Basically, the 12th Dead Apostle Ancestor has revealed themselves properly rather than being a dimly-remembered name in a list, and aside from anything else has thrown both the Church and Mage's Association (because they REALLY do not want to deal with a pissed-off Zelretch) into a panic by announcing their intention of using the Fourth Magic to recreate Brunestud of the Crimson Moon. So, either being cautious, overconfident, or having some ulterior motive, they've left the location of their lair wide open... and everyone has responded in force, sending the most powerful they can to deal with it. Hell, even some unaffiliated Dead Apostles might show up. It IS possible to send any suitable canon characters (this takes place... probably before Tsukihime) and fill in the Burial Agency, but it seems rather unlikely they'd send Merem. FORMAT: - Name:

- Name: Kamisaka Atsuko
- Age: 22
- Gender: Female
- Appearance: "A magus should strive for the best."
- Affiliation: Mage's Association
- Abilities: Atsuko has the affinity of Water. While this naturally makes her excel at spells featuring the element. In addition, this leads to her being very effective with spells involving flows and cycles. Her favored spell for when combat is required is known as "Liquid Buzzsaw Requiem". This gathers water into a shape similar to a circular saw, then causes it to to spin extremely rapidly. At such speeds, the water is capable of slicing through even metal. To fuel the spell, she carries several vials of compressed water with her. With enough water, she can produce multiple saws at once and produce a tidal wave of liquid saws to destroy her enemy. She can also manipulate and re-use an already-formed saw unless it's disrupted. With enough water, she can also make a truly massive saw. In addition, she can form "armor" out of water that blocks damage by counter-attacking.
- Personality: Atsuko is a very serious girl. She takes pride in her skills as a magus, and at the same time dislikes "abuse" of these skills. She believes that magecraft should be kept completely secret from the people... and this goes for hurting those who do not know of magecraft as well. She has nothing but dislike for magi who use common people in their schemes, especially if it involves using magecraft on them. She believes this qualifies quite thoroughly as an abuse of magecraft. Atsuko also believes a magus should strive to be their best no matter what, and looks down on those who don't try hard for any reason. A powerful magus who has not worked hard to achieve their power will earn her ire, and a weak one who works very hard will earn her respect. She is pleasant towards people who do not earn her ire, though she has a short temper. In spite of her usual seriousness, she is extremely weak towards nuns, having a... liking... for them.
- History: Atsuko is the child of the Kamisaka magus family. Her family is closely associated with the Akiyama magus family. Throughout her life, Atsuko trained extremely hard, becoming a remarkably accomplished magus by the age of twenty-two. She outright volunteered to be part of the team sent to stop the Twelfth Dead Apostle Ancestor from resurrecting Crimson Moon.

Name: Avair Axique, Dead Apostle Ancestor #12, Maiden of the Concepts. Age: Several Centuries Gender: Female Appearance: This chair can fly and shoot lasers. No, seriously. Affiliation: Herself. She's the boss at the end of the dungeon. =P Abilities: - Mastery of the Fourth Magic: 'Materialisation of Concepts', Formless Birth. A key part of her plan is to use the power of leylines (at a major nexus in the middle of Siberia, in this case) to provide enough power to gradually materialise the concept of vampires and therefore either have Crimson Moon or a suitable vessel. She can also utilise this power in several ways:
Materialisation: What she's using for Crimson Moon, creates an embodiment of the concept, generally resembling a Conceptual Weapon if one shares what she's after (but more potent). For more formless things, like battle, it takes considerably more power and is liable to yield a Heroic Spirit, albeit weakened to conform to the power supplied (effectively a Servant outside the class system). Addition: Adds a concept to an item or person. Much less taxing than the above, unless the concept is a pretty major thing in and of itself. a superlative form of Alteration and Reinforcement, it can achieve effects outside of the realms of Magecraft and most items with more than one added are on a level of power with Noble Phantasms. Subtraction: Similar to the above, it is not only the reciprocal process but more useful in its own right for some situations, though it is extremely time-consuming to remove such things as 'ageing'. It's most useful for negating Reinforcement or destroying Conceptual Weapons, but she has to get her hands on the item in question first. She's used a combination of this and above to keep herself youthful and negate the more annoying Dead Apostle weaknesses.
- Dead Apostle Ancestor: One through magecraft, she doesn't have the obscene regeneration of those created by a True Ancestor or Crimson Moon. Still, she has a lot of healing ability despite that.
- Magecraft: Mostly good with more permanent things, she's poor with in-the-field casting. She managed to considerably improve her own power by using the Fourth Magic to enforce a concept of a magic system of her own liking upon the entire planet, giving her even power everywhere. This is why no-one has seen her for several centuries. The exact mechanisms? Secret.
- Otaku Powers: Having had little else to do other than devote a portion of her mental processing capacity, extended so that she DIDN'T spend centuries doing absolutely nothing except casting, to a spell and wait for it to finish, she's actually got a good basis in video game and story patterns. Maybe that's why her lair is so much like an RPG dungeon...
Personality: Cheerful and lazy, she's an oddly nice person for a vampire, possibly because she actually turned herself into one AFTER gaining the Fourth Magic and then effectively deadened the blood drive to minimal effects, constantly cheating the rules and the world. Still, she has a desire to see Crimson Moon resurrected, so she's a Bad Person from the view of the Church and the Mage's Association, even if her goal is perfectly in-line with averting or forestalling the eventual end of the world (she's REALLY dreading that) and the whole POINT of being a Dead Apostle. History: Got magic, met Crimson Moon at one point, so she's at least 800. Vanished for ages, then reappeared and announced her plans.

Name: Black Keys Killer, Kira Anastria. Age: 29 Gender: Female Appearance: "Ah... welcome."Affiliation: Burial Agency, #2. Abilities: - Sorcery Trait: Mana Interlacing. The ability to weave prana into something at its creation as a permanent, more efficient (since it operates on every individual component, substantially adding up rather than a 'blanket' boost) Reinforcement. Since her childhood, Kira has been doing this with her own body, constantly. Whilst this stunts her ability to use other magecraft (not that the Black Keys need much), it makes her comparable to a Servant in sheer physical capabilities, and none other than Berserker in raw strength.
She also uses this ability to store her movements in prana whilst she's learning a new technique and, after the first successful use, transfer it straight to memory. As a result, she has a reputation for immediate learning of any physical skill.
- Black Key Habit: Every single one of the fibres in her habit is technically a bible page and a black key. As a result, during a fight her clothing grows increasingly threadbare as the Black Keys are removed from it. Whilst it is mostly the normal keys (sigils and all, which she does have the ability to use), there's a substantial amount that form 'abnormal' weapons in case they prove ineffective. Due to an Elemental Affinity of Air, Kira can release a massive volume at once and create a wind-driven storm of blades if normal fighting isn't helping. This technically extends beyond the habit; on a mission all of her clothing is keys. Only if she's completely naked is it safe to assume you have disarmed her.
- Alien Stomach World: She has it in her pocket. It's unlikely to be of much use against a higher-ranked Ancestor, especially one such as this, but it gives Narbareck one less excuse to show up.
Personality: Calm, collected, and much less violent than her superior, Kira is cold and methodical about her job, though outside of combat situations she's a pleasant and rather motherly person. She has a massive sweet tooth and, a year or two ago, let a vampire get away (for half an hour, but still) because a bakery was having a sale. History: The daughter of an Executioner, her ridiculous skill growth and aptitude for the Black Keys eventually lead to her induction into the Burial Agency, where she's made her way up due to being both level-headed and dangerous. Who better to interact with Narbareck? She still doesn't know what Merem looks like, though.
