Nanoha--Lost Logia Hunters

Actually doesn't involve Nanoha herself, oddly enough, and takes place concurrently with StrikerS. Anyway, the premise is simple: our characters are part of the TSAB Navy, assigned to hunting down Lost Logia on non-administrated worlds or those only loosely under TSAB control. Whilst everyone ends up bothering with the Saint's Cradle, we'll be a bit too busy to go back and help.

So, the important things:
The group is broadly divided between 'ranged' and 'melee'. Anno and I have the two Captains, 'cause... GM's and therefore the ones required to dispense plot and stuff.
This group is Lost Property Riot Force 1.
Due to the nature of the group, the lowest permissible Mage Rank is AA.

Name: Miata Aventador
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Appearance: Mia stands a bit taller than average, but not much. She has pale blue eyes and waist length green hair, which she normally keeps tied back when in uniform. (Something like this, only without the hair decs.)
Personality: Mia is a very shy and quiet girl, at least most of the time. If you can get her out of her shell, she's an incredibly talkative person; possibly a bit too talkative for her own good or that of anyone around her. She's also willing to stick up for what few friends she has, while at the same time being terrified of losing or alienating them.

In standby form, it takes the form of a turquoise crystal in the shape of a dodecahedron, worn around her neck hanging from a chain.
Barrier Jacket: Mia's Barrier Jacket consists of a short green skirt trimmed in silver and a white sleeveless hooded jacket with green edging, worn over a dark-blue short sleeved turtleneck and white thigh-high socks, along with black half-gloves and green-striped white boots.

History: A quick skim of Mia's personnel file turns up nothing unusual; no commendations or black marks. But that doesn't say a lot about her, aside from affirming her general reluctance to speak her mind. She was born on an administered world, and as such was identified as a mage relatively early, and entered the TSAB academy at the age of thirteen. This is not to say she is decidedly average; in fact at least one of her instructors noted in her record that she had great potential, she was just hesitant to act on it. The very fact that she passed the B-Rank wall can be seen as showing this well.

Appearance: Girl on the left. Just assume the other two are siblings or something.

Personality: A curious person by nature, she tends to need reminded by her Device not to go around snooping or poking at the mysterious artefacts, though at least Nana prefers the former. She also has a rather weird and seemingly random sense of humour, finding boring things hilarious, and vice versa. She's also really into binding spells. Very much so. Not like she really tells people this, though.

Device: Panacea, the spearhead-thing on a ribbon. It's also a Boost Device. (Let's just assume the gem is lodged somewhere just under the prongs). In standby mode, it takes the form of a pink gem within a bracelet.

Other: Has two siblings stationed elsewhere in the TSAB. Technically has a higher magic rank, though they would be her superiors otherwise.

Description: Tomoyo can use sealing spells on artefacts to try and dispel any dangerous magical properties. She can also bind opponents, but this requires close distance and a casting time, so impractical during battle.

Category: Support, healing
Description: Using her device, Tomoyo can heal wounds by 'cutting' them. While Boosted Healing is normally better for dealing with all wounds at once, this spell works better for far more serious wounds that require immediate attention. Not a perfect heal, but helps move someone from critical condition.

Appearance: "Yes?"
Personality: Feckless and generally not the best of captains, Liria is known for blowing practically all her earnings on booze and prostitutes. She seems to have lax standards for her partners, too. Sober, she acts like a model citizen... which presumably fits given where she originated. However, she's way too into fighting.
Device: Musashi. Yes, her Device is named after a swordsman from an unadministrated world and is a katana. The cartridge system is built into the hilt.
Barrier Jacket: Much worse than her normal attire, really. Not that protective down the front--it's all a trap.

History: An orphan raised by the Saint Church, Liria wanted to protect others as soon as she realised that the church, in fact, protected her. She fervently took all extracurricular activities that would lead to a combat position and, gradually, worked her way up and up. Eventually, her somewhat... strange combat style and affinity, emphasising leaving herself open in order to entice enemies into putting themselves in a perfect position. She did well, rising to vice-captaincy before the pressure from getting there before even getting to twenty and having feverishly devoted herself to it became too much and she started drinking. Heavily. That's also when she redesigned her barrier jacket like this.
Liria has improved since then but she's realised that she's kind of lacking in the social department, with no real friends or romantic prospects. And you can't buy love, as much as she's tried to do so despite all sense.
Other: Into bondage, knows panzergeist and can use it whilst fighting, and knows panzerschild, too.

Description: Liria creates a thin vacuum along the edge of her blade to make it cut much better, doing precisely what you would think it does: cut through stuff absurdly easily.

Description: A rapid down-then-up motion that sends a vacuum blade rushing for the enemy. She can repeat it half a dozen times for one casting, enabling her to block off passages of escape for her foes. They're hard to see due to being little more than distortions in the air.

Category: Magic-enhanced attack
Description: Exactly what it sounds like: a cutting vortex so close to her body she can't move forwards without getting cut. During the casting, Liria intentionally leaves herself open to entice the opponent to go for her stomach, then opens up the spinning vacuum before her to slice them up. It takes too much mana to project it any further and she can't really cast it multiple times. Also only good for one use on anyone that's looking.

Appearance: When she's not blowing things up, Feiana likes to play with her pet rabbits.
Personality: At first glance, despite her young age, Feiana is commanding and responsible. However, looking deeper, it's apparent that despite her rank, she's still a child. Feiana likes sweets and enjoys playing games in her off time, and also enjoys having a friendly relationship with her squad. However, she gets very upset and angry when she thinks someone isn't taking her seriously, which stems from her promotion to captain at such a young age. She is very fond of her pet rabbits back home. She takes combat and her leadership duties very seriously, befitting of her rank as captain.

Barrier Jacket: Feiana's barrier jacket features three layers. The first layer resembles a blue one-piece swimsuit, though it is mostly covered by the other two layers. The second layer is a white shirt that ends above her midriff, and a white knee-length skirt. Both of them are outlined in blue. The third and final layer is an open white longcoat. The coat has a thick blue trim. She has knee-high white socks with dark blue boots.

History: Feiana was born into a loving, but heavily military-oriented family. She has experienced basic magical training for much of her life, and proved she was quite adept at spells, especially of the offensive variant. This led to experience in the TSAB very early in her life. Due to her preformance, she was specially selected to be the new Captain for Lost Property Riot Force 1 at age 9, and has been the squad's captain for a little less then a year. She has a large amount of pet rabbits at home, which have been taken from earth.

Description: A simple shooting spell, Arrange Shooter fires blue orbs or magical energy. The pattern can be altered from a steady stream that fires from Reverse Driver's tip, to a "wall" of orbs. The number of orbs can be adjusted, but cannot go above twenty.

Name: Shatter Burst

Description: Shatter Burst is simple in form yet damaging in effect. Similar to many other spells of its kind, Shatter Burst is a large amount of magical energy, quickly charged in an orb larger then the caster, and then fired as a thick beam.

Name: Stormbreaker

Category: Bombardment
Description: Stormbreaker is an advanced bombardment spell. It has two variants: split and full. Split charges the initial attack, and fires it as four Shatter Burst-sized beams at once, intended to cut off escape routes. Full fires Stormbreaker as a single, massive laser designed to do as much damage to the target as possible.
