I think I have an idea, and if not, it might be the plot for Lilim World's Arc: A test to see who is worthy to pilot the Nadeshiko (... Yeah, I usually spell Nadeshiko with a k).

It's been a while, so I'm not sure if we OOC agreed on a captain or not. I recalled it being either the rabbits or one of Flanker's characters, but right now the memory is fuzzy.

Pretty sure, yeah.
Also, I'm pretty sure a child could pilot the Nadesico if they had a way to get the IFS, so it's not like it's particularly difficult.
And...personally, I thought the rushing was kind of annoying, but I get that not rushing it like that would've annoyed people too.
I think we agreed on Flanker being the captain a while back, but I think that was before Strat said the decision should be IC and we should just see how it goes. And I think someone else might've objected to someone having dibs on the spot too.

Yeah, you guys are right.
I think that initial agreement came about since I was like "awwww yeeeeeaaaaah flying" and nobody else expressed an interest in taking the position themselves (unless I'm misremembering). Then when the time came for the actual sign-up, Strat (and Psyga) pointed out it was kind of unfair for one person to go "dibs!", so I removed the relevant part of the sign-up.
Presumably that particular point's still in place despite Stratofarius's exit, so although I'd still like to do that I guess I'm willing to go with whatever happens IC.
Hopefully neither of my characters are coming off as derps.

Little do you know that I've been prepared for just such an eventuality for all my life! Your attacks will have no effect on me! I will rule supreme! *cue evil laughter* Nah, my character isn't one to do that; he doesn't really expect anyone to listen to him since he's never really been seen as a leader or someone who can lead. Even aside from that, he's perfectly content being the group's glorified bus driver and/or fellow (not terribly good) warrior for everlasting peace. How many people can say they've flown a goddamn spaceship (or for that matter go on an adventure across universes)?  |

Might not be using Serena after all, since I have no idea how to introduce her. Probably won't be making that villain I was going on about, since I haven't got any ideas. Don't know if I'll use that other character idea I had, since I have no good personality ideas for him.

Everything else is working fine and the site hasn't had any problems loading for me today other than that one time...and apparently post edits don't get drafted and firefox doesn't save the updated text in the edit post window...
