Jenny sat up. Slowly. Everything felt a bit... strange.
And then her eyes opened, revealing that instead of blue, they were now a pale amber instead. As far as anyone could tell, this was a completely different girl sat on the table.
"Is... is it over?"

More of the gems broke off from the vast shape as Zelretch drew his sword, resting it on his shoulder, and once again ringed the plateau. The first soldiers over the edge would find it detonating beneath their hands, not only crumbling the edge of it and making progress more difficult for the others due to weakened rock but blowing said hands off and dropping them onto the heads of those aiming to climb up.

Marisa watched, eyes wide. Now this... this was entertainment, pure and simple. And it was fantastic! The power being thrown around here, it was incredible! It wasn't danmaku, that was for sure... so if Marisa did find a way to... appropriate it for her own use, she'd need to find some method to convert it. That said...
"Amazing!"

"Not till the fish jumps." Tsukasa said. He looked into a monitor and saw a fish jump out of the ocean in Hook's World. "It's over. Welcome back. Your code name will be Eternal. Now, what are your directives?" Tsukasa said.
The soldiers fell off the plateau but attempted to climb up the plateau, while several of the soldiers were making a human pyramid for the soldiers to hop over and attack the Apostle.
All while Nicholas talked with Hook on how to take on Barbossa.
"So... Instead of taking cursed Aztec coins, he cheated death?" Nicholas asked.
"Nay. He died... but he got out of it... If what that woman says is correct, it will take more than a gun to finish off Barbossa for good." Hook said.
"Uh... Do you see those soldiers? Those are my guys. I can just send them to take on Barbossa... provided that the dude doesn't waste them all." Nicholas said.

"...Grey Verdict, Captain of the Raven Guards in the service of the glorious Umbran Empire." Rank and name was a formality, one that had to be said before the possible usage of violence and maybe the taking of lives. When one was in the profession of a soldier, there had to be a ritual for interacting with would be targets. "Now... state who you are, spellsinger. How did you come out of the void like that? Such a thing should only be available to those that reach the pinnacle of the arcane artes, and yet you are but a babe.

"I see you haven't been programmed with the directives yet... They're quite simple. Kill any person I tell you to kill. And right now, I want you to kill all the members of the Brotherhood. I don't care how you do it, be it blatantly stabbing people left and right or go in as a sleeper agent until the time is right for you to kill. All I care about is that one less obstacle is out of my path." Tsukasa said to her. "Ya got that?" He asked her.

"I understand." She slid off the table, and went to leave, despite being unarmed, at least as far as she knew.

Just then, Tsukasa handed her a knife.
"Your weapon. Use it wisely..." He told her.

"Thank you."
She weighed the weapon in her hand; it was a short knife, maybe eight or nine inches at most. The hilt was slightly curved, and there appeared to be a trigger guard at the top, just under a slot for something. What that something was, she did not know, but the knife itself settled nicely into an inverted hold.

One of the soldiers was unfortunate enough to discover that Zelretch was, in fact, capable of moving more than fast enough to harm a Servant and was promptly caught unaware when he started funnelling mana from other dimensions--in a slightly more constructive manner than the obliterating ray of light, since this turned the Jewel Sword into the kaleidoscopic heart of a longsword of blazing magic--to the blade and bisected him.
It wasn't really a trick that could be repeated, though he could infinitely keep the blade like that, and Zelretch was forced to draw back underneath the gems. For a brief period, he actually engaged the soldiers in melee, not really thinning the numbers much, and ended up spearing soldiers with gem-fired lasers when they actually came close to hitting him.
Desiring to clear some space, the Dead Apostle let another face of the tetrahedron, its size slowly shrinking, convert itself to a spell: the gems created a buzzsaw of blinding energy that somehow managed to trap the air around it and become several times larger. And that started circling Zelretch, obstinately refusing to be blocked and just rolling around swords and the like to carve a cheerful path through the press of bodies.
"Rider, would you like to end this now?" the old man asked, turning to look at the redhead and ignoring the spear that had just slipped through his guard, spearing his stomach. The soldier unfortunate enough to do that found his head removed by the whirling magical saw and his weapon ripped out and tossed through another, the wound it left behind rapidly closing. The press of bodies on top of the plateau hadn't thinned, but at the same time it was impossible to just overrun Zelretch since he had moved to the centre and they'd end up running into each other.

"Sure... Let's finish this!" Rider said as he hopped off his horse and attempted to slash at Zelretch with his sword.

Deflecting the blade with his own, Zelretch jumped high into the air, right into his mass of gems... which formed a solid platform beneath him as he rose even higher. So many soldiers... he would just have to take out as many of them as he could at once. Without warning, the light around his blade winked out... only to be replaced by a dazzling kaleidoscope as the gem sword lit up. Anyone with magical sensitivity would be able to tell just how much was contained in the blade in that instant.
"Taste this, the power that drove back the moon! Eins... Zwei... Vernichtung!"
A blaze of light roared forth from the sword, a wave vast enough to take out thousands of soldiers from Zelretch's vantage point. There was a surprising amount of care taken with the aim: Iskander himself and the guests were outside the band that would rip through bodies like paper and leave an axe-like wound deep in the ground... if the Reality Marble survived. Ionian Hetairoi was fuelled by its soldiers as much as Iskander himself, and if a large amount were to perish at once...

August blinked in confusion at the rather interesting battle suddenly going on nearby and at the fact that he was apparently in a desert.
More interesting was the insanely powerful sword. He stared at it, unconsciously beginning to move towards it like a moth drawn to a flame.
It glowed even brighter and more beautifully to his senses, but at the same time the boy couldn't understand it as he could other swords. It frightened him and pulled at him at the same time.
When the giant attack flared out of it, August was physically knocked back as it overwhelmed his senses, his head spinning from the sheer amount of energy as it overloaded his perceptions.
"t-too...too...much..."
He held his head as his vision blurred, as much from tears of pain as the barrage against his senses.

That blast... Marisa could equate it only to her most powerful sparks in sheer destructive capability. And it was wider, a wave instead of a laser. Also it... wasn't danmaku, but surely it could be adapted to be so. One thing was absolutely certain: Marisa wanted that sword even more, now. Somehow, she was going to get it. How was unknown to her, but she'd think of something. She always tended to think of something.

...if a large amount were to perish at once, then the Marble dissolves, returning them back to the real world. Rider, however, returned to Nicholas' body due to his soul being confined to the shard. Nicholas acted like nothing happened, and as soon as he was done talking with Hook, he turned Marisa.
"The Precious Thing... You were the girl who stole the precious thing, right? At least that's what that song said..." Nicholas said. Soon, clapping was heard.
"Ahhh, Marvy-chan! There you are! I see you were busy gaining some Greater Powers..." Nicholas turned to see someone he found familiar.
"Basco?" Nicholas muttered. Basco then held a trumpet.
"Ya mind if I take that Greater Power you just showed? That vanishing act one?" Basco asked, pointing the trumpet towards Nicholas.
"Huh... But... What do you..." Nicholas continued to mutter.
"Can't hear ya! Not like your answer will matter anyways..." Basco said as he was about to play the trumpet.

"... Precious... thing...? Stole? I don't steal! But... there was a song about me? Ehh?" Marisa was confused. And also lying. But... a song about her? That really did sound pretty awesome... if it wasn't so confusing. She'd never heard any songs about herself, not even after she asked those poltergeist sisters to make something up. It was a pain!
And then the guy with the trumpet started talking about taking his... 'greater power'. Oh no. No way in hell. If there was one thing Marisa wanted to do, it was take these things herself. No other random guy was going to go moving in on her territory. Marisa off-handedly leveled her mini-hakkero at the would-be thief.
"To hell with that."
Grinning, she fired a... fairly basic laser. It wasn't huge, like a Master Spark, but only about the width and height of the mini-hakkero. It'd feel like a somehow non-permanently-injuring sledgehammer to the chest if it hit, though.

The gems retreated back into Zelretch's pockets as the world dissolved around them, and the vampire began to put his clothing back on. Grinning, he ignored the person showing up and trying to steal powers and made a snap decision to at least introduce himself to Nicholas after annihilating so much of the army like that.
"Don't feel bad about the army, I've beaten the moon before in a fight," the old man said cheerfully, "I feel that I should introduce myself: Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg. Everyone calls me by my second name, however."

Basco smirked as he sidesteped the blast shot at him by Marisa. Some of the blast toasted his hat a bit. He chuckled at the witch for a bit before turning to Nicholas. "Marvy-Chan! You didn't tell me you also gained a new crew! And you didn't invite little ol' me? Ah... Guess it was that whole 'being dead' thing..." Basco said.
However, Nicholas didn't pay attention to Basco, and instead turned to talk to Zelretch.
"Ah... You fought the moon? Nice... We sort of fought the moon too... Well, someone just split the moon in half with a giant beam or somethin' and the other people blew it to shit." Nicholas said. Just then, Basco shot at Nicholas' feet.
"OI! I'm talkin' to you!" Basco said as he held up both his gun and trumpet.
Tsukasa then handed Jenny a white USB Flash Drive with a blue tip on it.
"Now... Shall I transport you to where you're needed?" Tsukasa asked her.

He dodged. And still seemed intent on nabbing those powers for himself. Well, he was going to fail, because Marisa was going to do that. And he laughed at her, and that was just a bad move.
"Ohhh, you're going to regret that," she said, taking a step towards the man with trumpet. Without further delay, she fired a massive rotating star-shaped pattern of danmaku at the man. It was intended to be big enough to keep him from dodging, and hit hard enough to knock him down, and painful enough to keep him from thinking of getting up and trying to pull any of that again.

"Very well. Psyga! You're going back for round 2!" Tsukasa said to the blond-haired man who was Meteor. "What? But... I..." The rider said, looking at Jenny, then to Tsukasa, then repeating the movement of his head, looking all confused. "Fuck no! Send that other guy! That radiator man!" Psyga said. "Very well..." Tsukasa said, snapping his fingers. Footsteps were heard as a man with a long white coat, brown pants, blue hair, and a long scarf approached Jenny. " So... you're a new member of Dai-Shocker? I am pleased to meet you." The man said. There was something off about his voice. It sounded artificial and high-pitched, and there was a sort of computer feel to his voice. The man held out his hand to Jenny.
Basco was soon knocked back by the Danmaku. He tried to get up, but the pain was this enough to keep him on his knees and not get up. Nicholas ignored this and talked to Zelretch. "By the way, my name is Nicholas. Nicholas Santos." Nicholas said. Basco heard Nicholas say his name. "So... You're not Marvy-Chan... Damn..." Basco said.

August blinked away the stars of pain filling his vision and pressed the buttons on his GPS with his hands trembling. The Brotherhood had way more firepower than he was prepared to handle, and beside that the strength of the sword completely terrified the boy.
So he fled the scene through the gray wall. He ran to the closest familiar signal, though it belonged to a person that sometimes scared him almost as much as the power of that sword did now.
He stumbled out of the other side and over to Tsukasa, then immediately began trying to repeat everything he'd witnessed. August was sobbing hysterically and his head still hadn't cleared itself of the sword's magic but he knew he had to try speaking.
"Grandpa-Grandpa!!!-There-was-a-big-whoosh-and-then-we-were-in-a-desert-and-everyone-was-fighting-and-then-there-was-a-sword-and-it-was-like-gzzzzt!!!-and-then-it-blew-up-and-they-were-too-strong-so-I-ran-and-i'm sorry sorry sorry sorry!!!"
He knew he had failed even if he didn't know what the mission was. Now all that was left was waiting for his punishment. So he stared at the floor and waited.

Another gray wall opened besides August, and out of it came Kios, half of his body destroyed by the multiple attacks that just happened to hit him. As his reptilian form regenerated, he stumbled towards Tsukasa, a look of contained anger in his face. "In other words", he said, stretching his arm. "The Brotherhood has some new allies. People that we weren't ready to face. So don't punish him."

August hid behind Kios as soon as the he arrived, wrapping his arms around the lizardman's leg, still trembling and whimpering occasionally and seeming even more upset by his adopted parent's freshly healing wounds and barely masked anger.
He occasionally peeked out to see what was going on around the room but was still too scattered from the sword's explosion of power to think properly.
"But Daddy...I did a bad job. The mission went wrong and we had to leave instead...My fault..."
He choked back a sob at the last part and hid against Kios's leg again, shaking and whimpering, grieving and terrified at his own failure.

"Ah, so you guys are back too. Good. I guess we can tag out now. Kaito, go with Jenny to take care of the- Wait... Desert?" Tsukasa said. He then ran over and picked up some papers. "Desert... desert... Oh dear god... Thank you August, your service will be rewarded with money or other such goods. As for you, Kios, the mission was to scout the Brotherhood and see how they've improved since our last encounter with them, and so, he's rewarded." Tsukasa said.
Kaito nodded and teleported himself and Jenny to a random point in the World of Hook...
To where Grey and Tachi were.

"Yes, sir."
Kios nodded, and then turned back to August, crouching down so he could stare into his eyes. With a smile, he patted his son's head. "See? You did the right thing. Everything's fine. No need to be sad. Although I have no idea what he wants to do with us."
---------------------------------
Roy, who was observing the past situations from a safe position near Grey and Tachi, was a bit surprised when Jenny and Kaito appeared. Standing up, he placed his hands behind his back, ready to snap his fingers. "Who are you two? How did you get here? And what do you want in this place?"
