Joe wasn't sure if he should be thankful, or insulted. On the one hand, half of Pleasure's attention was being split on a Ridiculous Gun Porn Zepplin that Godzilla Edition Composite still somehow had not just grabbed out of the air like a hotdog and eaten.
On the other hand, it meant Pleasure would rather fight things she had no hope of doing a goddamned thing to than pay attention to Joe. A futile struggle against Rain was more interesting to the Homunculus than dealing with a Green Lantern, no matter how new to the job he was.
'There is not minding being a support role type guy... And then there is being completely irrelevant. One of these things is to my tastes. The other...' Well, the other would be described by some decidedly unpleasant language, some examples of which growled out as he backhanded Pleasure's strikes away from him.
The light of Excalibur lit up Gotham, casting a long shadow across Joe from the battling Composite and Dakkablimp. Nearly drowning out the glow of Joe's own as he rose high into the air, his construct forming instantly around him, settling into the cockpit laying behind the eye of the skull like head.
"Reactor, Online. Sensors, Online. Weapons, Online. All systems Online."
Joe had formed an Atlas Battlemech, and everything it had was pointing at Pleasure. "Just a toy, compared to my peers. But even a children's toy requires a warning label." Joe mashed down the Alpha Strike button. Large lasers, slightly less large lasers, Gauss Rifle rounds and an angry swam of rocket propelled explosives. Even the smallest beam or projectile larger than Pleasure's body. Quite a choking hazard, even if it was no deity slaying 'promised victory'. Or Time Train, or any number of things being used this very moment.
It would have to do as a start.

Meowrin - Gotham City, Police Bank
"Insane is my specialty, Dick!" The flaming catgirl smirked, her grin growing even wider as Jenny activated the Rocket Switch. "Alright little sis, let's do this! But first, um... Ahem..."
Meowrin loudly cleared her throat, before pointing straight at the giant Composite Superman. Whether he even noticed her or not (although the armoured airship accosting him probably didn't help), she bellowed a statement at him in the most overdramatic fashion possible:
"FOR THE WORLD, FOR THE PEOPLE, THE GREAT OVERLORD MEOWRIN WILL SMASH THE AMBITIONS OF COMPOSITE SUPERMAN! IF YOU DON'T FEAR THE SHINE OF THE SUN... THEN BRING IT ON!"
...And then fell into a fit of giggling. "Ahahah, oh, eheheh, I've always wanted to do that, eheheh~" Still somewhat hysterical, the fiery demon linked her right arm with Jenny's left, and braced herself to jump. As she did, the flames around her grew more and more intense, even though they still did no harm to her adopted little sister, and barely controlled crackles of electricity burst about her body. With a mighty thrust from her powerful legs, she took to the air as Jenny activated the rocket. "Meowrin JUUUMP! INAZUMAAAAA...!"
Jolokia - Gotham City, Docks
"H-hey! I'm sure I hit y-"
In her confusion as to why her strikes didn't hit Amazo, Jolokia almost didn't react in time to defend herself from the burst of light. Even then, she was only able to shield herself partially, leaving the kensei temporarily blinded in one eye. Despite this handicap, her fearsome assault continued unabated until the android let out a canary cry.
"N-nnng... N-n-no..." Jolokia struggled against the force of the scream, holding Dr. Swordopolis out in an attempt to somehow diffuse its power. "I... I w-won't let y-you... Won't l-l-let y-y-you..."
Crack.
Maybe the force of the cry was too much for it to handle, or something about the vibrations caused by it affected its structure... Whatever the reason, the sword she held in front of her, the sword that Miss Moerin had given her, her beloved Dr. Swordopolis... Shattered. Billions of tiny shards of metal crashed to the ground as Jolokia was blasted backwards, landing hard on her backside with only Save The Queen and the now-bladeless handle of Dr. Swordopolis in her hands.
I... I can't... Can I beat him? He's strong... Too strong, maybe... But...
"...Miss Moerin... Gave me that sword... You... You..."
I have created over a thousand blades.
"...YOU BASTARD!" With a yell and a burst of light, a perfect replica of Dr. Swordopolis sprung into life in her hand, but that wasn't the only sword that appeared. All around her, dozens of swords appeared, one after another, each a masterwork of steel, floating in the air around her and all pointed at Amazo.
But... Will this be enough? Is there even a sword that can defeat him? Even a master of the Twelve Schools of Zodiac Kenshido can't score a hit on him. Even a master...
...A master? She had mastered all twelve schools, but...
How many schools of Zodiac Kenshido are there?
...Twelve schools? No... That wasn't right. It was something she'd known all along, but hadn't realized.
...How many schools of Zodiac Kenshido are there? Her eyes turned to the blades in her hands. Just one. It's all in here. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Just like the sword is just an extension of the body, the twelve schools are little more than an extension of the sword.
Her life had no meaning until she discovered the sword. Her entire history was closely intertwined with the blade, to the point that she herself was like a sword; unfailing, resolute, indomitable. And it was these qualities that led her to one conclusion, to the one inevitability of this battle...
If he's too strong... If I can't beat him...
...I'll simply imagine a weapon that CAN beat him!
Jolokia stepped forward, still half blinded, yet still unflinching. With a nod, the swords floating around her hurtled through the sky towards the android, their edges whistling as they cut the air.
"Heh... I'm going to beat you, strong guy," she smirked, swords in hands as she slowly marched towards Amazo. "This battle has already been decided. I am the bone of my sword..."
Anise - Gotham City, Bank
As undignified as it was, Anise could do nothing but hide at the bottom of the building as Anno prepared her attack. She would've went to help, but... She could feel the mana gathering, even as far down as she was. Even though she was nowhere near the sword, the sheer raw power it possessed caused her to almost seize up.
This is... The Sword of Promised Victory? So Master wasn't exagerrating...
And then, it happened. With a burst of light that would make a bolt of lightning envious, the full power of Excalibur was unleashed above her. A shiver ran down her spine as the holy blade struck out at the abominable Doomsday beast, and she could do nothing more than simply stare at the divine brilliance radiating several stories in the air.
"It... It's beautiful..."

”Double!” Jenny called as the rocket flight reached its apex, and she angled it down again to propel them towards the target.
“KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK!” They shouted together as the combination of rocket power and gravity sent them shooting down towards their opponent, becoming sheathed in fire and lightning as they did so.
When it hit, it was sure to be quite a show.

April, Gotham Harbour
Swords... there were only two things she knew of that involved turning swords into projectile weapons. One was pretty firmly in her possession and visually distinctive to start with. The other... well, she had no idea if it really was that, but it gave her an idea.
A rainbow-like cloak dropped onto her shoulders and fastened, glowing and iridescent. Armour absorb physical attacks, cloak to deflect the incorporeal, magic resistance to deal with any utterly inane attempts at getting around those two (though she pretty firmly had mind control dealt with). Good, she didn't have to worry about defence.
Time to kill.
Ea was dropped aside for a golden sword as the white-haired girl surged forwards, arriving at Amazo as chains sprang from the air once more to hinder his attempts to dodge long enough that April could get a rhythm going.
"Jolokia, watch closely," she hissed, swinging the sword with what looked like no technique next to the girl's trained strokes but with as much speed and force as she could muster to make up for it. Technique didn't matter in this case: the only 'technique' she had in mind was disorientation.
The golden sword was cast aside after that single slash, to be replaced by a gleaming axe, tossed into her left hand and then aside once more in favour of a dark mace. One attack, then a new weapon; an endless chain of different effects. Flaming weapons, weapons that froze the air, weapons that could shatter mountains: a sequence of effects gradually building in scale. Searing blasts of wind, crushing blows that shook the ground... no consistent pattern to how they would deal damage or could be avoided, and with Enkidu to stunt all attempts to dodge.
There was, naturally, a downside to the power expended: the harbour area was beginning to be annihilated. Street cracked and shifted, the water itself turned into a frothing, boiling mess, a shattered water main acting as a geyser... an explosion off to the side marked where an errant attack had caught a gas main, too. It was a good thing that no civilians were around.
Inevitably the pace slowed, leaving dozens of scattered weapons lying around as April withdrew to catch her breath. The best case scenario was that Amazo was a fine pulp due to the sheer breadth of weaponry used, but there was one little flaw: whilst she'd covered all her bases for hitting him, the girl had forgotten to prevent healing.

Once the train had stopped, the Masjoras slid off, their bodies sparking red as they regenerated from the hit, and the effect of the lasers caused Majora's tentacles to overflow out of their bodies, large appendages hanging out of holes in the Homunculi's bodies.
One of the Masjoras staggered to it's feet, and snapped it's fingers, causing the copy holding Greed to vanish, as the other two were dragged to the remaining Masjora by an invisible force, and joined with it, reforming into one Masjora.
"We really wish you'd stop that," Majora hissed, "You'll make us too big for Seven if you make us grow up like that!"
Rapidly, Majora's tentacles increased in length, snapping like whips, and Masjora raised it's rocket arms in preparation for the Johns and Mary's inevitable attack.

"You idiots!" Greed yelled to the Johns and the Mary. "This thing wants me! And I don't need to be a genius to figure out you want to stop it, so ki--"
Unfortunately, the group never got to hear the rest of the phrase as Greed vanished with one Masjora copy, ending up in an abandoned Gotham supermarket. Nothing special, except Masjora had felt a special presence a couple of blocks away. One special little boy sitting with his adopted mother. And he wanted him to see the completion of his plan.
"This will do." "Seven" said in Masjora's head, watching everything from their mindplane. "Absorb him, and we can merge once more and become one."
Greed continued to try and break free, even trying to bite the tentacles, hoping his shark-like teeth would at least make them go away.
-------------------------------------
For Doomsday, nothing really happened. He was running, there was a flash, and nothing. He wasn't running anymore. There was no time for him to feel the pain, partly because he didn't need to feel the pain, and partly because he wasn't truly done yet. Doomsday was the result of an experiment: he had been killed over and over as a "child", and every time he came back from the dead, he would be resistant to what killed him. Drowned? Came back with gills. Burned to death? Came back with extreme heat resistance.
The time it took Doomsday to return was related to the amount of damage that killed him. Tales told of a time when Doomsday was reduced to a mere skeleton, at which point it took months for him to regenerate. But after this attack, all that remained were atoms. It wouldn't take months for him to regenerate. It would take years, decades, centuries, perhaps even millennia for him to regenerate. And once he did, he would be immune to the attack that killed gods.
But Doomsday would definitely not bother this generation of travelers. And the next. And perhaps even the next. There was the chance that the space around of him would change, that his atoms would be carried away by some kind of unknown force, and when he did regenerate, he would be surrounded by thousands upon thousands of miles of empty space. There was the chance that when Doomsday returned to wreak havoc upon the universe there wouldn't be an universe anymore. Only time would tell, but more important matters would take Anno's attention.
As the light dissipated, she would find that Doomsday left one parting gift for her. His climbing had destroyed the pillars that held the building in its rightful place. But now, there were no pillars. And as the roof slowly shook more and more, it was clear that the upper half of Wayne Tower would soon collapse upon itself. (Years later, scholars asked the question of why didn't the tower collapse when Doomsday finished climbing it. The answer still hasn't been discovered).
-------------------------------------
But while Anno had to deal with her problems, Composite Superman had to deal with his. The kick would find a clear path right into the composite being's face, and with its hands restrained (and the rockets now causing him to sneeze constantly), Composite Superman didn't have a way to react.
The kick was so powerful that it not only sent a being possibly ten times the size of the two flying away, it also sent him crashing into the buildings with a strength that made the ground shake (possibly taking the group's attention from the collapsing Wayne Tower). Composite Superman also flew into a very sharp radio tower that had been knocked over, and his roar of pain echoed through the city as it impaled him right in the chest.
Composite Superman finally began to shrink, and shrink, and shrink, slowly sliding off the radio tower and falling to the ground, a gigantic hole on its chest. He fell to the ground with a thud and didn't make a sound or a move for a few minutes, until it was pretty clear that this threat was no more. Nightwing took a step forward, approaching Composite Superman and poking him with his eskrima sticks. "Well, he's dead, that's for sure. Even if that radio tower wasn't there, I think your kick cracked his spine right in the middle." He gritted his teeth. "And turned it into bits. Tiny bits."
Another poke, this one directed at the composite being's head.
"Add his skull to the list." Nightwing said.
----------------------------------------
If Amazo could express any type of emotion apart from the glare his face was molded after, he would probably be expressing disappointment. More swords at fast speeds. Hooray. After following what seemed like a robotic sigh, Amazo simply said "Lightray" and started to effortlessly dodge all the swords like before.
That is, until April attacked. That was something that Amazo didn't expect. Her first attack, he dodged without any problems. The second one, a cut in his arm. What. The third one, his hand stopped working as it was suddenly covered in ice. What. With every attack, an alarm would pop up in Amazo's HUD. And the chains made it harder and harder for him to dodge, until at one point, he couldn't dodge at all. But the android wasn't stupid.
During the battle, he had been analyzing his opponents: the way they act, the way they talk, the way they fight. He had already worked on an extensive personality profile on April by simply reading her lips while her short fight with Jolokia happened. He knew what she was attempting by matching her personality with her "powers". And so, Amazo quietly muttered "Martian Manhunter" and raised his hand, looking like he was about to attack, before he got attacked by even more different weapons.
"For someone that acts so high and mighty," Toph yelled as she concentrated on the harbor, doing her best to fix the damage that April was producing, "you sure like to contradict yourself, Missy!"
After the final slash, Amazo was practically nothing. Every part of him was broken, and April could see that her attacks had completely destroyed the interior of the android. It seemed like the fight was over. As a last attempt, Amazo raised his hand, trying to concentrate enough energy to attack April, until he was slammed by two giant slabs of rock Toph had created. "I did my best to fix some of what you destroyed, Missy." Toph said, panting, one hand on her knees. "But this place isn't going to last much longer."
Adapt.
"So I suggest we get out of here before this entire place collapses and takes us with it."
Counter-attack.
The parts of Amazo on the floor started to shake, which immediately attracted Toph's attention. "What the..." she muttered to herself as the parts were attracted to each other, all of them rolling towards one single point: Amazo's head. The parts began to connect, but not only that, they seemed to merge, this time looking more like an organic, living being than actual machines. Amazo healed himself effortlessly, taking pride in demonstrating just how useless this little "sequence of attacks" was. There was a cog or two missing, and the transformation wasn't perfect. In fact, there was one little side-effect.
"Good one." Amazo said as his head spun into place. The android was different. His robotic behavior was gone: he acted much more like a human, and in fact, grinned as he looked down at April. While some would say this is bad, the fact that Amazo was more human could be used against himself. "Now it's my turn."
He raised his hands. "Mister Miracle." He said, his hands now glowing red as he sent a force field towards his three enemies. This one... actually wouldn't do any damage to them. For a while. After a few minutes, the three would notice that they were slightly weaker, for this force field could suck one's vital energy. The closer to the source of the field, the more energy you got sucked out of you- so one's far away would feel a light headache (like an annoying tune playing over and over), while ones closer would lose their breath for a moment and feel their legs tremble. Not wanting to take the fun out of things, Amazo sent out only two fields, and quickly muttered "Orion", forming a handgun sign with his fingers and shooting projectiles at his enemies. These projectiles would be faster than anything Amazo had sent out before, and once they hit the ground, they would explode on contact- and not just any explosion, a strong, controlled one too.
"I am not done!" Amazo yelled, actually laughing as he yelled "RAY!" and raised his hands, floating into the air as his body began to turn into an energy construct. His hands extended, connecting themselves to lampposts, until it formed a circle around the group. At this point, the energy Amazo began to flow through the energy line it produced, "running" in circles around the group, sending barrages of pure, concentrated energy at them. Toph had barely dodged one of the explosions caused by the second attack, and she limped over to Jolokia, falling to the ground as she lost her control on the harbor. Not only were Amazo's attacks getting quicker, more unpredictable and most importantly, more stronger, the harbor would soon fall down, and it didn't seem like there was a way to escape the energy circle Amazo created around them.

Pleasure's bone shell might have protected her from the lasers, but they were certainly not meant to take rockets. As her protection shattered, Pleasure's main body was completely overwhelmed by lasers and explosives, and soon the bone construct fell to the ground, limp, whatever magic that controlled it having been deactivated by the destruction of it's skeleton. And then, some sort of dark portal appeared beneath Pleasure, swallowing the skeleton and all it's spidery appendages. Then, a massive hand and arm erupted from the portal, although only Joe(and anyone that might have the ability to see the invisible) could see it. It appeared to be made of some sort of black energy, with scarlet veins flashing along the entire arm. Rapidly, it attempted to cover Joe's body, going through his construct with a strangely small amount if resistance.
Joe would find himself in a void, standing with no apparent foothold. Soon, he would see a green, impish creature wearing a mask, staring at him. " You're new." it said, " And yet you've already fought an angel of god." The imp stood up, and suddenly, was behind Joe. " We'd like to warn you, though. The path you're taking WILL lead to your death. Just look at Pleasure!" Majora snapped it's fingers, and Pleasure's skeleton appeared, frozen on a pedestal made of bone. " Until then, congrats on your first kill!"
And then Joe was back, the only sign that anything had happened was Pleasure's body having vanished, replaced with a life sized gold replica of the construct's original succubus form.

Joe was more concerned with the realization he had just willingly obliterated a sentient being, than his little mindscape trip. He had known crossing that line was bound to happen in a situation like this, but part of him... a LARGE part of him had hoped to get away with leaving the killing to others. Even if that didn't make it any better.
"No sense trying to justify it. It can be necessary, but it can never be justified." There were things that needed to be done, even if they were wrong. It would likely only get worse from here, but he could at the very least not lie to himself about his actions. Just as he could avoid losing all drive to move on from them.
"Looks like mom owes dad five bucks." Joe's father may have annoyed him more. But at least he hadn't bet against him surviving a kill or be killed situation.
The Atlas rocked gently, as it's balancers dealt with the approaching destruction of the Wayne towers... Wait, what? "Yeah, that's not good."

Wayne Tower
Anno lowered Excalibur as the light faded. She panted. While she possessed Avalon, which gave her theoretically infinite mana, her body was entirely human. Even with the attributes of a Servant, she could not take too many activations of a Noble Phantasm at once. It was a strain on her, one that threatened to make her pass out. But... She didn't need any more. Her enemy was dead, utterly destroyed. Nothing but atoms.
And the roof... the roof was collapsing. That... wasn't so good. But after that fight? This would be easy to get away from.
Anno broke into a sprint, making for the end of the roof as quickly as she could. She covered the distance incredibly quickly, and then she lept. As the roof collapsed behind her, she sailed through the air and then fell. But the fall was nothing to her. After all, she had the attributes of a Servant... hitting the ground wouldn't be anything to her.
Anno landed, armored feet first, and swiftly crouched to absorb the impact. The armored dress billowed around her, and for a moment she stayed almost perfectly still, before rising to a standing position.
"... I... did it..." the adrenaline from the experience hadn't worn off yet, and Anno had just taken on a huge monster and won by blowing it up with a magical laser. Satisfaction and excitement were just two of the emotions she was feeling right now.

Flanker, Amestris Underground
Flanker grunted in frustration as his Z Sabre sailed harmlessly through thin air. Twisting around, he had attempted to strike at Daishuryou, only for the tyrant to teleport away. That left only Dr. Maki. He would be a poor substitute, but he would do.
The others were already attacking him from the ground, so the Mega Man decided to take an alternate route: he leapt upward and, springing off the wall, plunged toward Dr. Maki from above, Z Sabre first.
Elpizo, Gotham Bank
Elpizo had spent the last few minutes trying, and failing, to get the upper hand against Joseph. He could only keep this up for so long before he or his enemy slipped up. In frustration he made a wild swing at Joseph, missing entirely and striking only the ground.
Or, to be more accurate, Joseph's shadow. Impossibly, the shadow began to tear as the beam of energy swept across it, seperating from its' owner. Dumbstruck, Elpizo somehow managed to pick it up and - not thinking to do anything else with it - put it into one of his coat pockets.
It was at that moment that Anno's Excalibur activated. Taken off-guard by this development, all the reploid could do was look in a mixture of surprise and horror as Doomsday simply disappeared. In his stunned state, Joseph would find him wide open for an attack.

Rain--Police Bank As Composite Superman was destroyed, the airship lost the unearthly shadow effect and descended slowly to the ground, deflating and folding itself as it did so. Eventually, when it was nothing more than the gondola with everything neatly folded atop it, it came to rest on the ground by Grey.
The figure to roll off of it was a sweat-drenched Rain, armour gone and substituted for clothing and hair long escaped from its ponytail. She seemed about as exhausted as the other girl, though not in any way injured, and ended up collapsing to her knees.
Note to self: turning an airship into a Noble Phantasm takes a lot of power.
April--Gotham Harbour The gold-clad girl didn't seem phased by Amazo's counterattacks: the life-force draining thing simply took a sample from her vast, if rather depleted, mana reserves. The energy bolts were deflected back to their origin by the cloak, and the explosives headed in her general direction were bisected by swords from nowhere and the pieces sent tumbling away.
"Just die, mongrel!" she hissed, unaware of the king she was echoing. So none of that worked? Fine, she'd just pull out the the biggest weapon she could!
It was only when she was halfway through revving Ea up that she realised Jolokia was in the way. Well... damn, nothing for it, then: she'd just keep it spinning until an opportunity presented itself. April really didn't want to know what happened if you stopped Ea. Though at this rate she'd blow up the world.
Fuck. This was why people normally thought ahead, and didn't pull out the world-shattering weapon and charge it to the point there was a visible blur of red energy around it.

Fusion finally turns back from his run and sees Pleasure was killed. God damn it! Damn it! UUUGGHHH! I will not end up useless! But nnnnnoooo...the midichorlians or whatever the fuck decided I'm not worthy to harness their might!
Fusion holds back tears as he walks back to the group still thinking to himself. What good am I? What good am I if I can't even fight? If I'm not even good as a goddamn distraction? Too scrawny to be a meat shield and too stupid to be the strategist. I'm no use...might as well just stay on the train.

Joseph shifted his eyes briefly to take look at the damage done by Excalibur. So this was the power of the legendary sword willed by Britain's greatest king, perhaps the most famous blade ever to exist. It deserved its reputation in spades.
Sadly Joseph could not stop fully view the blade's effects, he still had deal with that argent prick, Elpizo. Fortunately it seemed the sight of Excalibur completely annihilating Doomsday had sent, the robot into a sate of shock, this was it, this was the opening Joseph needed.
Joseph continued charging forward, acculturating his speed, until it was twice that of the White-Throated Needletail, one of fasted animals on earth. To be more pacific that would equally around 210 mph. Joseph would have increased it further but shortness of the gap between them kept him from doing so. The maroon speedster raised his bat, coursing it's many spikes to pop out, then once he was in range he threw all his willpower and physical strength, into one epic swing. Coursing the bat, to smash right into Elpizo face!!

Grey- Gotham Bank
Grey stood stock still as the events happened all about her, all the explosions and shouting and hotblood and destruction. She was as still as a snow clad mountain before it let down many tons of white powder in a dynamic show of natural disaster. As the fight resolved itself, the white-haired magus slowly knelt down and covered her nose with both of her hands while letting her eyes drift on over to a particularly interesting piece of rather uninteresting concrete. "Naked Meowrin... naked Meowrin... naked Meowrin..." From behind the poor girl, the sounds of panting could be heard. To this Grey wished she had four arms so her ears could be covered too.

Joe dismissed the big stompy robot, and landed next to Fusion. "Hey, I know that look. That's the look I would have seen if I had a mirror two minutes ago. All I had was a bigger gun to pull out of my ass as a combat cop-out, that's the main difference between us. Mindset aside."
He considers the golden... memorial? "Or would you have preferred to have beaten me to having killed someone for the first time? You got hope to shape up, but from what I've seen you'd be in a worse state if you had been the one to get this done."
He shrugs, as a glass walled phone booth with an antenna array construct forms. A construct of Joe and Fusion walking out.
"Duuuude, we totally went back in time and had Fusion decapitate Pleasure!" Construct fusion hurls on construct Joe's boots.
"...I am the WORST motivational speaker ever."

Fusion shudders as he still holds back tears. "I'm so alone. Everyone who I've trusted I lose...or fall in love with and THEN lose because I fell in love with them."
His hands ball into a fist. "I'm stupid, whiny, annoying, and scrawny. The only use I could be is a distraction! And I couldn't even do that!"

Falkon watched the current battle, not joining in, thanks to his weapon's lack of non-life threatening attacks.
Mary began to shoot fireballs at Masjora, who was, annoyingly enough, faster then then the bender, and dodged all of it.

The multitude of Johns fired lightning at the Masjora, while one off to the side held the Rider Pass to his belt, a serrated sword in his other hand.
CHARGE AND UP
The blade of the sword detached, following John's swinging motions and striking at Masjora. Shortly after each pass of the blade, the time train would follow.

"Very well." Masjora said, before being bitten by Greed.
The tentacles on Masjora's back released Greed, returning to wherever they hid in Masjora's body, and Masjora turned, rapidly transforming it's right arm into a tentacle whip, which wrapped itself around Greed's neck, lifting him off the ground and away from it's body.
"You should have stopped struggling, Homunculus." Masjora hissed, "We were planning to make your absorption painless.
Masjora raised Greed up above it's head, before slamming it down on the ground, and into a wall. Dark energy began to emanate from Masjora, entering into the wall Greed's neck was being pressed into, and Masjora let go.
Immediately after that, the wall began to reform around Greed, binding his wrists and ankles with strength that would not normally be present in a building like this one. Spikes began to form, pressing into Greed's back, as Masjora's tentacle reformed back into an arm.
A small mouth appeared on Masjora's palm, and it was slammed into Greed's forehead.
The screams of Greed could be heard for several blocks, and continued for a good ten minutes, before abruptly stopping.

As the light of Excalibur lit up the night sky, The Guardian simply watched as part of Batman's world lit up, which, considering that a large chunk of it has to do with Gotham, was a pretty large section.
"It seems this war has gotten out of hand. Soon, they'll be able destroy entire worlds with just a flick of a wrist. It's only a matter of time before the quest for power consumes everyone..." The Guardian said.
"So what shall we do about it?" Madoka asked, sitting upon his gigantic shoulder. Soon... the sounds of screaming.
"I think the answer is simple. We erase them before they erase the Multiverse." The Guardian said. Madoka then lit up into cyan flames, being sent to another world to begin a plan set in motion.
Dr. Maki couldn't hold off the blast from Nicholas and Roy any longer, and was soon knocked into Flanker and Ling's blades, whose attacks were the mortal wound. Even though he was critically wounded, his chi-block prevented him from moving even one inch, enacting a pseudo-rigor mortis.
"I... see..." Dr. Maki said as he changed back into a human. "So... this is the way the world ends... Not with a whimper... but with a bang..." He said.

August snapped into focus at the sound of Greed's agonized screams. His powers still weren't all the way fixed, but horrifying sounds like that were really hard to ignore and he was seriously doubting that those were Masjora's screams.
I sure hope Alicia's not too mad at me about this but...it's really important!
So trying his best to take advantage of the distracting screams to sneak away, August pushed open a window and slid down to the ground, jamming swords into the wall to slow his descent. Once he'd made it down to street level, he made his way to the source of the screams as best he could. He tried to prepare himself as much as he could, but in reality he knew that nothing he could do would properly prepare him to face the mask and its accumulated homunculi

Jenny pulled the top of the Rocket Switch back up, making the Rocket around her arm vanish. She reached up and pulled her helmet off, breathing heavily after all the exertion.
"Wow... That was fun!"

Amestris Underground
Lin raised his sword, ready to deliver the final blow and end Maki, until Roy spoke up. "Hold it." He said, stumbling over to where Maki was. He almost fell down upon reaching the group, but Ty Lee helped him stand up.
"Now, listen here, Maki." He said, staring at the ground near Flanker rather than staring at Maki himself. "You've got two options. You can either open up to us, tell us everything about Daishuryou- where he's teleported to, what troops does he have left- and spend your life in prison... or we can end it here. And consider yourself lucky, Maki... I'm not one to show mercy to people that end up blinding me in a foolish attempt at regaining power."

Wayne Tower
A hand burst out from a bunch of debris near the two ladies, and after a few minutes, Batman emerged from the debris, completely covered in dirt. "... you ladies need to look at where you're attacking." He said in the same deadpan voice as ever. "One of you covered me in debris when I tried to help you in the fight. How did it go?"

Police Station
Nightwing stood up, clasping his hands. "And his legs. I think you two cracked every single bone in his body. With one kick. I'd say congratulations, but now we need to figure out how to move this essentially bone-less body." He cleaned his hands, walking over to Jenny and the others. "You girls got a name? You must be some sort of new superhero group. Also, I'd like to know how all of you know my name since, you know," He leaned forward, saying the next words in a mock whisper. "it's supposed to be a secret."

Gotham Harbour
Massive amounts of power detected.
Analyzing affinity levels...
Young man, 20%, barefoot girl, 10%, sword-wielding girl... 80%?
Amazo grinned as the energy field suddenly disappeared, and the android re-appeared in his normal form, this time flying near Jolokia. It's clear that if he was near the girl, then the other annoying girl wouldn't attack him. "I must upgrade myself if I wish to pose an actual threat to this little brat." The android said, scoffing for the first time in his life. "Why must such power be placed in the hands of imbeciles? No problem."
"You know what's your problem, Metal Man?" Toph said, stomping her foot as she continued to bend the pier around them so it wouldn't fall into the water. "You're all talk and no play."
"You're all talk and no play." Amazo said at the exact same time as Toph, an act which made the girl flinch. She blinked, and opened her mouth, only for her and Amazo to say the exact same thing at the exact same time.
"You're just another stone in the road, Metal Man!"
"How are you doing that?!" Toph demanded, pointing at Amazo.
"I can copy everything, foolish girl." Amazo said, raising his hands in the air. "Your personality traits, the way you walk, the way you reject an offer... I can be a perfect copy of any of you and all I needed were a few seconds listening to you talk. Yet... I cannot copy all your powers. It seems my hardware needs an upgrade. Very well. Mister Miracle." Red swirling words appeared around Amazo's hands, and the android began to chuckle, only for the words to suddenly disappear.
"What?!" He yelled, looking at the sky. "Blast it. While your incessant attacks have somehow given me sentience, they haven't freed me from my robotic shell... I cannot access the full power of the Anti-Life Equation... but that can change. I will adapt myself. I shall become organic. And soon, all of your powers will be mine to control." He said as smaller red words appeared around his hands, and the sounds of bones cracking could be heard all over the harbor as Amazo's body began to contort and shift. It would take a while until the process was complete, but if complete, Amazo would literally be able to copy any power, no matter the limitation, and use it at any time he desired. "And then... once the perfect copy emerges... we'll get rid of the spares."

Gotham Streets
"August!" Alicia yelled as she watched her son jump off the window. Dammit! Great job, Alicia! Can't you keep a goddamn eye on your own son?! She told herself as she punched the wall and made her way towards the door. Halfway there, however, the same sickness she felt back on the time train re-emerged, prompting her to fall on the sofa. Not now, Spirits! He's going to march right into danger, I c-can't... let him... She said, muttering the words "can't let him" as she rested on the sofa.
"Perfect!" Masjora's voice echoed on its head. "Now we can merge and become one... forever--" His thoughts were interrupted by John's attack, which were hastily dodged as a reflex. "Crap! Get us out of here! Get us to a safe place where we can merge!"
And in the mindscape, another figure had appeared: Greed, who was already desperately trying to find a way out, cursing himself for not punching Masjora enough times in the face "to give the bastard a headache he would never fucking forget".

Anno stare, blankly. Was she looking at... Batman...? Wait, of course, this... this was the multiverse, so Batman existing wasn't such a strange, unusual prospect... still, it... it was Batman. It was a bit surreal.
The adrenaline kept Anno's levels of confidence high, at last, so she didn't immediately panic upon speaking to someone she only knew about through a few movies.
"... It... that monster is gone. It's dead. And... I'm sorry, I tried to make sure I did as little damage as I could..."

Wayne Tower
After Anno said "little damage", Batman did a slow scan of the area around them. Cars were flipped around (some of them had been thrown towards the buildings, creating a massive holes), parts of the concretes were removed, revealing the pipes under them, a giant water tower was on the ground, destroyed, and most importantly, there were craters all around the road that made it look like swiss cheese.
"Yes." He said, crossing his arms as he slowly raised an eyebrow. "Little damage. Now, you two might as well start telling me the things I need to know. First of all, how does your group know the identities of me and other crimefighters? And second," He turned to Anno, his stare turning into a glare. "What method did you use to exterminate the creature?"

Wayne Tower
Anno took a deep breath. She was coming off her high now, and Batman's glare had nearly made her flinch. But no, no no no, she wasn't going to just buckle under the pressure of anyone right now. Even if that person was a superhero. She could keep herself collected. Or at least she could try.
"I... well, we're... multiversal... travelers, and, um... bad things were happening here, so... my friends... we went to try and help to stop it, " she explained, before taking another deep breath and raising her sword. "I used Excalibur. It's... um... it's a magical sword that can fire a huge blast. It completely destroyed the monster, but I had to get up high so I didn't do any damage to the city..."

Now was the time to act, it seemed. Throwing the golden gun-crossbow very, very high in the air as April began her repeated, thunderously powerful barrage of slashes, Knight raised his right hand. "Legend Access." LEGEND ACCESS: TIMERANGER! The white flames molded inwards and blew away, leaving a single, silver-black device on his wrist. "Chrono..." Looking clearly at Amazo, Knight crossed both wrists together and shifted to the left in what seemed to be a premeditated pose - then he brought his right hand past his shoulder, pressing the buttons on the futuristic changer with his left. "Changer!" he finished. Expanding outwards in a matter of seconds, a neon-green, circular enclosure rimmed with a darker green swept around him in a series of electronic beeps, before disappearing just as quickly as it had appeared. Clad in a green-white suit with a sideways diamond motif , Knight stepped forwards, catching the gun-bow as it fell from the sky - then the first cracks began to appear in the harbor. Solution? Bullet time. Boosted by the incredible perception that the futuristic suit gave him, Knight managed to avoid most of the destruction by simply moving to the side whenever it presented itself, stepping across the cracking concrete and dodging the waterspouts with relative ease while remaining in relatively close contact with April and Toph. He seemed impossibly calm, especially given that he wasn't attacking at all - but it was too dangerous to use his new weapon, what with two of his current allies in melee range. When April stopped attacking and the newly-reconstructed (odd, that) Amazo sent the two glowing fields towards them, therefore, he managed to roll to the side in time, lessening the effect of Mister Miracle's powers. As the android began to fire the energy bolts at them, Knight stood up, raised the crossbow-gun and returned fire. Here was a person already capable of shooting bullets out of the air while wearing a T-shirt and jeans. He now had a suit that sped up his perception and speed even further, to the point where even a normal human would be able to dodge gunfire like nothing. These energy bolts, therefore? Too slow. The barrels spun, discharging glowing arrows of gold at the rate of an average minigun. Guiding them with incredible precision, Knight aimed them straight at the android himself, answering each orange projectile with around ten of his own. He seemed to be able to dodge the blasts themselves with ease, and the pulses were simply jumped over. Each arrow would send a powerful burst of heat and light through its tip on contact, phasing through their target before detonating with the force of a C4 charge. They would not do so until Knight stopped firing altogether, whereupon they would all explode in sync. He did not know how many would hit. He imagined it would be enough to create a distraction.

"Heh..." Dr. Maki said, chuckling to himself. "It's already over. It doesn't matter if I rot here or in prison. But... I shall give you what you want either way... He took every troop he gathered up to this point... and he's going to the place where you meddling kids came from..." Dr. Maki said.
"So? We can easily kick his ass!" Nicholas said. Dr. Maki then chuckled again.
"You... I know a kid like you... A kid who wished to save everyone and grab the hands that no one else wished to grab... It's those kinds of people... who have despair awaiting them at the finish line... heh heh heh..." Dr. Maki said before keeling over. Any way to check the man's pulse would show that they ceased.
