Rain, Gotham Police Station Bank
The spikes were a threat, that was clear, but the person they were attempting to impale just surged forwards to something rather saggy looking she could see ahead, the concrete glancing off the back of her shoulders.
The attempt to kick Rain aside failed rather spectacularly as the police station exploded, a shadowy shape rising out of it and into the air. Wreathed in the same spectral fog as Rain herself, the police airship was nigh unrecognisable and the sole explanation for how it could have inflated so suddenly was a speck standing perched atop it, spikes from her armour latched into the airship's skin.
For some reason, she had something in her hands, too.
As it rose high into the air, the roaring of the turbines at its rear getting louder and louder, cables intended to be used for mooring the craft lashed out to try and wrap around Composite Superman, to hold him still for whatever else people decided to do with him. Like unleash a hail of tommygun fire and a seemingly endless stream of bazookas. Small arms fire might not have been any use with his bulk, and handheld rocket launchers little more, but supercharged they might have some sort of effect. Like being disorienting; they were consistently aimed for his face.
April, Gotham Harbour
"Plans? No, except for maybe 'blast him with a sword that can destroy a planet," April answered, shrugging and handing over Ea in order to put the gauntlets on. She didn't appear to realise just how heavy the drill-sword was; a weapon made of solid gold (or any other normal material) would have been noticeably lighter. It wasn't something you wanted to drop on your feet if you wanted to keep feet.
"Failing that, I'll try out every weapon I can think of."

Flanker
"R-Roy?!" Flanker's stomach lurched through a somersault, the Megaman forgetting to refer to the Brotherhood leader as 'sir' in his shock. He forced himself to avert his gaze from Griga, or the thing that was Griga, knowing that if he looked straight at the... abomination he would not be able to keep himself from vomiting in revulsion. It was almost a lost cause regardless as Flanker tried to stifle his emotions. Horror and anger threatened to choke out his reasoning. Focus on the mission. You can let it out once you have dealt with Daishuryou. He repeated the phrase in his head as though it might somehow make everything better, but, of course, it didn't.
They hadn't just harmed an ally. They had crippled a friend.
He was so caught up in his thoughts that he almost didn't notice the blades in time, and thus he only managed to avoid or block some of the shadowy projectiles, which cut into his flesh despite the protection afforded by his armour. Soaked in pain and growing more disoriented by the second, Flanker began to fall out of the air, transforming quickly into his Model Z form.
The teenager landed awkwardly at an angle, and hard to boot, eliciting a strangled gasp. It would take a while for his visor's advice to kick in, but he didn't need it. Reppuugeki would work just fine. "What did you do?!"
The words tore out of his throat in a roar. Flanker had, perhaps, fought determinedly during his journey. With confidence when he had learnt the ropes. But he had never fought with his emotions running high; or, at least, not until this point. His fear burnt away, only leaving fury.
Standing between the Mega Man and his grim fixation was Dr. Maki and the attacks sent his and Ling's way. He could barely hear anything now above the silent wave of blood howling in his ears and the noise of his armour's systems completing their starting sequence. The Mega Man got to his feet, slowly, and began to advance.
They will fall. No mercy will be shown. No hesitation. They are his nemeses. They could not feel pain, only use it as a weapon. They could not understand what drove Flanker onward - or, if they could, they did not care. The rage is lost on these abominations. The Mega Man had his target now. The Commander of Dai-Shocker's forces will fall. All the wreckage he must wade through to get there is insignificant.
He grew faster now. The drag became a walk became a sprint became a run. He didn't notice the cuts and gashes opening across his body thanks to Daishuryou's shadow blades, trickling livid red blood. The HUD finally displayed data on Daishuryou, but Flanker knew it would only prove a distraction. Before it could finish emitting the first warning klaxon through his headset he had shut it down, leaving only himself and the enemy ahead. He would have ripped his headset off too, if it wouldn't have slowed him down. A wayward shadow blade glanced off his visor, leaving a hairline crack down one side.
"DAISHURYOU!" he yelled, the boosters in his feet working overtime in an attempt to accelerate Flanker to the highest speed they could manage. He thrust his Z Saber in front of himself, a shockwave forming at its' tip as Flanker tried to impale Daishuryou with it. Not once did his eyes waver from Daishuryou's own.
He would kill Daishuryou and Dr. Maki or die in the attempt.
Elpizo, Gotham Bank
Panicking slightly as he saw the tornado coming towards him - he could only react so quickly - Elpizo flinched... and subconsciously switched places with his shadow, which warped and distorted slightly as the tornado passed through it. Impossible... the reploid thought to himself. It seems that I've barely scratched the surface of what I can do now.
Although he was fairly certain it was an insane idea, Elpizo commanded his shadow to try to grab Joseph's shadow in an attempt to somehow anchor him to the spot via his shadow. He wasn't expecting success, but anything was better than nothing, and he needed to find a way to neutralise his opponent's speed advantage.

Dr. Maki kept parrying the slashes and punches from Nicholas and Murray respectively.
The Chi-blocks barely affected Doktor G, due to the fact that his lasers were more technology based rather than chi based. Doktor G, on the other hand, tried to fire a laser at Ty Lee, but was impaled just at that moment by Sam. It jammed the area where the laser would shoot out, and thus, it caused a massive overload. Followed closely by the fact that, while the blocks didn't affect Doktor G at all, it did leave behind knots in his circuitry that really messed up his day.
"ONOREEEEEEEEEEE!" Doktor G said before he blew up.

Taking the glowing weapon in his left hand (and instantly steadying it with his right, MagiPhone half-pinned in between palm and handle), Knight coerced the drill-sword into a vaguely upright position, noting its strange balance and surprising heft with some interest. This weapon... even with his limited experience, he could tell that it was far older and much more powerful than any other blade he had ever handled.
He had the feeling that he would not be able to wield this weapon. It would not let him. If she could, however (which she probably could, without a doubt, given what she had just said) ... then their chances of survival had just improved dramatically.
Passing Ea back to April, the youth paused for a moment, before looking directly at her. "Do you need my assistance?"
He held up his right hand. "This may not stop him, but I should be able to conjure something that can slow him down." It was unclear as to which he was referring to, the strange glove or the golden phone - but perhaps it didn't really matter.

August blinked up at Alicia, very confused since he hadn't really thought very much of it.
"U-umm...Uh-huh, I guess I did. That was okay, right? 'cause I know he said I was supposed to call you "John and Alicia" but I wanted to call him that a lot n' he said "two kids" earlier so...so I thought it'd be okay." August suddenly hugged onto Alicia and leaned his head against her side, forgetting that they were supposed to be getting down from the roof.
"I'm...I'm really really glad it makes you happy. I don't think I've ever had a really happy family before. Th-they always used to smile on the outside, but I think inside they were really sad and scared and angry all the time." Now he suddenly found himself crying, not having his full power available to block out his emotions like he usually did. He wasn't sure if it was alright to feel that way about his previous family and his new one. It almost felt like a betrayal.
After a minute he stopped crying long enough to notice something. "...You're really warm...I only ever got hugged by parents that weren't lizards a couple times...It feels...nice." Kios' last instructions were still bouncing around in his mind:
I want you to go to a safe place...
Well, right now August had never felt more safe.

Police Station
As Joe behan to fire the laser Gatling gun, a shield of the more damaged bones covered Pleasure's main skeleton, and the spider-leg bones began to target Joe specifically, turning away from Fusion.
Amestris Underground
Falkon dodged the lasers, and continued towards Doktor G.
And then the transmutation happened, and Falkon discovered that he hadn't seen it all yet.
As nausea rolled through his body, Falkon stopped, planting his hands on his knees.
It's probably best not to mention the inside of the power armor.
Time Train. Probably.
Mary sat down, and began to look through the loot some more, probably picking out gear.
"So, you think this Greed guy'll be as easy for Tattoo to absorb as the other ones?" Mary asked, "I saw a couple of them. Really stupid, if you ask me."
Experimentally, she put on the black armband, and poked the blue button. In a few seconds, she was in Falkon's Black Knight armor, albeit shaped to fit a pregnant Alicia.
"Fancy!" she said, examining her flexibility in the armor.

John leaned down to pick up August and give him a hug of his own with a wide smile.
"I promise August, when this is over your mother and I are taking you to Disney World."
He handed August to Alicia, giving his wife one more kiss before turning to Mary.
"Right. Let's stop us a monster."
Murray, meanwhile, was now wearing a rainbow colored cape and chestplate, as the green began to flash.
"SPARK CHASER!"
Several lasers, one for each color of the rainbow, began to chase Maki and Daishoryou- three for the dinosaur man, and four for the leader of Dai-Shocker. The robot then began tossing bombs at Maki as well.
"BALLADE CRACKER!"

Moerin - Gotham City, Police Bank
Why... Why isn't it working? Even as the hole in her chest was sealed, Moerin just lay there almost lifelessly, staring up at the heavens. I... I just want... Just want to help them... W-why...?
Ugh, I've almost had enough of your idiocy, you... Look, you're still holding on to your humanity, imbecile, when that's my job now! You... You're still referring to yourself as Moerin, for crying out loud!
The catgirl could feel her heartbeat suddenly increase, and the heat around her began to grow and grow... And yet to those around her it still felt like a pleasant warmth, like a beautiful Spring morning, even as some of the rubble surrounding her began to melt.
"I... I'm... I am..." she began to mutter, as a fire began to flicker around her, cocooning her in bright red flames which, much like the heat, seemed to cause little effect to those around her. With a final burst, the flames spread out from her, and...
"I... I am... I'M THE UNSTOPPABLE OVERLORD MEOWRIN, THE BEAST OF EROS!" Gone was the frail, battered girl that once lay helpless in the arms of others. Where she once was now stood a woman whose wild red hair evoked images of wildfire, whose catlike yellow eyes shone brightly with unshakable confidence. Her single pink tail was now nine red ones, and her body was covered in strange, tribal markings.
She was also completely naked, as the fire had burned all her clothes off. Thankfully, flames seemed to be covering up her naughty bits, preserving her dignity.
"Oraoraora! Let's do this!" She yelled, thrusting a fist into the air and somehow causing a miniature explosion. Her other arm quickly wrapped around Jenny's shoulders. "Little sis! You're a Kamen Rider, right? So that means you know that Rider Kick, right? Ever heard of the Inazuma Double Kick? It'd be just perfect to take down a giant ugly freak like that!"
It might be rather abrupt to finish off a giant monster so quickly, but... If only she hadn't been awakened to this power so soon. If she'd had time to master it, maybe she wouldn't be burning through it so quickly. She was well aware that she really only had enough time and power right now to hit with one big attack, so she wanted to make sure it counted. And besides, didn't they always take out the big monsters in those old super robot crossovers with one big combination attack?
Jolokia - Gotham City, Docks
"Hey, hey!" The Kensei yelled at Knight. Yes, it was clear that for once, she was actually angry at someone. "No fair messing with him! There's no fun in fighting a-" Without even turning back to look at Amazo, she raised Save The Queen just in time to deflect the laser. "-Weak opponent!"
To say her skills were instinctual would be to do them a disservice. To say she could conduct a swordfight blindfolded would be an understatement. Was it because her mind was so empty, that she could fill it with such mastery of the blade? In some ways, it could be argued that Jolokia had long ago achieved a state of Zen; she and her sword were one and the same.
Steel is my body, and fire is my blood.
She wasn't going to hold back. With a yell, she charged straight for the android. Her swords flew through the air so quickly that they seemed to become little more than a blur of steel; in the span of a single second she could easily strike Amazo ten times.
"Don't bother with the others, strong guy!" Was that a giggle? "I'm your opponent here!"
Anise - Gotham City, Bank
Since it looked like the self-proclaimed Dai-Shocker General was more than occupied by the speeding blur facing him, Anise decided not to just cast Meteor on him for the time being and focus on her main objective; that being protecting and assisting Anno.
"My guardian Jupiter... Brew a storm, call the clouds, bring down the lightning! THUNDAGA!" With a mighty crack, a massive bolt of lightning blasted into Doomsday's side. Hoping that she'd at least distracted the beast, the Tsundere Sorceress ran to Anno's side. "Hurry up! If you're going to use that, you'd better use it soon! Just... Get him to the top of that building or something first so you don't wreck half the city!" Frantically, Anise waved her staff at the bank.

"Well, I haven't heard of an attack like that, but I can guess what it involves." Jenny giggled quietly, flipped the Medical Switch back to the "Off" position, and returning the Rocket Switch to its place on her belt, dismissing the Chainsaw Switch.
"Rocket... ON."
The big orange rocket materialised over her right arm again.
"Ready?"

Grey- Gotham City Police Station
The glare. It was sudden and overwhelming, immediately searing her vision with its splendor. Blinking her watering eyes for a few moments, they then widened as she took in its source. It was a naked flaming Meowrin. If it weren't for the fact she was rather engaged in a battle and damaged, she would have released the familiar fog scene.
"She's up..." Smiling in relief, the girl knelt down on the concrete ground. "That's good..." Pouring the last of her current supply of magic into a layer of permafrost, the girl attempted to ensnare the giant being with magic frost- hopefully holding the giant down for whatever Moe was planning.

Mission accomplished!... Well darn. 'Great, now she's paying attention to me properly in the try-to-murder-my-face sense.' Joe thought to himself Speaking of which, a narrow dodge resulted in a chunk of helmet lost and a cut across his forehead...
'The hell, that construct should be tougher tha-oooooh dear.' As much fun as Joe had been having with the benefits of Constructs not being limited by what they copy, now was an unpleasant reminder. Constructs only remained as good as their basis if you gave half a shit. It would explain why Lanterns preferred active barrier over passive protection, you don't pay attention to something you are wearing.
Well then, easy enough solution. Run like a sissy... Which would mean Pleasure would just turn right back around to stab Fusion... Or notice the Hot Girl (hmm, bad wording there) preparing to attempt a finishing move on this bony slut.
"Stupid conscience, always dragging me down." Joe muttered, as he summoned a ridiculous six sided Beam Katana Travis Touchdown style (It probably fit his maturity level more than a proper lightsaber) "I am taking as many of your legs with me before I go down lady."

The Rooftops of Gotham
Alicia stared at August in disbelief, even as she finished making a tunnel for them to get into a safe position. Once August made the "you're warm" comment, Alicia couldn't hold back the urge to just... hug the boy. And that's what she did. And just like August, she was also crying. However, she was crying even more, like there was something more to her tears.
"I-I'm sorry." She said, sobbing, as she slumped down to the floor, sitting besides August, as John and Mary ran to where Greed was hiding. "I shouldn't b-be doing this. I'm supposed to be a mother. A strong figure i-in your life. But it's just... my life has changed so much in the past few months. I-I found so much in so little time. I-I found my love, I found my future... I found you. And to hear you call him father just makes me... just makes me realize how grateful I am for it."
"Especially for you, son." She said, getting to her knees and slowly caressing August's cheeks, wiping away his tears. "I never knew you would... be part of my family. Compared to now, the past worlds we visited seem like such a long time ago. And thank you, son." She grabbed his hand. "Thank you for staying with me. I know how important going after Masjora is to you, but you have just proven something to me by staying here. Thank you."
She let out a long sigh before standing up, stretching her arms. "Let's get to somewhere safe, right?" She said, jumping down the tunnel she created- a hole connecting the roof and the top floor of the building- and checking to see if the area is clear. "We can stay here for some time, until the coast's clear!" She yelled back to August, opening the doors one by one to see if there was anything inside.
-------------------------------------------
The Bank of Gotham City
Anise's attack did just that: distract Doomsday. The gigantic monster roared once more, the lightning bolt doing nothing at all to him but angering him even more. As Anno scanned the area for the tallest building around, Doomsday suddenly forgot all about her and focused only on Anise, picking up one of the cars that were parked around the area, throwing it in her direction.
As the sound of the car flying filled the air, Anno would soon spot the tallest building in the city. Standing high and proud above most of Gotham's skyline was a big tower with a W on the side: the Wayne Tower. The W was what could have attracted her attention: it was a neon-like sign, and it was still shining even with all the... well... doom going on at the streets. At this time, too, if anyone payed attention to the rest of Gotham's skyline, they would be able to see the top of Composite Superman's head just as an old style dirigible floated up into the air.
---------------------------------------------
Composite Superman at the Police Station
Nightwing stumbled back as Moe suddenly stood up, covered in fire. He covered his eyes for a moment, squinting them as he tried to figure out just what the hell was going on. When he was far away, and the flames weren't that strong, he got a chance to finally see it.
"... is she... naked?" was all he asked as he stood up, brushing the dust off his costume, and pulling out his eskrima sticks, before noticing they wouldn't do much compared to the giant Composite Superman in front of him. "This day has just gone from weird to outright insane." He said to no one in particular, before smirking to himself and throwing a couple of explosive "batarangs" at Composite Superman.
The giant being wasn't having that bad of a time. Grey's magic frost was freezing his legs, and the grunts coming from the giant copy of Superman and Batman confirmed he couldn't move. The cables from the airship wrapped around his hands (since he was trying to reach out for the airship), and the rockets plus the small arms fire were actually disorienting him. However, him being disoriented had a bad side: he kept trying to grab the airship, which meant he was shaking his arms like a madman. And since the cables connected to the airship were wrapped around these arms, it wouldn't be long until the airship lost stability.
----------------------------------------------------
Amazo at the Harbor
"Well, that's a good plan, isn't it?" Toph said, rolling her eyes. She crossed her arms, watching as Jolokia went after Amazo. The swordsman's boasts prompted a frown from Toph. "I think we should help her. Heartless could dodge your attacks without any problems, I doubt it'll be any different with her. Plus, the ones that need help always say they don't need help."
Amazo, however, was actually interested in Jolokia. Once she deflected his laser, he actually raised his eyebrow, walking towards her. "Lightray." he said, as Jolokia moved forward to attack, and with his hands behind his back, Amazo effortlessly dodged the slashes, at one point moving so fast, it looked like he wasn't moving at all. He snapped his fingers in the middle of one of Jolokia's slashes, and a blinding spark was emitted from his chest: this spark was like a very powerful flashbang, and it was right in front of Jolokia. Even if it didn't blind her, Amazo used this opportunity to sidestep, muttering "Black Canary" and quickly opening his mouth.
Once he opened his mouth, he quickly used the canary cry, an ultrasonic scream that could be faintly heard by the people fighting against Composite Superman inside the city, with the intent of disorienting Jolokia. Toph quickly blocked her ears, gritting her teeth. "What in the world is that?! It's... it's too loud!"
--------------------------------------------------------
Greed's Hideout
"Cut the crap and turn off that music."
Greed slumped down on the only sofa in his hideout: a strip club turned gang headquarters. It was designed with the weirdest combination of neons and party lights, giving the place a very unusual feeling, like you just stepped into a madhouse. There were no other seating apart from the sofa and a table (where a few of Greed's thugs were playing poker), and the only other thing in this room was a jukebox which was quickly turned off once the boss stepping inside. Glaring at the air conditioner on the wall, Greed sighed.
"So, how was it, boss?" One of his thugs asked.
Greed raised an eyebrow, rolling his eyes. "Painfully stupid." He said between gritted teeth, picking up a cigarette from the floor. "Cobblepot won't go into our territory for the rest of his life. In other words, another day in this awful and boring town." He looked down, muttering to himself. "Sometimes, I wish I could just blow this shitty place up."
And like an angel answering to his prayers, the wall in front of him, the one separating the headquarters and the outside world blew up (an explosion that would attract the attention of John and Mary, who were running after Greed), sending his thugs into the floor. After the dust settled down, the tuxedo-wearing figure of Masjora stepped inside, grinning. "You see, Masky? I told you explosives are fun."
"... alright." Greed asked as his thugs stood up, reaching for their firearms. "Who the fuck are you?"
"Doesn't really matters." Masjora replied. "Let's just say you'll get all your answers pretty soon."
"SHOOT THIS FUCKER!" yelled one of the thugs, and a shower of bullets was sent towards Masjora as every thug in the room shot at him, some using pistols, some using submachine guns, and one of them even using a revolver. Once most of the thugs ran out of bullets, a quick wave of red electricity regenerated all of Masjora's wounds, an event that made Greed raise his eyebrow.
"Right. My turn." Masjora said, snapping his fingers as tentacles sprouted from his back, some of them wrapping themselves around scared thugs and throwing them away. He raised both of his hands, his fingernails extending into long spikes that impaled several thugs on the spot. Greed, however, didn't stand up, even as his entire gang was being wiped out in seconds.
"So, regeneration, and Lust's abilities?" He asked, grinning. "Alright, you got my interest." He stood up, removing his jacket and cracking his knuckles as his entire body turned into steel. "Come on. Show me you're more than just an effeminate man in a tuxedo."
"Masky?" Masjora asked nobody in particular as his fingernails turned back to normal and the tentacles returned to their normal place. "He's all yours." He said, grinning, and letting Majora take control of the body once more.
-----------------------------------------------------
Amestris Underground
Ty Lee didn't even care for the fact they had defeated Doctor G. Once she saw Falkon planting his hands on his knees, she ran up to him, removing his helmet before he could do drown on his own vomit. "I'm here." She said, throwing the helmet away and placing her hands on his back, waiting for him to finish.
"Fullmetal," Roy said, one of his hands holding onto Hawkeye's shoulder. He slowly regained his normal expression, even with the gray eyes. "Forget about me. You've got more important things to care about." He then pointed over to where Daishuryou was (or at least, where he thinks he was). "Attack him. Help the others. We'll deal with my problem later."
"Colonel--" Alphonse said, but Roy interrupted him, gritting his teeth.
"Just go!" He yelled. "I'll be fine." He added, after a brief moment of silence.
Daishuryou wasn't doing very well, too. He had slowly been losing control of his body, feeling the real Daishuryou taking control of it once more. "No... I'm not done!"[/color] He yelled, noticing Flanker's attack towards him. In one last move before losing total control of the body, Daishuryou sidestep, jumping far away, attempting to dodge both Flanker and Murray's attack. He didn't land with grace, no, he landed on his knees, groaning, as he lost total control of his body.
Ling, however, was too busy to even react to what just happened. He had been attacking Maki for the past few minutes, and once seeing what happened to Griga, he gritted his teeth, allowing for everyone else to get a proper look at his eyes (they seemed like they were always in that line-y state) before he rushed towards Maki, attempting to slash him multiple times.

Out of the two buildings, the huge tower seemed to be the tallest. The one with the big W. That meant there was less of a chance of collateral damage... Now the only problem was getting the monster to focus on her once more, and stopping Anise from getting hit by the car. Anise had bought her a little time to spot a nice, tall building, but now having the creature's attention on her was no longer a good thing.
The car was easy enough to take care of. Anno called upon Invisible Air, the invisible magecraft that enabled the original user of these powers to hide her sword from view. It could also be used in several other ways... like a projectile, for example. Swinging Excalibur, Anno sent a burst of Invisible Air crashing into the car, which tumbled off to the side in ruin. Then, adjusting her aim, she sent another burst directly at the monster. This probably wouldn't do any damage, but it was sure to get his attention back on her.
In the event that she was sure he had forgotten all about Anise, Anno put on a burst of speed, making a beeline for the huge tower. It didn't take her long to get there, and the moment she reached the tower she didn't so much as slow down. She put one foot on the base of the building, and went up. The wind whipped past her, as Anno scaled the building by running clear up the side. It was a strange feeling, running up, but Anno did her best to ignore it. As long as the creature followed her up to the top, then she would be able to destroy him.

Joseph was a surprise by Elpizo's use of his shadow, so it seemed that both the robot and speedster were just full of surprises.
Elpizo's plan failed; in fact it failed so badly, that Joseph completely obvious to what the robot’s shadow was trying to do. Instead he spent time coming up with a new strategy. Joseph gathered up a few small stones in one hand, and then he charged aiming to hit Elpizo in the face with his bat, just like before.

The Exploded Police Station Rain continued to do exactly what she was doing without care for the shaking surface beneath her feet, simply adjusting her aim to continue throwing Composite Superman off (and to attempt to bore a hole into his skull through sheer repetition). The wonderful thing about an airship that wasn't headed in any particular direction was that no amount of being deflected was going to unduly distort it from its purpose. In this case, the cables ensured it stayed in the same area and the magically-provided buoyancy of the airship kept it away from any potentially damaging obstacles.
The Harbour "Shut up," April said, once again resting Ea on her shoulder and watching the fight, "Giving people help they need but don't want is selfish. Step in when they ask or failure's imminent. Not before."
Nevertheless, the air behind her shimmered and rank upon rank of ancient weapons pushed through from the King's Treasury to the mortal world, shining with an internal radiance that far eclipsed Gotham's shoddy lighting (seriously, street lamps, great invention). One, what appeared to be a golden machine gun crossbow thing, even dropped into Troy's hand.
"Careful, the bolts from that explode."

Maki also tried to dodge the rainbow lights, but Nicholas and Ling's consisting attacking on him made it difficult, even with his sword-fighting skills. He was soon knocked away by the lights, but he still got up. Nicholas, however, didn't want to have this guy just walk away. He lifted his shirt, revealing his chest and the Color Timer, then put the sluggers onto the Color Timer.
Daishuryou, meanwhile, got up, then looked around. "The Gate... There's supposed to be a gate! AN OPEN GATE!!!" Daishuryou said.

Accepting the gleaming weapon with a nod, Knight looked at the tangling fighters for a moment, handle of the crossbow-ish thing grasped firmly in his left hand - then he dropped the MagiPhone, letting the object disappear in a flash of white fire.
If he had been a more physical person, he might have shrugged. As things were, he simply waited.

Soon, Masjora's mouth curled into an evil grin, and the suit began to transform, until Masjora was only clothed in a pair of sweat pants, revealing even more of the intricate tattoos that covered it's body from head to toe.
"We thought we'd never ask, Seven!" Majora giggled.
Two long, sharp horns erupted from Masjora's head, sparking with electricity as they reached full size. It's eyes, already quite colorful, developed a neon tint, and an intricate formation of what was probably veins began to glow through Masjora's skin.
Masjora's right arm rapidly transformed into a long, whip-like tentacle, and a burst of the red sparks covered it's left arm, a shield mimicking the design of the original Majora's Mask appearing as the sparks faded away.
"Show us what you can do, Greedy!" Majora squealed, "We want to see if you're as valuable as we hear!"
Mary jumped at the sound of explosions outside of the train. "What was that?!" She said, standing up, "Think we should take a look?"
Joe would find himself facing a much smaller number of bones then before, and only four of the bony limbs were attempting to impale him.
The majority, having noticed the extremely noticeable airship, began to attack it, attempting to damage the ship by putting as many holes in the thing as possible.
Once Falkon finished expelling his most recent meal, he stood up, panting. "Thanks." he said to Ty Lee, "Hope that never happens again."
Turning towards Daishuryou, he grabbed his sword, and charged, the blade burning with holy fire.

Sasori! Kani! Ebi! SasasasoKaBi, SasasasoKaBi!
John nodded and looked out the door in his heavily armored form, dropping from the train as the cape that went with the armor billowed out behind him. His shoulders came down, forming into claws as he began looking over the wall for vulnerable points.
"Doors are for suckers, don't you agree?"

August went down into the tunnel after Alicia and started looking around at the different doors as she checked them. Going after Masjora was one of his tip-top super-important priorities, but he still didn't have his full powers back so if he went after the overly-powerful reality warping fusion-villain now, he knew he would probably just get in the way and wind up putting the others in some kind of compromising position.
Besides, he liked staying with Alicia a lot.
"Umm...are we waiting here 'till Daddy n' Mary beat the bad guys?"
If they were, he would have to begin planning an eventual sneaking away route. Eventually. He really did like staying with Alicia.

The Harbor
"Oh, yes." Toph said, rolling her eyes and crossing her arms. "Forgot I was talking to the Mistress of Strategy. Hey, do you have anything that can--" The blind girl stopped talking and was mildly startled by the white fire, jumping back for a moment. She realized no one else noticed it, and then just shrugged it off, giving Knight a nudge in the sides. "Oh, you with your tricks, Shining. Heh. No big deal anyway."

Gotham City Buildings
"It's the safe option." Alicia said, looking inside one of the buildings. "I am with child, and you're power--... you're still a kid, August. It's best if we don't interfere on their fight..."

Doomsday did exactly what Anno wanted. Giving up on his attack on Anise, the creature went back to having Anno as its target. The burst of Invisible Air did nothing to the creature but remind him that he hated that little girl. Like some sort of monkey, it followed Anno on all fours, and once it began climbing the building, it started to rip off parts of the Wayne Tower, sometimes piercing one floor with his hand and pulling out a string of desks and chairs to continue his climb.
----------------------------------------------
Greed's Hideout
As John found several vulnerable points (mostly made vulnerable my Masjora's invasion), Greed grinned.. "Sorry, but I'm not your little monkey... and I'm not following your stupid orders." He jumped back, kicking down one of the back doors and running into the street.

Amestris Underground
Alphonse took the chance to also attack Daishuryou, clapping his hands and transmuting a spike out of the ground, aiming it directly at Daishuryou. Ling, however, took a step back, waiting to see what Nicholas' Color Timer would do.

Gotham Bank
Anno reached the top of the roof shortly after she began to run up it. It had been a strange feeling, but... there clearly wasn't time to dwell on something like that. She glanced over the side of the building. Good, good, it was still following... Immediately, she sprinted across the roof to the opposite side. Now, all she had to do was wait...
The moment the monster got up there, she would be read. Anno gripped Excalibur's hilt tightly in both hands, and held it low, the point angled to her left. The Sword of Promised Victory began to glow. From the area around the building, small pinpoints of light began to rise from the ground. Anyone in the immediate area, if they weren't preoccupied, were bound to notice.
They were all gathering in one place.

Starting slightly at the elbow to the ribs, Knight looked over at the blind girl. A small, knowing smile crossed his face when he realized who it was. "That was one of the things I was going to tell you about," he said simply. "But we've rescheduled that, haven't we?"
"Stay sharp."
With that, he turned his attention back to the more pressing matter at hand - namely, Jolokia and Amazo. Bringing the barreled crossbow in his hands to his shoulder, he readied himself, testing the weight and working out the best way to handle the recoil if any presented itself. His senses, already supernaturally keen, were focused completely on the two tangling beings, noting every move, every strike with the utmost precision.
He had a feeling that he wouldn't get many chances to fire. He intended to make them count.

"RRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAH!" swung his Satan Saber to counter Falkon's slash. However, the spike impaled Daishuryou's armor. In pain he turned around and threw a sword at Alphonse. He knew he failed in this world... He couldn't afford to die in this world... He has an empire to rule! Daishuryou then got out his GPS and typed in several codes. Soon, a gray wall appeared as Daishuryou fell into it, leaving Maki behind.
Nicholas then fired a massive beam towards Maki. Maki tried to shield himself from the beams with his own wings.

August scuffed his foot against the floor and frowned. "I know my powers aren't working right now, you don't have to pretend it's not true..." Alicia was probably right that he'd just get in the way if he went to the fight as he was.
"Fine, I'll stay here with you and be good like I promised..."
But only until my powers come back.

Masjora's body drooped for a moment, disappointed by Greed's move.
"Most certainly!" Majora agreed with John, straightening, "Now, if you'll excuse us, we have some things we need to deal with. Race you to the criminal!"
And with that, Masjora vanished.
"Was I that annoying?!" Mary exclaimed, before chasing after Greed using fire-jets.
If Greed stopped at any point in his flight, he would likely find himself surrounded by Masjoras. Not Masjora, but Masjoras.
The Masjora directly in front was in Masjora's default sweat pants and tattoos form, a knife made of bone in each hand.
The Masjora directly behind him was rather similar, but instead of knives, three long, deadly sharp blades protruded from each forearm, ending a foot from it's fists.
The Masjora to Greed's left had two missiles in the place of it's arms, which it held up so that they pointed directly at him.
The Masjora to his right had it's arms crossed, and was flashing a horrible grin that revealed a mouth full of rainbow colored, sword-sharp teeth.
Inbetween them, the bodies of all the other Homunculi were strewn, one impaled on a spike, another gutted, another garroted, and so on.
"There's nowhere to run, Greedy." the Masjoras hissed in unison, "Accept your fate!"
"That was disappointing." Falkon said, before yelling "We should get Maki alive! Get his GPS before he can run, and incapacitate him!"

Gotham Streets
"I would love to." Greed said, grinning as his body was covered by the Ultimate Shield once more. "But giving up is just not my thing. Loved what you did to the others, though. They never looked more happier-" Before finishing his sentence, Greed jumped to his right, attempting to get behind the Masjora with the rainbow teeth. If successful, he would try to wrap his arm around his neck and use that Masjora as a shield. If not, he would try to grab him and throw him towards the nearest Masjora, possibly opening a way up for him to escape.

A Random House in Gotham
Alicia finally found a safe place to stay: a house which had been abandoned not long ago- the owners probably left it after hearing the news of supervillain attacks. She walked over to the fridge, motioning for August to sit down on the floor as she removed a pot of ice cream, grabbed two spoons from the cabinet and sat down right besides him with her legs crossed.
"August," she said, opening the pot of ice cream and giving him one spoon. "What is the one thing you've always wanted to do? Like, a dream, or an objective. Something we can work together for once this is all over."

The Wayne Tower
But Doomsday didn't show up on the opposite ledge of the tower. Instead, the building shook, as the creature jumped through the window, stomping its way through one of the floors. Instead of climbing the side of the building, it decided to climb its way through the middle of the building, destroying the pillars holding it up and opening a hole in the ceiling of every floor, until finally he appeared on the rooftop.
Instead of appearing on the opposite side, he was now in the middle of the roof, although this still gave Anno the space necessary to perform her attack. It seemed like Doomsday's shortcut only gave him one last chance to growl at the girl... except he grabbed the nearest object- a water container- raised it above his head and charged towards the girl, attempting to smash her with the container. The creature roared once more- and possibly for the last time...

Amestris Underground
"Got it!" Ty Lee yelled, leaving Falkon behind as she jumped towards Maki, landing near him. She ran towards her enemy, and attempted to chi-block one of his arms and one of his legs, which would disable him from running away without any problems. Ling attempted to help her by throwing his sword towards Maki, actually trying to distract him for Ty Lee's attack to work.
Alphonse easily dodged the sword, but he turned around, yelling "look out" as the sword was now going towards Hawkeye and Roy. Hawkeye slung the Colonel's arm around her neck and jumped out of the way, reaching for her pistol once they hit the ground. Roy, however, lazily stood up, his vacant stare focusing on Hawkeye's direction. "Don't worry," he said with a smile. "I got this idea from a friend."
He focused all of his attention on his ears, trying to hear the sounds of Ty Lee's footsteps, following their quick rhythmic beat until they stopped. Roy raised his hand, aiming it towards Maki, and snapped his fingers, sending a large jet of fire right towards his enemy.

Wayne Tower
Pinpoints of light arose all around the massive tower. They rose to the sky, to the top of the huge skyscraper. And there, they coiled. A great rush of air was released from the shimmering, golden blade known as Excalibur. For this weapon was no mere sword, it was a crystallization of the deeds of the Heroic Spirit Arturia Pendragon. In life, the weapon was a symbol of her rule. A powerful blade, crafted by fairies and given to her by the Lady of the Lake. While this version of the blade was not in the hands of the true wielder, it was no less powerful in the hands of the girl who had gained her abilities. Anno's grip tightened on the blade, as pinpoints of light coiled around it. She could feel it, the sheer power radiating off of the blade. For this was the Noble Phantasm Excalibur, the Sword of Promised Victory.
Even as the monster ripped its way through the roof, an act that would perhaps terrify many people, Anno was at ease. She could feel the sheer amount of power she now held in her hands... and her own fear was stifled entirely. Confidence, determination, courage, all these feelings overwrote any fear that may have lingered. For, while Excalibur was unquestionably a powerful sword, this was not is only function.
Time seemed to slow, to Anno, as the hulking monster grew ever closer to her. Perhaps it was fast to other observers, but to Anno it seemed to play out in slow motion. The bulk of the grey creature hurtling towards her, the beautiful golden glow of the holy sword Excalibur in her hands... all of it seemed to happen far more slowly then it actually was. Light curled and twisted around Excalibur, until the sword was completely encased in what could only be described as a sheath of light.
This monster, this beast that was utterly determined to kill her... Anno would end it now.
"Ex-..."
Time seemed to resume its normal pace as Anno swung the glowing sword up over her head, leaving a trail of light behind it for the briefest of seconds. The glow illuminated the rooftop, casting it in a golden glow. Light played off of the charging beast, too, displaying each of its vicious features in shocking clarity for the briefest of moments...
"-CALIBUUUUUR!"
Anno swung the blade down.
There was a rush of sound, light, and air. The light radiating from Excalibur suddenly was launched, the golden sheath of light leaving the blade and becoming a beam of radiant energy. It was an onrushing wave of destruction, a beam of utter annihilation. This was Excalibur's greatest attack, unleashing the full power of an A++ Noble Phantasm in a single destructive anti-fortress attack. The utter power unleashed could lay waste to entire armies in a single blow, leaving nothing behind. Buildings were nothing to its destructive might. Even the twisted god of another dimension could not withstand the power of the Sword of Promised Victory. The very molecules composing the air were utterly destroyed as the onrushing wave of prana tore towards its target. Her target would be annihilated, and for a moment the entirety of Gotham would be illuminated with the light of Excalibur.

Greed grabbed hold of the Masjora's neck with suspect ease, and it began to struggle, "attempting" to pull the Homunculus off in a way that stood no chance of succeeding.
Then, the other Masjoras began to laugh, and the one with missile arms stepped closer.
"Wrong move, Greedy."
At impressive speeds, tentacles erupted from the Masjora Greed was holding onto, rapidly attempting to wrap themselves around the Homunculus' limbs and torso. If they were successful, the Masjora would force itself and Greed to the ground, allowing easy access to the Homunculus' back.

And then Masjora was hit by a train.
Not the typical Gotham el-train though, but rather one made to resemble a crocodile. Which now resembled a crocodile with several shapeshifters plastered across its front, firing its laser into their backs.
John, meanwhile, had already created a few dozen clones of his own.
"I dunno, it distracted you for a bit."
