Chatbox RulesAny violation of the following is subject to a ten minute ban and, if you repeat it almost immediately after getting unbanned, three hours. After that, a day, and it shouldn't really go any higher... - Debating is fine. Arguing? Not so much. If things start to get heated, calm down. A good measure of when it's an argument is if you start injecting the person into things.
- No insults. Seriously.
- Try to refrain from altering the topic of a conversation into one-sided complaining that goes on for over a page. Whilst this might not be a hostile thing, the ban is also kind of to let people get back to... you know, talking about cheerful things.
So... yeah. Simple enough...

New Rule: No Spoilers. Period. This is just too much of a minefield when we have to make sure that every single person in the chat has either seen / read the work in question or is OK with it being spoiled. So just... no spoilers that are less than a year old.

Revision of the above: no spoilers if requested otherwise or someone specifically makes it known they're going through something. Time is irrelevant unless it's something that's only broadcast once. Also a good way to ruin twist endings, relying on time. So yeah, spoilers only if no one around cares. Ask first.

Rain. By what fucking RULES did you ban me for:
1)Entering the chat and saying "Hi guys. What's up on <current topic>?". You banned me and deleted the messages.
2)Saying absolutely NOTHING for the last couple hours when you had some flip out and decided to quit. What, does your list seriously goes "What to do when quitting: 1)Ban Adannor. 2)Delete my forum account."
3)I don't even have a fucking idea what now. I haven't been watching the chat when you were there, then when Troy arrived I just said hello to him and chatted a bit, then when Moe arrived I said hello to her too.... And you delete EVERYTHING I wrote that day and ban me. What. The. FUCK?!

For some reason the chatbox isn't working properly for me right now.
As in it'll load the page, but the actual chat and the status light never seem to appear.
Can anyone suggest a solution?
