True, but a fancy pickaxe vs an energy sword could work just fine in this setting after people going on about how a Lightsabre won't be able to cut through other people's weapons in this game. (weapon strength: Popularity Power, weaponized)
Mr. Minecraft didn't come pre-packaged with swordsmanship they never knew in civilian life for free anyways, how is he going to learn on the job if we just kill them because he didn't app a combat monster?
He's doing a lot better than Meorin was five minutes ago, at the very least. We're not all just leaving her to bleed to deaths on the streets for being an apparent combat failure are we?

I got a thing against 'Player left? Let's just KILL them!' though. It just seems kinda meanspirited.
I've seen people give notice for non drama RL interruption reasons elsewhere, only to have their characters killed off for no purpose but spite, or because 'hey! free chance to playerkill to show how badass this other character is!'.
Guy left, apparently under circumstances that was less than pleasant for some. Going 'let's break his toys! THAT will show them!' was the sort mindset thing I was under the impression was why you left TVtropes forums and started fresh somewhere else.
If he's ever allowed back, he's got something waiting for him. If he's banned, then why bother killing them?
EDIT: I don't track the apparently drama packed land of the chat. Mostly because I wouldn't even be at the keyboard most of the time. Though I don't really see the appeal of checking in since most of my ignorance of current events tends to be along the lines of "Something blew up in the chat".
Even if they called you all bag of dicks or something, I'm still against Character Execution as the first go-to option of absent players. I know Im new and I'm not trying to tell people what to do, but that's my outlook.
If you want them hurt, and we can't pretend hard enough in our pretend game Mr. Mincraft quietly left the scene, then just have Elpizo field goal the guy in the nuts through a window or something.
Not like killing them will make anybody care about the fight harder, after all. But a kick to the groin is always funny.

Yeah... you seem to have missed that this is being suggested because he quit on flimsy pretenses and has become something of an obstacle.
Last time he quit, he called everyone an asshole or becoming one. This time, he just deleted his account because people said no to one idea. Mid fight. Flank doesn't want to pretend he was just never there, so...

I should hasten to add that he didn't kill Ciaran; rather, it's more a "whoops, you're unconscious!" dealie. Even with ~dark energy~ and a hand made out of metal, I imagine that what amounts to a slap isn't going to kill you.
The reasons why I didn't go "Ciaran dies!" is simple: 1) it'd be a pretty dickish thing to do, and 2) it allows an avenue for GCR to come back, if he ever does.
I will fully admit that I should've made that much clearer, but I didn't want to control GCR's character (even if he is no longer present) and so I left the results vague (that, and I've never been a fan of autohitting, even if it would supposedly be "justified" in a case like this). I apologise for any confusion!
