Okay, swarm of bone eating movie monsters moving in on the bone monster bad (Note to self, don't summon Rust Monster constructs either). I'll work out some other, more futile attack attempt. Godmodding would be if I just outright said they ate her then and there (or instantly caught her in metal then punched her through a building, but I'll give benefit of the doubt you arranged that with Meorin's player ahead of time). Yes. Yes I did. Sweet. I'm just used to very... Lopsided, standards when it comes to NPC Vs PC attack resolutions, or Old Players compared to New Players. But sometimes optimism gets proven to be valid and I feel better about internet life. Joe only switched from Stall combat to 'Attempt Killshot like the big kids players' cause other Players getting impaled and such around him isn't a good thing to see. ...Of course, if that failed to do the trick, she still had more than enough MP to unleash magical Armageddon upon the monster. The only problem with that was that she was sure she'd get in trouble for wiping such a large city off the map. See, this is why I have no idea what I am and am not allowed to throw at enemies -.- Brag about your city leveling firepower good, throw movie monsters that can't even destroy a brick house at someone bad. Can I get an instructional pamphlet or something?

Don't do moves that can a) not be dodged, and b) can instakill the target.
In your examples, it's either against a target that can take it, or it isn't even being used. There is a very big difference.

Well, that's sensible and what I'm used to doing. I guess I'm just far too used to players who mention their "Could totally level a city" power levels also being the sort to use them two seconds later.
Metawise, even a box opener to a normal human's neck is just as bad as "Magical Armageddon". But I kind of lose sight of it from the sheer firepower being casually discussed tending to be "Well, what's the difference between them saying they ATTEMPT to kill somebody, vs outright stating if you they are swinging that much power? The enemy blows up a city at you. Did you dodge?"
Not saying I wasn't wrong, just saying why I went wrong.

Christopher Lee doesn't mind. Dooku probably will. I'm sorry. The Big News is something I feel essential to mention with a Star Wars character in my head. Heck your arguments I'll probably use to try and soothe Dooku.

Also, using an attack a normal person could do much about on Composite Superman would be about as effective as frowning menacingly, right?

Uh... people die if they're killed, barring extenuating circumstances like being in a place where turning you into a demon takes about two minutes.
And he quit because people didn't want a second SI who's almost identical. Which is the second time he's ragequit. >.>

Yeah. Like Rain Said. Death in this RPG is pretty much for real, though revival is cheap considering how easy it is. Dragonballs, Phoenix Downs, regenerations, you name it. Nicholas actually died once, but Ultraman Zero then gave him his lifeforce.

Self-insert.
Also, um... Don't try and kill another player's character without getting their permission first. Um... Any reason you're asking this?

Hm... in Amestris, where was the bomb in the sewer and where was everyone in relation to the bomb?

The bomb was Kame Bazooka (in an homage to V3) and it blew up already... A small explosion, mind you.

Right. Where was everyone in relation to Kame Bazooka, though? It's kind of hard to figure out what effects will occur if I don't know how far away Flanker was from Kame Bazooka when he blew up (I'm going for a minor case of Reality Ensues here).

He was knocked into some pipes, away from probably all of us save for the one that kicked him.

Good to know.

I'm having a little bit of trouble figuring out what to do with Elpizo; on the one hand, I can't just ignore Ciaran's contribution to the fight (which would be a dick move) but at the same time it'll be kind of tricky to write around fighting two people at once when one of them is no longer here.

Hm... true. Thanks, Moerin!
All I need now is for 22 to post and I'll be able to put that into action.

....Troy is telling me to Shunpo Aleph out of the story line and have him come back in S2.
Just saying that I'm not so keen with that idea, I would like at least Some interaction before I actually decide to settle into the RP.
But the thing is you guys are like 95% through the story line.
Gahhh.....I'll have Aleph do something.

Before you ask, no, I am not sure whether RinRinShi dissolving can be reversed. However, what I am sure about is that it indicates mortal injuries. I'm sure you guys can save my character. Right?

So, um... Kinda unsure about what to do here. When I wrote a response to Joe's anvil, I somehow missed that it was a giant anvil, which... Would've done a lot more damage... And editing what happened to Pleasure would make following posts make less sense, so...
>.< Anyone have any suggestions?

And editing what happened to Pleasure would make following posts make less sense, so... >.< Anyone have any suggestions? It's cool. I'll retcon it so it was a normal sized anvil, and cut out some of Joe's rambling. I've had worse things missed. Like a two story tall Cyborg with a plasma flamer. How did that get resolved in the end? GM said I just narrowly missed my allies... Who were all behind me at the time. Yeah, I'm damaged goods when it comes to my expectations of RP combat <.< EDIT: all fixed, Anvil now normal sized and no asking Pleasure what the deal was with her 'as strong as they need to be' durability. Though I will likely need to revise the scale of 'stupid plan', which was formed on the basis of "Welp, she sure seems immune to non planet devastating physical harm at this point". Not my intended firepower, which would have been unimpressive, but how much HAM would be involved.

Aaaand that's the best I can manage in terms of Elpizo right now. I'd really like to get a response to my previous post in here, since my next post kind of hinges on knowing what he can and can't do (and I can't write a fight scene by myself, after all).

Ill grant you the first two, but they aren't just handing out legendary blades like candy so you can hardly hold the weapons available to them against em.
