"If they didn't want an 'unexceptional member' of my species to have it, they should have tried harder," retorted Flanker. Of course, there was now the minor issue that he couldn't very well leave Griga alone, but the others might need his assistance as well. When the idea of getting Griga to lead them to Daishuryou was raised, he said, "That could work... but he might also lead us into a trap. It'd be risky."
Ling's question was met with an uncomfortable silence. Mulling it over for a bit, Flanker finally spoke up. "Well... I do know first aid, but it's been a while since I took the course and I've already got my hands full here. Sorry, I can't help right now."
Elpizo, Gotham bank
Ciaran's diamond pickaxe made contact with something - a thin, needlelike orange beam, which in turn was being emitted from a rapier hilt. Its' owner, meanwhile, was none other than Elpizo (who the teenager would probably not recognise). A sly smile was currently spread across his lips.
"Tsk tsk. Don't you know that it's dishonourable to strike your opponent from behind? And to use a tool as your weapon... my, you're not swordsman material at all!" As always, Elpizo's voice seemed to drip with an arrogance born of a bloated ego. "If you please, I will educate you in how to truly fight!"
The administrative reploid shoved at Ciaran's pickaxe with his beam rapier and tried to follow it up with a fast - if not too powerful - kick to create some distance between himself and Ciaran, as well as Doomsday.

Before Joseph could even decide what he should do, some other guy showed up and blocked Ciaran's attack. Joseph eyes flashed with anger, "we don't care about honor and we don't want your lessons, so unless you have a reason to be here, I suggest that you piss off." Joseph then charged at Elpizo, trying to slam his bat into Elpizo's face.

Ciarán stumbled backwards, but quickly regained his footing.
Which was weird, since he had been clinically diagnosed with the balance of a three year old.
"Honour? Haven't you heard? All's fair in love and war. And since you're probably a friend of Crystal Hulk over there, I do believe this is war." he said, in an over-exaggerated "posh" English accent.
Pointing his makeshift weapon at Elpizo, he decided to let loose a pun.
"Fight or Flight. Take you pick."

Anno shook her head, trying to shake off the embarrassment and focus once more. The dimensional gate stood before her. She didn't know exactly where it would take her, aside from somewhere on the world below. But somewhere on the world below, there was the minions of what was in very literal terms an evil empire. Doing what was unquestionably terrible evil. And Anno, well... she was capable of helping to stop them. There was no more time to delay any longer.
Taking a deep breath, Anno strode forward, Excalibur appearing in her hand. Whatever was on the other side of the gate, she was ready. Moments later, she passed through the gate entirely...
Outside Gotham Bank
... And found herself outside what she could only assume was a bank. Anno shook her head, and looked around. Well, it was certainly a bank, the sign told her as much. Really obvious, really. The streets were a mess, like something large and angry had been rampaging through them And there was what Anno could only assume had done the damage.
It was a huge gray humanoid, body encrusted in what looked something like gray crystals. And it was destroying things, wrecking the buildings, trying to get at... something. Behind it, there was someone in armor with a beam sword of some sort fighting... two guys with a pick and a bat? Whatever, that was... less of a priority then the huge gray rampaging thing.
Raising Excalibur, Anno angled it so the tip was pointing directly for the hulking gray behemoth's side. And then she broke into a sprint.
Her speed was incredible. Even at C-rank, the speed of a Servant was impressive. Surely enough to facilitate a surprise attack, at least.

"How vulgar," commented Elpizo. His blue eyes seemed to sparkle with malevolence. It appeared that humans never changed; even now, with his powers at their greatest height, they still underestimated him. "You see, I am here for a reason - I am one of Dai-Shocker's generals. I wish I could explain what I was doing here, but - "
Joseph's strike was met with a lightning quick block. Although the beam rapier was limited in raw power, its' high speed seemed to make up for it. " - That would be telling now, wouldn't it? As for your question, whelp... be a good boy and die, so that I don't need to waste my powers on you."
Although they were (relatively) weak, a pulse of dark purple and black flames roiled up Elpizo's blade in an attempt to incinerate either Joseph or his bat. If Joseph wasn't too busy trying to defend himself, he may have noticed Elpizo's eyes flashing red for a moment as the dark fire manifested. His pink coat billowed in a non-existent wind for a split second as well.
Being rather preoccupied with Ciaran and Joseph, he didn't notice Anno making a beeline for Doomsday.

...That sure doesn't look like any Green Lantern I know... Moerin thought for a moment, before assuming that he was probably in the same situation as her and her friends were. She was, of course, rather pleased to find out that Nightwing was just as handsome as she thought he'd be, although since she was trying to be serious right now shameless flirting would have to wait.
"Heh, I'll try not to let them get me... And you should listen to Green Lantern there, Dick," she said with a playful smirk, "This'll all be over in a minute, eheh~ Just remember that you owe Moerin for this!"
Kicking off from the rubble surrounding her, the catgirl charged head-on towards Composite Superman, only stopping for a moment to yell at her adopted sister to cover up. Balling up a fist, she threw a punch at the amalgamated supervillain with as much strength as she could muster...
I can't lose! Nothing can stop me now! I... I'll defeat anyone who stands in my way, no matter how strong they are!
Anise - Gotham City, the actual bank
"Be careful, Anno," Anise said, stepping out of the gate after the knightly-clad girl. "We don't know what's- And she just runs off towards an unknown monster. Why do I even bother..." At the very least, she wanted to make sure Anno wouldn't be in too much trouble, and so with a wave of her staff tried to cast a Shield spell on her, just in case the monster really was as strong as he looked.
There seemed to be another fight going on nearby, too. The robotic man didn't exactly look like the heroic type (although somehow she just knew master would be drooling all over him if she was here), so clearly he was the one she should aim for even before he proclaimed to be a member of Dai-Shocker...
...And then she heard the pick-wielding boy's godawful pun.
...Maybe I should just cast Meteor and take them all out in one go. By the gods, it'd probably be doing the multiverse a favour.

"Well, there's an easy way to do that." Jenny pulled off her helmet, and climbed off the bike, pulling her Driver out from behind her back. She slapped it into place, the belt materialising on its own. And then she flipped the two red switches down.
"Henshin!" She called, thrusting one arm into the air in typically melodramatic fashion.
"All right, here we go!"

"M-Moe?!" Seeing the demon leap out at this height, the mage panicked and stupidly jumped out afterwards. As she reached terminal velocity, the mage desperately crafted frost wings to slow down her jarring descent. Now her plummet was even more wobbly, and the girl tumbled about in mad pirouettes as the ground came up to meet her.
At last the buildings were in sight. Holding together her concentration, the mage suddenly encrusted her frame in layers of magical enhanced ice before smashing into the asphalt. Picking herself out of the landing shell, one dizzy mage stumbled her way toward the group near Composite Superman. "Bluh..."

"I can hardly help you in this situation, even if I wanted to." Griga said, "Without my GPS, I can't find the Great Leader myself. You're better off giving up."
Although the Lantern would be able to see Pleasure, he would hardly need the x-ray vision to see her, mostly due to the fact that the undead demon had pushed away the rubble she was hiding under, revealing to all those around of the presence of what was apparently an animated Succubus skeleton armed to the bone with long, sharp, and strangely flexible bones, which were quite obviously what had been attempting to skewer Nightwing and Joe.
Looking up at Joe with empty eye sockets, Pleasure apparently had enough sensory capabilities to locate the 'lantern and attempted to impale him on a few of the strange bones, while the majority were directed at those attacking Composite Superman.

As Roy and the others entered the portal, they could see that Dr. Maki didn't seem to retreat to Daishoryu's lair. Rather, it was a strange, bluish void. Dr. Maki stood in the center. " You didn't really think I'd lead you to my leader, did you?" Dr. Maki said. He then chuckled, twirling his Keyblade around. " I learned from the time I kidnapped Falkon. I learned a lot of his armor. This armor was inspired by those who came before us. Keyblade Wielders. Those who hold the ultimate key that unlocks the door to any world. I have learned a lot of these Wielders, including a funny little tidbit... They too went into a war, just like you and me, Roy. One side fought to preserve the light of the worlds... and the other... wished to consume it with DARKNESS!" Dr. Maki said as he slammed his Keyblade into the ground, creating a massive shadow beneath him that stretched out. Humanized blobs of darkness began to come out of the shadow, and ran to attack the group.
"MATTE, MATTE, MATTE, MATTEEEEEEE!!" Gai screamed out as he, Daring Do, and Lewis got out of the Gojyu Drill and onto the roof of a nearby building, staring down at the berserking monster known as Doomsday. "Gai, is it really necessary to do this?" Lewis asked Gai. "Yes! One hundred and one percent! We're going to go as loud and hammy as possible! Ready, Daring Do?" Gai asked Daring Do. " Ready, Gai!" Daring Do said. Gai then whipped out his Gokai Cellular. Lewis sighed and whipped out his Diendriver, and inserted the card. KAMEN RIDE... Gai whipped out his Gokai Silver key as Lewis pointed the gun in the air. "GOKAI CHANGE!" "IT'S MORPHIN' TIME!" Both of them said. Lewis shot as Gai placed the Key in the Cellular and pressed the button. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKAIGER!
DIEND! Their respective effects flew in the air, and flew down upon, granting them their armor. Gai was the first to deliver his role call. " My soul and body may have been pierced by the Drill that destroyed the heavens, but my heart still remains! Burning away the sin that the Drill gave me! I am the Reborn Warrior! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOKAI... SILVER!" Gai then posed, gesturing to Lewis. Lewis didn't wish to partake in the rolecall, but he felt like he had no choice. " Kamen Rider... Diend." Lewis said, half assing his pose. Daring Do then pointed in the air, her wings spreading wide open, causing some of the feathers to fall out dramatically. " The seven colors wash over the multiverse! The boom that can be heard, even in the reaches of space! A life is reborn! These signs tell the forth coming of the Storm of Loyalty! DARING DO!" Daring Do said as she posed dramatically, just like Gai. " Joining with yesterday's foe to fight fate, and taking tomorrow's path into our own hands!" Gai said, now pointing his finger in the air. " WE ARE..." Gai then signalled for Daring Do and Lewis to repeat after him. " XROS HEART!", both Gai and Daring Do said, though Lewis followed with a barely audible variation. Gai then took the Gokai Anchor. LET'S PUT ON A SHOW!" Gai said as he jumped down from the building to fight Doomsday. |

The Sewers of Amestris
Ty Lee smirked. "Oh no! I do have an idea, Griga. You're going to walk in front of us in the way that Doktor Z was running off to until we find Daishuryou. We'll be right behind you, hidden, and then we'll do a surprise attack on them. What do you think, guys?" She said, asking to Flanker and Falkon (but mostly Falkon).
Lan Fan knocked Kame back into a collection of pipes nearby (they were probably designed to transport something through the sewers, but she didn't care right now) before going back to Fuu and kneeling besides him. Once Sam began to heal Fuu with her waterbending technique, she was about to stop her when Ling raised his hand.
"It's okay." He said. "It's some sort of medicinal alchemy. It's what he needs. No need to be worried." Lan Fan nodded, placing a hand on Fuu's shoulder, trying to comfort him as Sam healed his wounds, which seemed to be mostly burns from the explosion. "Do be careful." Ling said to Sam, nodding towards Fuu. "He's important."

While Roy jumped through the portal, Hawkeye decided at the last minute to stay behind and assist the Elric brothers and Magi to take down the Phantom, so only Roy was there to listen to Maki's speech.
The Colonel simply furrowed his brow, raising both of his hands and pointing them at the blobs of darkness. "Maki, you know Daishuryou's plan will fail. He won't be able to create the human sacrifices in time. He won't survive past today." He said as he began to systematically snap his fingers, creating explosion after explosion designed to destroy the blobs of darkness.
"Giving up is the logical option." He said, his expression still the same despite the constant explosions. "You are fighting a fight you cannot win. Give. Up."

Composite Superman at the Police Station
Nightwing had a few problems, fighting against Pleasure's bones, so he didn't have time to warn Moe of what the composite being in front of her could do. Composite Superman roared, and prepared his counter-attack.
Moerin's attack was aimed at a certain part of Composite Superman, but when she eventually hit him, she found a nasty surprise: it felt like she was punching a trampoline. In fact, she was about to be sent back by good ol' elasticity when she found out another nasty surprise: her feet and part of her legs were now covered in metal that came directly from the lampposts and trash cans on the street. Composite Superman raised his fist, and Moerin could see it actually getting... hotter. Before she could make one conclusions, Composite Superman punched her. And the punch was so strong, so heavy, so hot that it actually broke her out of the metal that was trapping her, sending her flying all the way across the street and into one building.
Nightwing immediately went to her help, jumping inside the building and searching for Moerin. "Hey! HEY, GIRL! Give me a signal, something, anything!"

Amazo at the Docks
Knight did get to touch Amazo. He did manage to fly through the tornadoes, and he did touch Amazo. But, unfortunately, it was only a simple touch. A poke. Because the robot quickly said one simple world. "Orion." The tornadoes disappeared in an instant, and time seemed to stop for a moment as Amazo raised his hands in the air.
Time did stop, but not for everyone- only for Knight. Well, at least it looked like time had stopped for him. Amazo easily placed his hand in front of Knight's face, and a bright light appeared at the center of it. With a quiet boom, the bright light expanded into a force field that sent Troy flying right back with such strength, that his landing would create quite the sizable crater. The force field was so powerful that some of the floor near Amazo had been completely destroyed by it. Fortunately, as the force field expanded, it lost its strength, so by the time it reached up with Toph, it only had the strength of one of the tornadoes.
Toph did her best to try and help Knight, but she couldn't predict where he would land, which left her in a very uncomfortable situation as she had to fall to her knees and encase her arms and legs in stone just so she wouldn't be taken off her feet by the force field. Amazo easily floated down, looking at the point where Knight touched him. There was a small black point, and it looked like the poke had burned him. But with a simple nod, the black point disappeared, the area completely healed.
He then turned to Jolokia with the same expressionless face. Another force field? No. "Lightray." he said, as he raised his hand, and the lights from nearby lampposts once again turned off. But instead of converging on his hand, they turned into bright spikes that flew at an amazing speed towards Jolokia.

Doomsday at the Bank
All the confusion with Ciarán and Elpizo distracted Doomsday, giving Batman enough time to help Alicia get on the time train safely. She immediately got to work on driving the Gaoh-Liner to where John was, allowing everyone to see just how destroyed the street was thanks to Doomsday.
Doomsday, however, did not like the fact that people he had never seen before him and his life were trying to attack him. He had only met some of them for five seconds and he already completely hated them. They were not the enemies he had been promised. So when he spotted Anno running at him, he simply raised his massive hand, waited for her to get close to him and swatted her away like a man swats away a fly with his newspaper.
Thinking he got rid of that stupid little girl (he especially hated young people that thought they were superheroes- they were number one on his hate list, alongside everyone else), Doomsday quickly jumped, landing on top of a building and ripping out said building's water tower. He roared at the fight going on between Elpizo and some two idiots, throwing the water tower at them before jumping down, creating a sizable crater with his landing.

The Fight with Rage
August and Mary would hear the sound of something, something big appearing right outside their protective earth dome. Alicia parked the Gaoh-Liner outside, jumping out and taking a moment to catch her breath, hoping all this running wouldn't make the baby a crazy Avatar addicted to adventure. She stopped right besides the earth dome, which would allow August (if he was awake) to hear the sounds of her familiar heartbeat- and of the baby inside her. John would also be able to hear the sounds of the Gaoh-Liner.

Outside Gotham Bank
Anno hadn't expected that, but very suddenly she felt a huge hand collide with her chestplate, and felt herself sailing through the air. It felt like being hit with a sledgehammer, pain reverberating through her body. But... nothing had broken.
Not even when she hit the ground and rolled over several times, there was pain, but... she had the endurance and durability of a Servant. Not just any Servant, Saber. And despite the pain wracking her body, she still had the skills of that Servant. So the huge grey crystal... thing had hit her. She could take it. She just needed to get up.
A cloud of dust was thrown up as Anno adjusted her position, and pushed off the ground, gripping Excalibur. Taking only a moment to catch her breath, she caught sight of the cloud of dust that the beast's jump down from a nearby building had thrown up. If she was fast... it would never see her coming.
Anno shot forward. Excalibur was held at the ready, prepared to make a horizontal slash right as she entered the dust cloud.

Achilles met the former Falkon-turned Dire-bear with a charge of his own and soon the two were locked in a struggle of teeth and claws. sparks flew off of the giant metal honey badger's hide as the bear monster struggled to grip him, chips of metal and white hot sparks went flying off in all directions as the huge monster's teeth chomped down again and again, eliciting roars of pain from the elemental beast.
Achilles was slowly being worn down, not daring to strike back but only holding the immense creature at bay with his own claws, searching for a single opening to strike. Again and again metal screeched against razor sharp claws and cries of barely supressed pain were choked out of the badger. Finally though, he found what he was searching for, an opening at the artery of life on the bear's neck. He dropped his claws off of his attacker and lunged, betting the outcome of the fight on a single attack.
The angel's hide was tough and his teeth and claws were strong, but then again Achilles was still the very essence of a blade.
August jolted awake as Achilles returned to incorporeal form, though he couldn't tell whether his partner had been beaten yet. He pulled out a sword to cut a doorway through the rock, grinning and hugging onto Alicia's leg as soon as he saw her.
"So umm...did we win against the monster-man?"

Seeing Moerin get instant counter attacked without even time to make so much as a kitty expletive reminded Joe why he was taking most of his actions by proxy... Well, aside from the fact the average Lantern course of action was just that.
Joe asked Pleasure "So, do you talk? Or are you just another damage sponge boss?" The Newb Lantern noticed the Ice Mage's landing, but figured at the rate things were going it was better to keep Pleasure's attention away from the stumbling girl.
The bones spears easily pierce several hastily thrown up shields, Joe knocked around if avoiding impalement as more disc shields are thrown up and still pierced through the middle, the Newb lantern crashing through one of the few unbroken windows of the Bank Police Station after a good dozen failed shields, like Washers threaded along bone bolts.
It was around this point the 'failed' shields hurtled down the length of the bone spears towards their point of origin. In hindsight, Joe should really just skip to hosing the area with a wave of acid or something. But that would be boring, and kind of be a huge leap from 'Doesn't want to kill sentients' straight into 'Murder them as hard as possible'. He'd need like, at LEAST two more posts before going straight to murder attempts.

Achilles' strike to the throat failed, but it certainly didn't fail to hurt Rage. A defensive block drove the Metallic Honey Badger's claws further down on the bear's body, leaving a deep, heavily bleeding gash on it's chest.
Rage let out a roar of pain, backing off. Slower then before, Rage transformed back into a Worgen, still bleeding heavily from the chest and hip.
"Bad move, badger." Rage hissed, as his claws began to glow red.
A big, fiery orb appeared in the sky above Achilles, and a few seconds later, a powerful beam of magic was sent at Achilles from it, burning Achilles, and the part of the building beneath him, to a crisp.
Relaxing, Rage attempted to heal himself.
Nothing.
Frantically, Rage tried again. And again. And again. Something was wrong. His magic wasn't working.
Rage sat down, attempting to figure out what was wrong. A part of him, somewhere in the recesses of it's brain, had an idea of the reason, but in the end, it didn't matter. Soon, Rage got up, his body changing back into the form of a fifteen year old boy, and he stumbled towards the edge of the building.
"ENEMIES OF GOD!" Rage called, holding his hands above his head, "The Master... Wishes to congratulate you for the successful defeat of F-Falkonerie... Svenland, Second Angel of the Seven..."
And, with that unfinished speech, Falkon's original body fell off the roof, lifeless.

Ciarán, fortunately, wasn't hit by the water tower. That wasn't to say he wasn't hit by the water, which sent him tumbling down the road, until he hit a tree.

April took her time in selecting a second volley. After all, with the way he'd avoided the first one, simple swordspam wouldn't do. Instead, the weapons she produced were all, in one way or another, designed to hit someone intangible. One hammer did just that: hit something not there. Another was the sword that froze anything around its blade, which would include something intangible. The third was that prana-draining blade that didn't actually cut, just drained energy when it passed through you.
And all of them were fired at high speed, straight at Amazo.
Police station
Rain was rather tardy in arriving, which lead to her seeing a friend get blasted through a wall. Whilst that alone wouldn't have been enough to turn Mad Enhancement on, the knowledge that Meowrin was pretty strong in and of herself... yeah, she wasn't going to stick to playing nice. Full power from the start; thinking and speech could wait until later.
A helmet materialised over her head, hiding Rain entirely from view. Then the shadows sprang into existence, completely hiding her identity and making it extremely difficult to pinpoint the exact size and shape of her body. Then... she charged, both hands grasping her blade and making a blinding slash for the amalgamation's back. If it had been human, it would have been cut in two with no time to react.
They were not, however, human.

As Pleasure noticed the discs moving down her weaponized skeleton, the effected bones were simply dropped, falling to the ground with a... Falling bone sound. The un-compromised bones were drawn closer to Pleasure, and raised her up to Joe's level. The skeleton began to blur, as an illusion covered everything but the bones raising her into the sky. "I'm much much more then a damage sponge, Sexy. The name's Pleasure, Archangel of Masjora, the Multiversal God." She said, "How about you?" |

The jet thruster in the back of Jenny's suit fired, carrying her up through the hole. As soon as she landed she ran to where her sister had landed, swapping out one of the switches on her belt, flipping it to the ON position.
"Medical... ON."
As she ran, a large yellow box appeared over her left arm.
"Hey, it's OK. Help's here."

What happened? Moerin felt like she'd been hit by a truck. There was no way... She was supposed to be strong now. Something like this... This shouldn't have...
"I... I'm f-fine..." she stuttered, nodding weakly at Jenny and Nightwing. "I... I just n-needed to... To w-w-warm up fir-"
There are few things that will cut off someone's speech quite like a bonespike erupting from the ground beneath and skewering them right through the gut. Pain wracked the catgirl's body as she doubled over, hacking and spluttering out blood.

"No effect!? I need a bigger sword!" Jolokia exclaimed as her blades passed through Amazo. But it wasn't an exclamation of panic; far from it, there was nothing but joy in her voice, the joy of finding a strong opponent to face. It was just like Mister Val, really; here was someone who could stand up to the full, unrestrained force of a master of Zodiac Kenshido. The fact that he'd taken Knight's attack so easily showed that he was no normal opponent.
"Zodiac Kenshido... Raging Ox Form!" The wind that rushed by her as she kicked off into a charge swept her hair back, and it fluttered gracefully as she became little more than a green and red blur rocketing towards the android. With a single sweep of her swords, she deflected the spikes of light fired at her, her swordsmanship so precise that most of them ricocheted off towards Amazo himself. She'd hoped that the others would keep him distracted whilst she continued her charge, her swords poised to slice through the android like butter.
Anise - Gotham City, Bank
"Anno!" At least the small knight seemed fine, but... That monster wasn't as strong as it looked. No, its strength far surpassed its appearance. There was no way... There was no way Anno could defeat it on her own.
"...Guess there's no choice..." The sorceress ran closer to the raging beast, trying to keep as much distance between it and her as possible whilst still getting close enough to get a good shot at it. Slamming her staff into the ground, she began to chant...
"Source of all power, light which burns beyond crimson... Let thy power gather in my hand! GIGA FIRE!"
Anise pointed the end of her staff directly towards Doomsday, and a giant ball of flame burst from the tip, hurtling towards the deranged monster. It was a powerful spell, yes, but... It wasn't intended to hurt him. If it did, that was a plus, but all she wanted to do was distract him long enough for Anno's attack to reach him. That sword of her's... Master had told her about it. The Sword of Promised Victory... A crystallized miracle formed from the prayer known as glory... The power that radiated from it even whilst dorment let her know full well that master's glowing description of it was not an exagerration. If anything could fell that beast, it was that sword.
...Of course, if that failed to do the trick, she still had more than enough MP to unleash magical Armageddon upon the monster. The only problem with that was that she was sure she'd get in trouble for wiping such a large city off the map.

Jenny pulled the Rocket switch from her belt, slotting in another one to replace it.
"Chainsaw... ON."
A large blue chainsaw materialised in place of her right hand.
"OK, hold still, and this shouldn't hurt anymore than it already does, all right sis?"
Without waiting for an answer she revved up the saw and started to cut through the bone spike about six inches below where it had entered.

The kick dislodged parts of the bomb in Kame Bazooka, and thus, when he finally exploded, he didn't go in a big explosion, but rather something akin to a cherry bomb. It caused a burst in the pipes, causing steam to get out. This caused Doktor G to limp out of the sewers in one piece.
The Caitsith Phantom was soon trapped inside the stone.
Dr. Maki then thought of a good idea... Why didn't he thought of this before?
"Very well... I shall give up." Dr. Maki said as he called off the Neo Shadows. "I'll let you in on the first secret: We are in between worlds right now... A Corridor of Darkness, they called it. All I have to do is bring up a portal, and I can take you straight to Daishuryou for a sneak attack." Dr. Maki said, smirking underneath his helmet. "And once you're in his grasps..." He thought.

Joe might have been knocked out of view of the general carnage, but the construct of himself had witnessed Meorin's impalement. He didn't even know who the Catgirl was, just that she had wanted to help and had suffered for it.
"Just a guy from Detroit. One who has watched too many Looney Tunes." Joe was sitting at a half broken desk, watching a Newton's Cradle swing back and forth.
An anvil the size of a Mac truck Cab completely average Anvil appeared in the air above Pleasure, hanging Wile E Coyote style for a moment before dropping.

August frowned as he saw the charred and burned out section of building where Achilles had been fighting earlier, felt the diminished state his elemental partner was in and eventually put two-and-two together. Surprisingly, he didn't immediately start panicking at his inability to make use of his powers, instead just leaning more against Alicia's leg.
"Hmm...so the monster-man and Achilles beat each other, huh? I guess that's okay, he'll come back when he feels better I think." His face suddenly brightened up "Oh! I almost forgot, but those people with the really really really nice swords came out of that big spaceship and i'm pretty sure they're fighting...something anyway since a lot of magic is happening. Oh, and there's a man made of metal fighting by the docks too, but his metal keeps changing around all the time so it's kinda confusing."
He went back to a sad expression again, mainly because he wouldn't be able to fight as much with Achilles so beaten up, which probably meant he wouldn't get a chance to take a good look at the swords either.

As the Phantom was covered in stone, Hawkeye approached Magi and the Elric brothers, nodding towards the portal. "The Colonel went down there to follow the enemy. Let's go." She said, before looking at Magi and raising an eyebrow. "Do you need something to protect yourself with?"
"Are you alright, brother?" Alphonse asked, running over to his brother to make sure everything was fine.

As Fuu's wounds disappeared, Lan Fan pretty much stared at Sam, the fact she was wearing a mask not revealing if it was an angry or surprised stare. However, she never got a chance to thank the waterbender, as the explosion emitted a deafening sound and covered the entire area they were in in smoke. Sam could hear the sounds of both Lin and Lan Fan standing up.
Ty Lee was genuinely surprised by the explosion, the sound and surprise sending her stumbling the back. "Falkon!" she yelled, covering her mouth. "Falkon, are you alright?!"

The Fight with Rage
Alicia was surprised to see August coming out of the earth dome, but she quickly forgot all about it when he said monster. Doing her job, she knelt besides him, hugging him and making sure everything was fine. "Are you hurt, August? Did anything happen to you in there?"
As she saw Falkon's body falling off the roof, Alicia gasped. "Spirits!" she yelled, holding onto August's hand as she ran over to the ledge. "John! Are you alright? What just happened?!"

Composite Superman at the Police Station
"Crap!" Nightwing yelled. He began to search his body for a piece of cloth, eventually deciding to roll up the sleeve of his uniform, ripping off piece of the shirt he was wearing under it. He quickly got to work on covering the other wounds in Moerin's body, a hand on where the bone had entered. "Don't talk." He said to her, glancing at Jenny as she successfully cut out the bone. "Be happy I'm not asking how you know my identity." He said, this time to smirk, trying to calm her down with some playfulness.
Composite Superman did spot Rain- thanks to his super senses, he spotted her once she arrived- which allowed him to see her coming straight at her. His reaction was to roar and then to suddenly disappear. The composite being hadn't disappeared, no, he simply had turned invisible and shrinked, allowing him to easily dodged Rain's attack by sidestepping and then being swept off his feet by the wind produced by the incredibly fast girl. There was the sound of something being stretched, and he re-appeared far away from Rain, back to his normal size and back to being invisible.
The composite being didn't stop there: he could also spot Grey's attack due to the fact that said attack wasn't easy to miss. He held his hand out, a small orange spot appearing in the center of his hand, before it expanded into a powerful heat wave, melting the ice spikes midway through. Very angry due to the fact he had to focus on more than one enemy, Composite Superman began to shake and ripple... and soon, three Composite Supermans stood in a line.
The first one went to attack Rain, collecting quite a bunch of metal spread around her, transforming them into shap iron spikes and then sending them at high speed towards her, all from a safe distance. The second one went after Grey: noticing that her attack was ice-based, he raised his hands up in the air, stretching them and making them very big. Both hands appeared to get hotter and hotter, and then Composite Superman brought them down, attempting to squash Grey with them. The third one turned invisible, disappearing in the destruction.

Amazo at the Docks
Three swords, light rays, and someone charging something. Amazo wasn't stupid. He knew there was something up with what Jolokia was doing, and he knew that April wasn't stupid enough to just throw two more swords. Still using Lightray's powers, Amazo ran. However, Lightray wasn't like the Flash, so when the three swords reached up with their destination, Amazo was long gone.
Lightray, unlike the Flash, could run at the speed of light. So it was no surprise how it looked like he instantly teleported from spot A to spot B, which was right behind Jolokia. He held out his hand, saying one simple word. "Orion." And just like with Knight, a powerful force field expanded from his hand, going in Jolokia's direction. There was some distance between her and Amazo, but the force field would still be quite... painful.
Until what looked like a semi-circle made of concrete covered Jolokia and moving her far away from the force field's grasp, leaving her right next to Toph and Knight. "No need to thank me." She said with a grin. "That thing... he has no heartbeat, and he can copy your powers. So, don't let it touch you." Amazo turned around to face the trio, and actually smiled. "Maxima." he said, a powerful purple beam coming out of his head and going towards the trio, producing a deafening sound as it traveled through the air at the same speed as the swords April throw.

Doomsday at the Bank
Doomsday did get distracted by the fireball, but he didn't care a thing about it. He instinctively jumped backwards to dodge it, but what he didn't see coming was Anno's attack: a horizontal slash. While the attack didn't do much damage, it did do some kind of damage, as Doomsday roared, covering his head with one hand, parts of his body now having a cut.
Anno got to see another one of Doomsday's powers: an incredibly fast healing factor. As the cut disappeared, Doomsday, now very pissed off at the fact that his face had been slashed by a little girl, attempted to punch Anno. Not just any punch: a sideways punch that would send her flying right into Anise.
Due to the unpredictability and the sheer anger of said punch (which somehow made it faster), there was a chance that Anno could not dodge it, but Doomsday didn't even care: he just wanted to hit something. So if Anno managed to dodge the punch, he would immediately begin to punch the ground, causing strong short quakes- powerful enough to make anyone nearby lose their balance and fall down.

"Daishuryou, I have come back from my mission..." Dr. Maki said.

Police Station
"..." Exhaling and barely holding onto her thoughts as she took in Meowrin being punctured, Grey felt what the core in her chest growing turbulent. For the first time since she changed, the girl felt genuine fury. Anger and wrath burned a course through her blood, bringing glowing blue lines back to the fore of her frame.
Rushing forward into the fiery clone, the mage used her rage as a trigger to engineer events that would hopefully bring about damage to the damn thing. The soles of her feet now grinding on a quickly growing nearly horizontal railing of ice, the girl dramatically increased her now explosive burst of motion. "Son of a-" Finally letting her anger out into the world in an increasingly dirty string of profanity that most people wouldn't believe was possible for the girl, Grey encased her hands with the hardest layers of ice she could construct at the moment, wickedly edged gauntlets with serrated edges built into the knuckles.
Continuing her stream of foul words, the venting Grey unconsciously tapped into her other core of power- the sleeping Tales Monk class. Throwing a vicious right hook followed by a left uppercut, the berserk magician performed her first Strike Arte. The strike itself was worrying since it served as a conduit of explosive mana transfer into the opponent, attacking them from within upon contact with body rather than attempt to attack them with brute force. In the wake of the speeding girl, her wreathe of manifold weaponry layed at rest, forgotten.

Gotham Bank
Anno had gotten through, managing to deal some damage. It wasn't much, but it was a clear sign that she could definitely hurt this thing. She would've thanked Anise, but the sight of the cut rapidly healing quickly stopped her. So... it could heal. Alright, Anno knew about things that could heal that quickly. There were ways to get around tha-
That punch was really quite fast. However, this time, Anno wasn't going to take it. In a flash, she swung Excalibur up, angling the flat of the blade to take the blow. Saber could counter Servants with A-rank strength, and given that Anno had her abilities... well, she trusted that she could block this just as well.
Indeed, the fist hit the flat of Excalibur with a resounding clang, and the force of the strike caused Anno to slide back on the pavement. But the fist hadn't gotten through. The moment the creature moved again, Anno would get out of the way and attempt to preform a more damaging strike. Either she'd manage something lethal, and it would be dead, or it would heal and she'd get a better idea of how good its healing abilities was.
It was... strange. In this fight, she was... confident... But it was still dangerous. She had to be on her toes.
