I think I prefer the Death Star. Nothing quite like hearing a piece of high technology powering up (and, of course, frickin' laser beams).

Sort of silly question. My brain is hard wired to 'other player's consent first, even for inconsequential or purely benevolent things'. Joe intends and is in the starting process of Moving August to safety, Toph wants Newbie to move August to safety.
Since I'm still getting used to the overall style of this board, I'd rather ask now instead of both me and August's player silently waiting for the other to actually move them to safety (What's taking this guy so long!?... wait, they though I was gonna do it? DOH! x2). Should I go ahead with saying I move them or wait and let Dblade26 do it himself?

You can ask Dblade via PM if you want. Good point, but I'm also curious about overall RP etiquette for this game in general. I tend to play with a 'hands off the other player characters and NPCs' approach. Normally this is in line with everyone else, or in a stark contrast to "I'm not godmodding! I only posted encasing you in stone thus rendering you unable to fight back! I didn't post hurting you!" general board population views and post quality. When a game is more middle ground, my usual 1/0 On/Off views on the subject tend to get confused due to habit. I figure I'll need to get used to posting non malicious direct actions in this game's case. |

It's fine if laserface's person carries him, since it's a non-hostile action, was requested IC by another character, and since he's pretty much out of the fight anyway.

I haven't played any Pokemon since Red and Blue (Though I have a dust collecting copy of Platnium).
Growlithe is the best Pokemon. He's the adorable puppy you always wanted, plus fireballs.
