Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Personified

It is an alternate Pokemon world, one with no humans. One where Pokemon are anthromorphic humanoids with five fingers on each hand and five toes on each feet, as well as bits and pieces of their species' distinctive parts. They act akin to youkai, being able to materialize their genetic lineage from an otherwise humanoid body. (Think Touhou youkais). (An example would be hands turning into Scizor claws and growing Charmander tails).

Our story takes place in the Region of Giyo. It is an island nation surrounded on two sides by the larger continents of Rhodas and Ming. Giyo is a melting pot of various species on account of being in the middle of the trade route of the eastern hemisphere of the world. Boasting of various natural harbors, as well as diverse geographical areas, it is the perfect place for many types to live, many of them immigrants from other parts of the world. Unlike most other regions, Giyo is a relatively quiet and rural country, not having an abundance of cities but rather towns and villages. Here, most Pokemon can enjoy the quiet and sleepy days without rush, as well as enjoy the splendor of nature.

Unfortunately, that peace is being threatened by a series of inexplicable natural disasters are happening with alarming intensity. In their wake, suspicious areas called "Dungeons" have appeared, with more brutal and dangerous Pokemon that are held in sway by the Dungeon's effects, attacking all those who dare enter its domains. To deal with these mysterious hotspots of conflict, the local guilds put their heads together and thought of a solution. Because Giyo has no standard army like the other regions, adventurers were asked to help with the threat to Giyo's peace. Responding in kind, the Adventurers decided to go about and attempt to breach the dungeons, hoping to preserve the now fragile peace of the land.

[Krautman]

• Name: Sylvia
  
• Species: Remoraid

• Backstory: Sylvia is an orphaned girl, the daughter of a now deceased Octillery and Quagsire. Although she doesn't know it, she is a descendant of one of the members of the legendary Wooper Corps, heroes who stood against the tyranny of Daimyou Thundurus. She's spent most of her life on the streets, getting an upbringing from people she goes into dungeons with to support herself. She sleeps at the bottom of the park's lake.
  
• Personality: Sylvia's a very cheerful girl, and always trying to help. The thing is, she has virtually no idea of what to do to help in most situations, being seven years old. She's a bit lonely, but won't let that get in the way of protecting others. After all, she's one of the good guys! A big crybaby when people make fun of her.
  
• Moves: Water Gun, Lock On, Aurora Beam, Egg Moves:(Haze, Mud Shot, Acid Spray)

Name: Rio

Species: Riolu

Gender: Um... Female

Appearance: No, wait, male...?

Backstory: Having lived on the mountains all her life, Rio isn't exactly accustomed to social activities. While she makes rare excursions to town for supplies and the like, she's generally a mountain dweller. There, she trains rigorously to become the absolute strongest. And is totally succeeding. Is absolutely not afraid of Larvitars and their evolved forms at all.

Personality: Confident, a tad rude at times, and totally not afraid of Larvitars/Pupitars/Tyranitars at all. Although she isn't averse to being in a team, Rio will most likely try and assume leadership/superiority, and cause quite a few problems. Is also very hot-blooded and eager to prove her strength.

Moves: Quick Attack, Foresight, Counter, Force Palm, Reversal

Items: Lagging Tail. Only as a form of weighted training clothes.

[Tachi]

Name: Rosemary

Species: Bayleef

Gender: Female

Appearance: Rosie in one of her rare "about to cut someone" moods.

Backstory: The child of a Roserade and a Meganium who had, until the dungeons appeared, intended on living a peaceful life and inheriting her family's flower shop. There isn't really much to say about her past.

Personality: Rosemary is kind and motherly. She dislikes violence and the thought of pokemon getting hurt in general. Why would someone like this join a guild? Because these dungeons are full of extremely violent pokemon that need to be stopped. If she sees a child or someone she cares about get hurt, well...expect some magical homing leaves to be involved.

Moves: Magical Leaf, Reflect, Synthesis, Aromatherapy, Grasswhistle

[Mahou Moerin]

Name: Miku Gaga Bowie Mercury (but she'll settle with just "Miku")
Species: Meloetta
Gender: Female (technically genderless, but identifies as female)
Appearance: Aria Form and Pirouette Form

Backstory: A world famous pop idol who's joined the adventurers to show to her fans that there's more to her than just a pretty face and a lovely voice! At least, she likes to think she's world famous, but the truth is she's nowhere near as well known as she thinks she is, even in Giyo.

Personality: Usually, Miku is a pretty nice Pokérson despite her delusions pertaining to how popular she really is, and treats others with respect and kindness. Honestly, she's actually rather shy off-stage. However.. Once she transforms into her Pirouette Form, her personality changes and she becomes a complete diva with an explosive temper and utter contempt for anyone.

Name: Melissa

Species: Missingno

Gender: Female

Appearance: "Hi!" Easily eight feet tall, she's a huge girl.

Backstory: Found close to shore on one cold, stormy day where the flying types kept crossing from mainland to island repeatedly, no-one could identify what the hell Melissa was, only that stuff occasionally looked a bit weird when she was around and only that she was extremely heavy. Defying all expectations, Melissa grew up and proved to be utterly useless at taking a hit or making the first move... but bizarrely good at dealing physical damage. Wanting to make friends, she waved goodbye to her adopted family and set off to see the world.

Personality: Really likes the number six, and if she finds six items in one place she tends to find a huge stash of the sixth one she notices. Not really the brightest, she's easily confused and doesn't like how so many people shy away from her because the scenery looks a bit odd in her direction. Loves physical intimacy.

Moves: Water Gun, Water Gun, Sky Attack, and knows Fly and Tri Attack through learning them.

Items: A Focus Band, which is her belt.

Name: Mirabelle Delacroix

Species: Misdreavus

Gender: Female

Appearance: "My my my, this will be interesting."

Backstory: Mirabelle was born into a rich family, the daughter of two Mismagius. She grew up having a fairly pampered life, and it was eventually decided that she should be sent out to collect a dusk stone to allow her to grow.

Personality: Mirabelle was spoiled from an early age, but this has not left her as a brat. Instead, it has left her curious and friendly, though with basically no knowledge of social conventions given that she was pampered in a mansion most of her life. Mirabelle also believes that she must be as refined and proper as possible, in spite of it being unlikely she can manage to maintain this attitude.
