to crack as many jokes as he can. When it comes to fictional characters, however, he loses it and becomes like a squeeing fangirl. What was once cocky and arrogant now becomes "OMG! I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT [So and so] IS HERE! SQUEEEEEEEEEEE! SIGN ME UP! SIGN ME UP!" ... Okay, maybe not THAT overenthusiastic.
- Bio: Nicholas had way too much free time on his hands, always plugged into the internet ever since he was at an early age. He was raised on so much Power Rangers and other Saturday morning cartoons, that he became a very excitable kid. It didn't help that he was also raised on a lot of video games. When he was introduced to the internet, the first thing he discovered was access to even more fun games, even if some of them weren't... kid-friendly. He was also introduced to fan fiction. While he came across several boring stories about how Yugi falls in love with his inner Yugi, or that Tommy and Kim rekindled their love for each other, it was the crossovers that got him excited. He never imagined Mario beating the shit out of Sonic before, or the idea of the Power Rangers meeting up with the Z Fighters. It introduced him to many fandoms and many different shows, to the point where he became a very cultured man when it came to what the kids these days liked. Not so much with his schooling though. He got just enough passing grades to graduate, but his struggles with school work made him decide that going to Starbucks and working there was a better alternative. There, he mingles with several people and soon, discovered TVTropes and registered there as Psyga315, interacting with the people there as well.

- Name: Anno
- Age: 19
- Sex: Female
- Appearance: With brown hair, blue eyes, and, um.. pretty pale... usually reds and blues for clothes colors so yeah, eh-heh.
- Power/Tech: A regular shard, from the Gensokyo fairy Sunny Milk. This gives Anno the ability to refract light. At the start, this means unconvincing illusions and small lasers. Anno will also be able to grow wings and fly. Rather poorly.
- Faction: As of yet, none.
- World of Origin: World of Lilim
- Personality: Shy and somewhat reclusive, Anno spends most of her time reading or on the computer. She is a fan of action and slice of life works, as well as comedies. She is also a fan of yuri. She likes cute things a great deal and is very, very much against seeing children hurt for any reason. Anno is a massive fan of the Nasuverse, Touhou, and a lot of other things.
- Bio: Anno's life is mostly uninteresting. She's just a normal anime and manga fan, really.
- Name: Vita
- Age: 8, physically. Actually 22.
- Sex: Female
- Appearance: Badass Adorable
- Power/Tech: Vita is capable of flight and various magic spells utilizing the Ancient Belkan magic system. Most of these spells are used in conjunction with Graf Eisen, Vita's armed device. In addition, Vita has extremely powerful regenerative capabilities and endurance. Being impaled serves to do nothing more then anger her, for example. She will lack cartridges for the earlier portions of the RP, meaning she will need to stick to smaller forms of Eisen.
- Faction: TSAB, though they won't exactly be present in the RP beyond Vita, most likely.
- World of Origin: World of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha
- Personality: Vita's personality can be described as "fiery". She's quick to anger, and very volatile when angry. However, she can also be friendly, if she actually likes the person she's interacting with. Eternally a child, she dislikes being called a kid and will get upset if she's called one. In spite of her desire not to be treated as a child, she is quite childish.
- Bio: Start here and stop at ViVid is you want her history.
- Name: Ryougi Shiki
- Age: Late teens, most likely eighteen.
- Sex: Female
- Appearance: "I can kill anything that exists - even if it's god."
- Power/Tech: When Shiki "looks", she sees lines and points on nearly everything. The lines, when cut with a sharp object, are undeniably severed and impossible to heal unless time itself is reversed or the target is reconstructed completely on a conceptual level. When a point is pierced, the target's existence is instantly annihilated and they will undeniably die, though not necessarily instantly. Shiki must make physical contact with the points and lines with a sharp object in order to destroy them. In addition, sometimes a target will have no lines, or their lines and point will be "confusing", and she must decipher them before she is able to cut them. This can take some time. Her ability, known as the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception, extends to nonliving objects, such as telephones, or even magic or diseases. If something has a "dead" state, Shiki is capable of bringing it to that state(with one VERY SPECIFIC exception). However, she must cut an entire line in order to fully sever it and ensure no healing is possible, and a point must be pierced. Magic from universes other then the Nasuverse will be confusing to Shiki, and require to be deciphered before she is able to "kill" it. In addition, for the earlier portions of the RP, Shiki will suffer from a headache that makes it too difficult to focus on more complicated lines and points. While this will not impede her ability to fight mooks, she will not be able to destroy more complex objects(more complex in regards to lines and points, not physical complexity). She will also not be able to decipher objects that require it until her headache clears up. Deciphering takes time, sometimes requiring multiple experiences. Her physical capabilities are that of a very skilled, very fast, but ordinary human being. Aside from her magical prosthetic left arm, which is capable of grabbing spirits. If she gains a katana, Shiki mentally reinforces herself, becoming both super fast and incredibly durable.
- Faction: None yet.
- World of Origin: The Nasuverse
- Personality: Ryougi Shiki is blunt, businesslike, and aloof. In addition, she is extremely determined, ruthless, and aggressive in her mannerisms, and especially when fighting. However, deep down, Shiki has felt empty since she awakened from her coma. However, this has lessened since time has passed. In spite of having suppressed homicidal urges, Shiki will not kill human beings unless she believes they have "dehumanized" themselves, usually by willing inhuman actions not caused by insanity. Shiki will viciously attack and kill her enemies without a second thought, but if she believes them to be "human", she will only incapacitate them by partially cutting lines in areas that will not cause death.
- Bio: Without spoiling anything, Ryougi Shiki gained the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception, participated in solving several mysteries, and recently ceased in these actions. Though she is still a capable fighter and fully willing to fight. Suffering from a headache, she is currently left rather irritable.

- Power/Tech: Normal shard from Katara of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Allows her to use Waterbending.
- Faction: Neutral for now.
- World of Origin: World of Liliim
- Personality: Quiet, and a bit awkward. She can be very friendly once she comes out of her shell, though. Sam also tends to question things that don't make sense, or are just downright crazy.
- Bio:An aspiring artist, Sam spends a lot of time drawing, be it real objects, or fictional characters. The rest of the time, she is busy checking out fan sites about her favorite shows and games.

Post by Tachi on Dec 9, 2012 0:45:04 GMT -5
- Name: Tachi
- Age: 22
- Sex: Male
- Appearance: Here.
- Power/Tech: Tachi has an elementalist's shard, allowing him access to magic associated with fire and earth. Initially, this will mean fireballs and thrown rocks (either large stones or smaller, sharper shards). As time goes on, he will gain access to a number of other abilities (basically just the fire and earth magic ones and the utility skills that sound like they're fire or earth based. I'll probably work out how to split the unrelated utility skills later).
- Faction: Dai-Shocker
- World of Origin: World of Lilim
- Personality: Tachi tends to remain quiet most of the time. However this side of his personality quickly falls away when he's enjoying himself, revealing a surprisingly hammy side that really doesn't seem like the same person.
- Bio: There's nothing much to say, really. The closest thing to something noteworthy is the lack of anything noteworthy in his life, not even a single broken bone.
- Name: Rachel
- Age: 22
- Sex: Female
- Appearance: "Want one?"
- Power/Tech: Rachel also ended up with an elementalist's shard. However, rather than fire and earth, she can utilise magic aligned to air and water. Initially, this means magical water blasts that can damage enemies and heal allies, lightning fired from her hands (or used as a whip), shards of ice and a blade of water that functions more or less as a sharpened boomerang. Like Tachi, as time goes on, she'll get access to more spells.
- Faction: As of yet, none.
- World of Origin: World of Lilim
- Personality: Rachel is friendly enough most of the time, if a bit snarky. Given the opportunity, she may unleash a veritable hurricane of puns, shocking anyone in the area that's used to her snarkier side. She is a fan of manga and anime, mostly slice of life and mecha series, although she also enjoys a large number of other genres. She generally spends most of her time either in front of a computer screen or cooking.
- Bio: Basically as uneventful as the above.

Post by Falkon on Dec 9, 2012 0:55:18 GMT -5
- Name: Mary Gertrude
- Age: 13
- Sex: Female
- Appearance: This.
- Power/Tech: Majora's Mask. Progressively grants the wearer the ability to fly, curse others(e.g. Alter species, increase or decrease age, lock a soul in limbo after death, etc), Possess non-sentient things, and take on the various forms of Majora. The mask will slowly drive it's wearer insane, until the mind is weak enough for Majora to fully take over. Any powers related to the moon will have increased effectiveness against it and it's wearer.
- Faction: None. Mary doesn't trust other people.
- World of Origin: Lilim
- Personality: Mary is a cheating, untrusting, and untrustworthy trickster. Under the influence of Majora, she is still all those things, and also a practical joker, sowing chaos as much as she possibly can.
- Bio: Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Mary was left at the hospital after birth, and was adopted by a couple in their fifties, who never had children. She was raised well, until, at the age of 7, her adoptive parents were both killed while crossing the street. She then went off on her own, and developed a weary personality and a cruel sense of humor along the way.

And everyone is accepted up until here. Except for Tachi, cause his sheets need some more work, according to him. - Name: Kios Nonnad
- Age: 28
- Sex: Male
- Appearance: Wouldn't you know, he actually looks presentable.
- Power/Tech: The shard of Envy. The transformation isn't limited to shapeshifting, regenerative abilities and enhanced strength, though, she has also completely turned into a homunculus, which includes the downsides (requiring red stones to "replenish" her) and the upsides (no need for sleep, eating, that kind of thing).
- Faction: No faction as of yet.
- World of Origin: World of Lilim
- Personality: Kios has been taught by the finest teachers in his country on how to become a therapist... and he has taught himself how to use this knowledge for his own means. He's handy, but he's no general when it comes to battles. He has a mind designed for storing all kinds of information, and he likes to use them on the right time at the right place, preying on the people that don't deserve what they've got (according to him). Cold, calculating, and all that, sometimes going on and on about why a person sucks without showing a twinge of emotion. However, Kios genuinely believes he is doing the right thing, and it shows when he obtains an ally for his cause, sometimes entering random states of childlike excitement that contrast his normal, rational self.
- Bio: Kios was raised by a couple of rich parents that gave him anything he wanted. He was sent to the best schools and was always considered a genius by his teachers. However, he knew that all he was doing was following the same "boy genius" formula as everyone else in the world. Kios wanted to make a difference, and he found a way to make said difference in one teacher, who taught him all about different views of the world. For Kios, it was like something suddenly clicked in his mind. He could see all that was wrong, and all that was right. He saw a world filled with individuals and not communities, and he decided the way to punch the world in the gut was by becoming a conman. He started to prey on the rich and their petty little problems, but as he robbed them of their money, he believed that he was teaching them a lesson.
- Name: Rita McKay
- Age: 18
- Sex: Female
- Appearance: This, without the ears, shorter hair and blue eyes.
- Power/Tech: The shard of Corvo Attano, allowing her to tap into a few powers given to him by the Outsider. She first obtains the Blink (allows teleportation of a short distance, remaining hidden in the process) and Dark Vision (shows enemies and their fields of vision through walls, although they have to be close), but as time progresses and she obtains more runes, she'll be able to use other abilities. Due to her lack of knowledge on "how to be an assassin", like Corvo, these abilities are mostly used for stealth and exploration.
- Faction: No faction as of yet.
- World of Origin: World of Lilim
- Personality: Due to Rita's past, she is an amalgamation of certain facts. Fact: she enjoys having friends, and the ones she does have, although little, are always number one on her priorities, and are always the ones she listens to when times are dire. This doesn't mean, however, that it's easy to become her friend: in fact, it's quite hard, because she's very selective. Fact: she wants to be seen as someone to look up to, a great leader. She has an "I've seen everything" demeanor about everything and will often try to be the "smart adult" in a situation, never afraid to point out someone mistakes. She has troubles dealing with her own mistakes. She simply doesn't know how to deal with them, often needing help from others to overcome obstacles she created.
- Bio: Rita was born with a sense of leadership. From the beginning, she wanted to lead people, to shout orders at them, to see them flourish under her command. One could say she was a very prideful person, constantly drawing pictures of people cheering a new statue of her. During her younger years, this behavior was seem as cute and cuddly, since Rita herself was cheery and easily-excited. Her parents decided to take all those dreams and to mold it in something good, and so they signed her to be the leader of a group of girl scouts. But Rita, so sure of herself, didn't prepare for a certain situation: an accident with a campfire. At first, it seems like no big deal, but Rita didn't know what to do. She had no idea what to do, and the girls around her, all people who looked up to her, were getting scared. The fire was slowly getting out of control, and Rita wanted to keep her position. And so, she did the first thing that came to a mind, all with a "I've got this" smile. Her solution didn't work out. Instead, the fire only got stronger, destroying a small part of the forest they were in, some of the tents, and even gave some of the girls a few burns. But for Rita, it gave her a scar, a permanent note stapled to her head. Not being able to cope with the fact that she had just failed and wounded people that looked up to her, Rita and her parents moved onto a new city, and a new objective for the young girl: to take what she learned and use it to become the best leader in the damn world. Whether that will work out or not, time will only tell.
- Name: Alicia Noelle
- Age: 19
- Sex: Female
- Appearance: Shown here in an unusual disguise for an unusual mission. She doesn't wear glasses, and she doesn't even understand how a cellphone exactly works. She also usually wears more rustic outifts designed for more agile movement, and a mask (similar to the Blue Spirit's) to hide her identity.
- Power/Tech: Firebending. She also possesses dual broadswords.
- Faction: Dai-Shocker
- World of Origin: World of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
- Personality: She's very attentive, and this can manifest in a myriad of ways: either in paying attention to a scene to see if one single detail has been missing, or in listening to the thoughts of her fellow Dai Shocker members. Not only she's attentive, but she won't hold back her criticism, not giving a damn if she's talking to a General or a low mook of her faction. And most importantly, she's feisty, a characteristic she got from her mother, and she'll show it at any point: be it in her enemy's prison hold or during her free time.
- Bio: Alicia was born in the final years of the war, in a small town near the capital of the Fire Nation. When she was fifteen, she began to display prowess as a fighter, incorporating firebending techniques in her martial arts trainment, which led to her being recruited by the Fire Nation army once she was seventeen. The pride of her family, she was on her way to the top, until the war finally ended. For some, it was a cause of celebration, but for Alicia, it was a cause of despair. The ideas she had believed in and followed with such passion for her entire life had been destroyed in the blink of an eye. Instead of adopting some kind of grudge against those responsible, Alicia went into a semi-existential journey, during which she traveled around her world, learning more about the other cultures and, of course, training. But her new found ideals and the somewhat militaristic thoughts installed on her at an early age led her to believe that joining Dai-Shocker was the only way of obtaining balance in the Multiverse, pledging her alliance to the cause of the Dai-Shockers.

Post by Rain on Dec 9, 2012 5:38:48 GMT -5
- Name: Rain
- Age: 18
- Sex: Female
- Appearance:
- Power/Tech:
- The Hourai Elixir (not a shard). On the first taste, you cannot age. On the second, you can never become ill. And on the third? Perfect immortality. The elixir has the direct opposite effect to Ryougi's eyes, it actively erases the concept of death from your being and stops it. The elixir does nothing for pains or durability, though, so the benefit Rain would get from it is dubious.
- Phoenix King Saffron's Powers (actually a shard). Weaker than they normally are due to lack of the Kinjakan (it's a staff) and wings, it amounts to low-level fire stuff and accelerated healing when on fire. No word on if they'd benefit from the Gekkajan (the other staff).
- Faction: Nothing
- World of Origin: World of Lilim
- Personality: Rain is easily agitated and excitable, which tends to mean that she's the most panicky person in a group. Except when she's randomly not, which is almost certainly due to skewed priorities. She has an odd tendency to get lost in thought and then come up with a complete non sequitur (or seem to do that), so it's probably safe to call her a cloudcuckoolander.
- Bio: Born. Grew up. Reached adulthood. Probably the only person in this entire damn thread both legally able to drink and not completely averse to the idea.

Wee! Last one! - Name: Tumek
- Age: 30
- Sex: Male
- Appearance: This
- Power/Tech: Bird-of-Prey, upgraded with Ablative Armor to protect it from energy weapons, a Multiversal Drive to allow travel into different universes, and beds comfortable enough that humans won't complain so much.
- Faction: Dai-Shocker
- World of Origin: 24th Century Star Trek
- Personality: Tumek is your poster-boy Klingon. He is loud, proud, and likes nothing more than a fair fight(or an unfair fight, if he's the "weaker" opponent) and a barrel of blood wine. He's also got quite a taste for cuisine, and is working on a cook book detailing the greatest foods in the multiverse(starting with the five greatest varieties of Gagh). He's also a weapon enthusiast, and hopes to one day master the multiverse's rarest of weapons.
- Bio: Tumek was born in 2353 on Qo'noS, where he was raised much like any other Klingon boy. He went through the first Rite of Ascension when he was nine, and completed the second rite when he was fifteen. A few years later, he joined the Klingin Defense Forces, and served well, but not vert notably. Then the Dominion War began, and Tumek's ship was sent to the frontline. Tumek and his crew mates fought hard, but eventually, they met their match. Losing consciousness, Tumek collapsed, and when he awoke, he was alone in a ship filled with the bodies of his dead comrades, stranded with no other ships or recognizable systems nearby. Several days later, Tumek was found and saved by Dai-Shocker, and in gratitude, he joined their ranks, swore loyalty to Tsukasa, and has served the Multiversal empire for ten years.

Jonathan and Tumek is accepted.
Rain on the other hand... I'm on the fence about this. On one hand, I'm sort of okay with the elixir, but on the other hand...
Hm...
Okay, why not? Rain's accepted so long as the tastes happen between a... mediumish length. At least enough length not to make it so that immortality is achieved within a minute of obtaining the elixir... Though I don't really know my Touhou, so I don't know how the three tastes work or if it's even possible to get immortality in three gulps...
TL;DR, all three are accepted.

Post by Flanker on Dec 9, 2012 14:03:40 GMT -5
Well, here's my two sign-ups. I feel kind of nervous about the first one due to 1) the fact I consider the series his powers come from to be a guilty pleasure and 2) the physical changes made to the character as a result of his shard. Name: Flanker Age: 18 Sex: Male Appearance: Flanker wears a blue hoodie and somewhat baggy jeans. Underneath his hoodie he wears a black shirt. He wears a pair of trainers with blue accents. He stands 5'9'' tall, and has brown, wild hair. His eyes are hazel and he has fair skin. His most curious features - at least once he has used his shard - are a pair of floppy dog ears and a tail, both of which are the same colour as his hair. They seem to react to his emotional state. Power: Flanker's shard is taken from Eclair Martinozzi (Dog Days). This allows him to make use of energy both in the air and inside his body to achieve various effects, such as energy beams "fired" from his twin daggers. However, since his magic specifically uses energy from Flognarde (the world the powers come from), AKA "Flogna Power", Flanker is forced to rely on internal magic stores (which limits the power of his abilities). Similarly, in less/non-magical worlds (for example, if he ended up in the Halo universe) his powers' effectiveness will be dampened further. His lack of experience also acts to limit his capabilities. He is also physically weaker than most people his age and his endurance is lower than it should be; this is unfortunate considering Emblem Arts (special techniques that use the aforementioned Flogna Power) are rather draining. As a result, he can only access Level 1 (the weakest level of Emblem Arts) and, if he pushes himself, Level 2 Emblem Arts (the maximum is Level 3). Emblem Arts are also not very subtle - a glowing emblem appears on the back of the user's hand (Level 1), or alternately it appears in a much larger form behind the user (Level 2/3). Therefore, if stealth or subterfuge are required, Flanker would effectively be forced to do without his powers. However, he can move fairly quickly, and his twin daggers allow him to deal a flurry of blows. Due to the fact that regular humans from our world cannot make use of Flogna Power (or, presumably, not very well at all) without the use of a magical weapon (which are generally given to Heroes alone), the shard was forced to modify his body to allow him to accept Flogna Power, much to Flanker's dismay. Faction: The Brotherhood World of Origin: The World of Lilim Personality: Withdrawn around strangers, Flanker usually adopts a gentle, deliberate approach to life's problems unless he is especially angered or there are extenuating circumstances. He also has a tendency to underestimate his skills and he has a low tolerance for pain. However, he feels very strongly about what he believes in, and there are certain things he would never compromise on (such as avoiding hurting innocents). If someone manages to befriend him, he can prove to be a very firm friend. Bio: Growing up in Scotland, Flanker was always rather shy and bookish, preferring intellectual subjects to sport. Unfortunately, combined with his hands' loose ligaments this made him slightly frail, especially in terms of his upper body. He maintained a small inner circle of close friends, finding it difficult to make new ones. However, things seemed to be going well - he was going to the local college to study electrical engineering - when fate struck... Name: Emile-A239 Age: 29 Sex: Male Appearance: "I'm ready, how 'bout you?!" (Outwith his armour)Power/Tech: Being a SPARTAN-III, Emile's physical capabilities exceed those of ordinary human beings. His MJOLNIR Mark V powered armour improves them further, and it boasts an energy shield that helps provide extra protection. His main weapons are a shotgun, a grenade launcher, and his signature kukri knife, which he uses to stab his opponents in close quarters. His shield suffers extra damage from energy/plasma attacks, and must shut down to recharge if it suffers enough damage. An EMP can take out the shields in one hit. Despite his superhuman enhancements, he is not invulnerable, and will succumb to injuries if he is not careful. As well, his shotgun is limited in range and the grenade launcher can be rather difficult to use. Faction: The UNSC, though since they (probably) won't appear, he can effectively be counted as a member of the Brotherhood (or rather, whatever the faction that will become the Brotherhood will be) World of Origin: The World of Halo Personality: Respected by his peers, Emile was described as being detail-oriented and unbreakable, an effective member of his unit while in the field and one that maintained strict discipline off the field. He was, however, noted to have had the most difficulty interacting with non-SPARTANs than any other member of Noble Team (a special forces unit that consisted of SPARTANs). Emile was particularly bold and aggressive. Emile-A239 had a tendency to make excessive use of force. He treated civilians with suspicion and disregard, which led to confrontations between him and the more empathetic Jorge, who was another SPARTAN. Despite his hard outlook, he held a deep respect for his teammates, as well as readiness and loyalty to sacrifice himself in order to allow the Pillar of Autumn to escape. Emile handled the loss of teammates by masking his emotions with humor. He possessed an "impressive" collection of Covenant contraband. While in direct violation of Subsection Seven of the Cole Protocol, his superiors ignored this, due to them being part of the Army rather than the Navy. Bio: Emile was born in Luxor on Eridanus II in 2523, where he most likely lived until 2530 when the planet was glassed by the Covenant. Orphaned, he was conscripted as a part of SPARTAN-III Alpha Company. However, he was pulled out of the unit by Kurt-051 and Franklin Mendez before Operation: PROMETHEUS in 2537, which resulted in the deaths of most members of Alpha Company. Later, he became a member of Noble Team, with whom he fought during the Battle of Fumirole in April 2552 and during the Fall of Reach in the summer of the same year. Slowly, Noble Team was worn down until only he and Noble Six remained. Manning an Onager (a human artillery piece) to stem the tide of Covenant (a group of aliens that displayed xenocidal zeal against humanity) ships, he was unexpectedly attacked by Covenant forces. He struck down one of the aliens, only to be impaled by the energy sword of another alien. Still stuck on the sword, Emile wheeled around and stabbed them, killing them as well. However, for our purposes we will assume that he either somehow survived the impalement or disappeared prior to that point.

- Name: Saxen
- Age: 20
- Sex: Male
- Appearance: "So bored... wish there were evil monsters born from darkness to fight."
- Power/Tech: A shard from Roxas, giving him the initial ability to wield Keyblades, with an affinity to the 'Light' element. Though that won't really mean much at the beginning.
- Faction: Currently unaligned.
- World of Origin: Lilim
- Personality: Quiet around people he doesn't know, and slowly gains the confidence to act and more like the joker of a group, Saxen's rather easy to get along with. Though he's not at all confident in anything about himself, instead just encouraging others if he feels they need it. As much as he likes to think of himself as a calm individual, it's actually quite easy to upset or anger him.
- Bio: A rather unremarkable person. Video game and anime/manga fanatic.
- Name: Noel Vermillion
- Age: ...18 I suppose?
- Sex: Female
- Appearance: The Lacking Lady!
- Power/Tech: Wields the Nox Nyctores 'Arcus Diabolus Bolverk', a pair of handgun-like weapons that can also form into a gatling gun and missile launcher. She's also rather agile and acrobatic, and capable of using Bolverk in a melee fight.
- Faction: Novus Orbis Librarium, officially. They won't be present unless the plot suddenly focuses on it for some random reason.
- World of Origin: BlazBlue
- Personality: Shy, clumsy, and tends to get worked up over the smallest things. Noel is extremely self-conscious, especially regarding her breast size. She can be socially awkward at times, but despite of this, she can be quite passionate and determined when motivated, and is loyal to her friends and allies.
- Bio: A lieutenant of the NOL. Bolverk suppresses her emotions when in battle, preventing her from having a freak-out. She's also the only one able to wield Bolverk.

OK, I guess I need to do this... - Name:Jonathan Rose
- Age:20
- Sex:Male (At First)
- Appearance: Short and slight, to the point of possibly even looking like a girl from behind. Short, scruffy brown hair and sad looking brown eyes.
- Power/Tech: : Yellow SP License, which contains a dormant power shard contains Jasmine’s ESP Abilities. As in the original JTTM, this shard’s activation triggers a genderswap, which happens when the License’s “Change” tab is activated for the first time.
- Faction: Whatever the good guys are this time.
- World of Origin: Lillim
- Personality: In a word: Shy and introverted, at least until you can break the shell; if you can manage to do that, then you're dealing with an individual who's probably slightly too hyperactive for their own good or anyone else's. Has a reasonably strong sense of justice too.
- Bio: Jon's reclusive and introverted nature can be traced back to being abused by members of his peer group at school. As a result, he's picked up a certain distrust of people who honestly want to befriend or just help him, in case they turn around and backstab him as well. As a result he turned to the Internet for an escape once he finished school, although getting out of the house and off to college helped immensely in making him a bit more of an open and level human being. As for the rest... well, that's what we're here to find out, isn't it?

Post by Mahou Moerin on Dec 9, 2012 18:24:42 GMT -5
- Name: Moerin
- Age: 25
- Sex: Female
- Appearance: Whee.
- Chosen Power/Tech: Lagann and the ability to utilise Spiral Power.
- Faction: Whatever replaces the Brotherhood, I guess.
- World of Origin: The World of Lilim
- Personality: Hammy, silly and something of a perv. Refuses to act her age most of the time, but when she does it's usually a bad sign. She has a strong sense of justice, and is quick to jump to the defence of anyone she feels has been wronged, but other than that she's kinda lazy. She's also kind of a nerd, and enjoys cooking.
- Bio: There's nothing much to say, really. Just a boring, ordinary life leading to a boring, ordinary existence. She's currently directionless and lost without any real purpose in life, but that doesn't stop her from trying to find one.
- Name: Kim
- Age: 18
- Sex: Female
- Appearance: The one with the glasses.
- Chosen Power/Tech: Telepathic communication, but only with other Lunarian rabbits. She also serves as the science officer for the Nadesico, despite her knowledge on the subject being somewhat... Lacking. Kim is an accomplished artist, but the only thing she ever draws is yaoi.
- Faction: Our Brotherhood replacement.
- World of Origin: The World of Touhou, or more specifically, the moon.
- Personality: Somewhat shy and reserved, and very quiet. She's supposedly the most intelligent of the three bridge bunnies, although as she is so reluctant to speak the only real indication of this is her position as science officer of the Nadesico. Her apparent intelligence is somewhat countered by her insistence on using the gravity blast cannon to solve any concievable problem, the fact that she's secretly a very hardcore yaoi fangirl, and the fact that she answers any scientific question with a barrage of impenetrable technobabble in the hope of driving people away because as it turned out, she flunked science.
- Bio: A Lunarian rabbit who enlisted in the moon's army due to not having much direction in life. Due to some botched paperwork, she was assigned as a scientific specialist in the same unit as Shammy and Vanessa, the other two bridge bunnies of the Nadesico.
- Name: Apollyon, the Angel of Destruction!
- Age: ? Physically 14.
- Sex: Female, but due to her armour everyone will assume she is male.
- Appearance: Minus the gun. Underneath all that armour, Apollyon looks like... This, surprisingly.
- Chosen Power/Tech: Apollyon wears a suit of power armour that, whilst not containing any built-in weaponry, increases their physical capabilities to the lower tiers of superhuman ability, as well as raising her height to about 8 foot and providing a voice changer that gives her a deep, booming, masculine voice. Apollyon also happens to possess the innate ability to produce an AT-Field, although it is far weaker than one that one of the kaiju-sized Angels would produce.
- Faction: Dai-Shocker
- World of Origin: The World of Neon Genesis Evangelion
- Personality: Boisterous, over the top and quite frankly utterly deranged. Apollyon is prone to long winded and circuitious speeches about her power and how all shall be destroyed; in fact, the very concept of destruction seems to be an endless source of fascination for her. The vast personality differences between Apollyon and the original Rei can be explained easily by the fact that Apollyon is completely and utterly insane.
- Bio: The armour-clad being known as Apollyon claims to be nothing less than an avatar of destruction, but in actually... She's one of many clones of the genetically engineered half-Angel, Rei Ayanami. Somehow she survived the purge of her "sisters", and somehow she went completely off the deep end.

Post by Tachi on Dec 9, 2012 21:34:05 GMT -5
So, I'd like to make a couple of changes to my characters' powers. Um, basically, giving Tachi access to air and water magic. Which he won't use because they're far less interesting to him than the other two. So...really, saying he's got them is just for show unless something completely unexpected happens. Secondly...I want to completely overhaul Rachel's powers: - Power/Tech: Rachel has acquired an Engineer's toolbelt. The tool belt features a number of compartments, each enchanted to allow them to hold items that really shouldn't fit, such as turrets, spring loaded battering rams and weapons. However most of these compartments are empty to begin with, only holding some basic tools, a pair of flintlock pistols, a bottle of a strange red liquid and a shard, which will grant her an impressive level of technological and alchemical knowledge.
Strangely, despite what one might expect, the pistols are almost incapable of firing normal shots. Instead, they seem capable of changing ammunition based on what Rachel wants at the time and don't need reloading. Firing off bolts of electricity, a volley of poisoned darts, bursts of fire that can be adjusted for use as a blowtorch and large puddles of glue to slow targets down. The closest thing they have to normal bullets are small explosive rounds.
I feel I should clarify this, because I'm sure people have had problematic encounters with "an impressive level of technological knowledge" in RPs before, she's not going to be able to pull whatever I happen to want at any moment in time out of nowhere.

All characters up until here are accepted. Also your power change is accepted, Tachi.
Except for only one thing: some characters have already taken positions in the Nadesico's crew. How is that going to work? I mean, especially considering Flanker chose the position of commander and he's getting a shard, and Kim's the bridge bunny of the ship. How is the ship going to be obtained, anyway? Can we remove those things until we work this part out?
Also, it kinda sucks to have someone go "dibs on commander", when in the original the whole process was more... natural. Well, not that natural, but it did happen in the RP, not during the sign-up process.

I actually agree with this. At least hold until we actually get the Nadesico before you take up the roles. And especially since Nadesico will probably be discovered like how the Ha'tak was discovered. Not to mention that the new group has to well... develop in the RPG instead of predetermined... then again, here I am having one character dead set to join the good guys.
We may also need to work out how the characters from outside the World of Lilim would enter, since the first arc is centered on that. Though I think I can have one of the Monitors or Deities troll them and send them to Lilim.

- Name: Shammy
- Age: 18
- Sex: Female
- Appearance: The one with blue hair.
- Power/Tech: Telepathic communication with other Lunar Rabbits. Some technological skill, especially with technology relating to communications.
- Faction: Same as her fellow moonbunny bridgebunnies
- World of Origin: World of Touhou, specifically the Moon
- Personality: Shammy is incredibly enthusiastic and cheerful to a fault, putting every ounce of herself into her job as a communications officer. She is very outgoing and friendly, and often quite talkative. However, Shammy is also a massive, massive pervert. She will pursue any girls she finds cute, often attempting to impress them with her job in the Lunar Military. She will also frequently attempt skinship with these girls, sometimes claiming she has the ability to boost powers with skin-to-skin contact. In fact, it could be said that her enthusiasm extends to her perversion, as well. Shammy stores a vast amount of... "sensitive material" on the ship's computers.
- Bio: A Lunarian rabbit who enlisted in the moon's army due to believing it would impress girls. Due to a remarkable amount of skill in technology, specifically communications, she was assigned as a communications officer in the same unit as Kim and Vanessa, the other two bridge bunnies of the Nadesico.

I know it looks like a lot of powers, but at least one is effectively 'has a permanent contact with the bridge bunnies', so they're not all that useful. XD - Name: Reisen Udongein Inaba
- Age: Going by her appearance and having left the moon in 1969, Reisen can't be younger than at least 60. Due to being a moon rabbit, she's probably centuries old at the least.
- Sex: Female
- Appearance: "Master..."
- Power/Tech:
- Powers:
- Flight & Danmaku: Standard Touhou package, though danmaku is pretty much useless for more serious engagements. Sure, it stings, but it doesn't really keep people down (unless your name is Fujiwara no Mokou) so why bother? Good for fireworks, though.
- Finger Bullets: Slightly different from the above, by making her fingers into a handgun shape, Reisen can fire more powerful magical bullets. Yes, seriously. Substantially lower rate of fire, but much more dangerous.
- Brain Wave Manipulation: Do not look Reisen in the eyes if you're fighting her. Do that, and she will casually screw with your perceptions, make herself appear invisible, and generally drive you mad. If she has the true moon for reference, she could do that directly, but without it... well, she can fix it, so there's that. Her theme is Lunatic Red Eyes for a reason.
- Moon Rabbit Telepathy: Telepathic communication from at least 240,000 miles away with other moon rabbits. It's the distance from the Earth to the Moon and how she managed to get a reference for the True Moon from Japan.
- Skills:
- Housework: Amazingly, loli bunny rabbits, a lazy princess, and a prankster are terrible at housework. Eirin is a genius scientist, so it falls to Reisen to do the manual labour.
- Firearm Knowledge: Due to being in the Lunar Defence Corps and then deserting, Reisen can use normal firearms. Why would you want to be lumbered with them when your fingers make an acceptable alternative, though?
- Medical Knowledge: She's lived with the person that created a medicine that stops you from ever dying in any way for forty years, so... yeah.
- Faction: None,
- World of Origin: World of Touhou
- Personality: Reisen is the ultimate straight man, matched only by a ruler. Her masters are a cloudcuckoolander moon princess (she once got caught by bamboo and a genius who occasionally tests drugs out on the rabbits, she's surrounded by excitable children, and Tewi likes to pull practical jokes. Yet she still faces things seriously, no matter how outrageous stuff gets. Naturally, she's the butt of all the jokes.
She seems to have something against risking her life, though, given that she unceremoniously deserted the Lunar Defence Corps.
- Bio: Reisen was born on the moon and, after some indeterminate length of time, ended up in what was effectively the army. In 1969. When Apollo 11 arrived. Not eager to get in a battle with humanity, she left for the Earth, and stumbled upon some exiles: Kaguya, a former(? They wanted her back...) princess of the moon, and Eirin, who helped to found its capital. So she moved in with them.
She failed at shutting all the doors in Eientei, which lead to the Earth's being taken out of the jar Eirin put it in, though.

Alright, two of the Bridge Bunnies are accepted, though I'm be a little iffy on Reisen, if only because of the Brain Wave Manipulation power.
My solution to this is either A) wait for an explanation that'll cease the worries of the BWM being easy-to-abuse or B) A limit on the BWM akin to the limit of the MEoDP, in which its true power is unlocked when the power bar is higher.

It's no worse without the moon on hand than illusion powers (or a second-level D&D invisibility spell), and whilst she can mess with things she doesn't seem to be capable of mind reading or mind control. I think she just screws with sensory stuff, really, since that also provides the most notable symptoms of 'madness'.

OC, gooooo Name: ARIA-001, or just Allan. Designation an acronym for Acoustically Reconstructed Intuitive Automaton. Age: Several eons since creation, three years since actual activation and acquirement of true sentience. Appears to be a boy of about 12. Sex: Though he is technically genderless, he has most of the secondary sexual characteristics of a male human, and will thus be referred to by male pronouns. Appearance: "My world is one of music. There is no color to me that cannot be reinterpreted as a tone, no taste that I cannot turn into a tune or a symphony, no sight that I can't replicate with a single instrument. Won't you come with me to hear the sunrise dawning?" Powers/Tech: Sentient Automaton: As the magnum opus of his world's greatest roboticist, ARIA is a nigh-on-perfect replica of a real human - he can think, learn, and experience emotion, just like any other individual. However, while he is capable of absorbing anything sound-related with incredible ease, other subjects that deviate from his primary purpose are rather counter-intuitive to him, and he will have to spend much longer at taking to them - at the start of the RP, he has very little in the way of actual life skills, having been 'awake' for a grand total of three years. Harmony Core: A circular, neon-blue, keyboard-like object created by ARIA's designer to be his power source, the Harmony Core represents a revolution in energy production - created from the remains of an otherworldy meteorite and super-advanced technology, it is able to convert any sound, no matter how small, into a stored, semi-mystical form, dubbed Harmony by its creator. This conversion process is instant, and the net energy loss is a tiny 1% - hence, it allows its user to operate with an almost lossless efficiency, as long as there is sound in the immediate vicinity. Manipulation of Harmony/Superlative Hearing/Perfect Playback: ARIA was created specifically to run on Harmony, and to use its power to reproduce a variety of effects. Hence, he can temporarily manifest any instrument he has stored in his database from solid Harmony, and he can perfectly record, replay, and mimic virtually any sound in his hearing range, which has the potential to span a planet or more. Likewise, he can also amplify the sounds he replays to very high levels, enough to cause physical damage - however, this will hurt his own body, and he dislikes having to do it intensely. A safety feature in his central processing unit automatically filters the audio input, keeping him from being overwhelmed - however, if he puts his mind to it, he can hear almost anything. This facility extends to musical instruments - he can play anything with superlative skill, and his own singing voice, while rarely heard, is impossibly beautiful. Interpretation of Sound: ARIA-001, being a completely sound-based system, can see the world through sound - he is able to view noises as colors and shapes, and can feel them as sensations and tastes when he chooses to. Through this, he can conceptualize audio like no-one else can, and beautiful music is incredibly pleasant - however, harsh, discordant noises can actually cause him physical hurt, and he is almost fearful of them. Awakened Symphony: While ARIA is actually extremely fragile, when he stores enough Harmony he can activate a winged form known as his Awakened Symphony, where wings formed from a variety of neon-blue musical instruments fan out from his back and around the Harmony Core, which removes itself from his endoskeleton to float behind him. In this form, he operates at maximum capacity, and can interpret sounds to grant him power. He can actually manipulate the audio he sees like they were physical entities - for example, he can reflect the sound of a gunshot by redirecting it and shaping it into a bullet, or he can use it to give him a sudden burst of speed. Music gives him the most energy, and can be interpreted to perform many feats, depending on the song. However, harsh sounds still hurt him considerably, and his Harmony reserves do not automatically replenish when using this combat form - leaving him in danger of going into hibernation mode whenever he uses it. Muse Arm: Instead of a normal limb, ARIA's entire right forearm has the appearace of a navy-blue, glowing robotic arm, with thick, visible wires that plug into his back and shoulder, leading directly to the Harmony Core. There is a speaker embedded in his hand - this acts as his primary playback device for non-vocal noises, and he can use it to reproduce sounds with 100% fidelity. While not overly durable, it is stronger than most of the endoskeleton that covers the rest of his body, mainly by virtue of being thicker and made of solid metal. If the cords connecting the Muse Arm to the Harmony Core are severed, ARIA will experience severe pain, followed by a potentially deadly leakage of Harmony. Faction: Possibly Red Pirates, possibly not!Imperium. Who knows? World of Origin: His own world, Euterpe-19. Personality: Almost completely dedicated to music, ARIA's sole purpose ever since acquiring sentience has been the pursuit of what he dubs the Surpassing Melody, the most beautiful tune in the multiverse. Despite all his efforts, he has not managed to find the spark that will help him compose it - and so he continues to search, interpreting new sights and experiences as music in an attempt to find it. Because of this robotic single-mindedness, he is actually almost naively innocent in matters of actual living and human emotion, though he tends to be rather enigmatic at first glance. His love of music and unique perception of the world can come off as rather eccentric at times - this is not helped much by his tendency to zone out at a particularly enchanting tune or sensation. However, the beauty of music is something he revels in, and even his voice sounds like an angelic song, modulated somewhat to loosely fit normal vocal patterns. He detests harsh noises, as much as he hates violence, anger and wanton destruction - he claims that the sound they create actually hurts him, which it well might. As of yet, he has not seen the need for any companionship - his music is enough, he says, and will be until he finds the Surpassing Melody. Bio: Euterpe-19 was a planet of musicians. Constant innovation and technical excellence made it the most renowned center of fine culture in its galaxy, and its entire society revolved around musical ability, which also took their acoustic sciences to the highest possible level. One of their most brilliant musician-scientists, however, became singularly obsessed with finding the most perfect tune in the Universe - so much that he began to deem everything on his world as defiled and not worthy of existence because they fell short of that standard. Dubbing it the Surpassing Melody, he began two constructions that would carry on his search for it after his death - first, the most advanced automaton possible with Euterpe's level of technology, designed to be the perfect 'human orchestra' and given sentience - because music could not exist without a soul, he reasoned. Secondly, a doomsday device that he would use to destroy all life on the planet - a certain tone that would cause a cataclysmic series of volcanic eruptions, obliterating the impure things in the way of his quest. Both were made possible by a strange, neon-blue meteorite he discovered one day, capable of converting any sound into a quasi-mystical substance he called Harmony. After extensive research and twenty years of development, testing, and alterations, he set his plan into motion. He would destroy his world, and use a wormhole generator to hurl his creation into deep space, where it would lie dormant in a pod until it landed on a suitable planet and generated enough Harmony to awaken. Then, it would follow his directions, and continue his search for the Surpassing Melody. Both were successful. ARIA, his greatest creation, remained in dreaming hibernation for millennia in the vacuum of space, wrapped in a nearly-impervious cocoon. Euterpe-19 was wiped of life in ten minutes. And so it continued, until ARIA crash-landed on a certain planet in the year 2009, two million years after he had set out... a world known as the World of Lilim.

Hm... I'm gonna take a risk and say that Reisen is accepted.
And I think Aria is okay as well. Very beefy, I might add.

Screw it. Making a third hokage character. - Name: Ginger Aleman
- Age: 21
- Sex: Female
- Appearance: "Oooooh, this will be great for my fanfiction!
- Power/Tech: She has the Shard of the Dragon Phantom, whose influence is more overwhelming compared to other Phantoms, as he can make parts of himself appear outside of Ginger.
- He can appear as his own head to blow a stream of flames.
- He can appear as his wings to give Ginger the power of flight.
- He can appear as his tail to give Ginger a blunt object to attack with.
- He can appear as his claws to give Ginger a slashing weapon.
- Or he can appear as all the above and give Ginger an all out attack
- Faction: No side as of yet
- World of Origin: World of Lilim
- Personality: Ginger is a strange person. When not talking about Anime, she doesn't say much. Though the moment the topic shifts to anything anime-related, she's all over it, even talking in a fast pace about it. It's no secret that she's an addict and that actually meeting anime people would be a wet dream made manifest. Because of her quirky, always happy nature, she's least likely to succumb to her despair and unleash the Dragon Phantom, much to his dismay.
- Bio: Ginger has been an Anime otaku ever since she was young, raised on Gundam and Sailor Moon and soon moving on to Evangelion and Madoka when she was older. One of her massive hobbies is heading down to Fanfiction.net, mainly because she couldn't get enough of an anime fix. She only now decided to write a fanfiction of her own, following the advice of one TvTropes.org. She frequents the local Starbucks to work on her fanfiction and homework.
