Name: John Shepard Age: In his late twenties Sex: Male Appearance: My name is Commander Shepard and this is my favorite Signup on the Citadel.Chosen Power/Tech: Shepard was raised as a soldier, so he has a toughened body and knowledge of nearly every weapon in his world, and thus can use similar weapons with ease. Though his signature weapon is his Assault Rifle. While Shepard is able to use heavy armor, he sticks to his standard N7 Uniform, with the WBX Symbol instead of the N7 Symbol. Faction: W-B-X (Rank: Second-In-Command, as well as Kagemusha) World of Origin:World of Mass Effect Personality: It took a while for Shepard to realize this, but he loved manipulating people. Seeing their lives within his hands and how easy it is to just take it away. His career as a soldier and life as an orphan helped shape this mindset. However, he hides this all under a goody-two shoes personality, though not because he wants to lure them in a false sense of security. It was due to having to keep with the social "norms". It's quite rare to see his true personality, and when you do, chances are you won't live to tell the tale. Bio: Shepard grew up on Earth without any parents. He was taken up by several crimelords who were seeking to turn the children into their next soldiers. The methods they used to raise them were sadistic at best. Most of them consisted of leaving twenty four children in a room without food or water, and then wait a week to see who was still breathing. Eventually, Shepard became hardened in his 'training' and became one of the best. He was then used as the crimelords assassin. By the time Shepard turned eighteen, he decided that he was done being pushed around and when the crimelords thought he was completely under their control, he killed them all and escaped onto an Alliance Space Ship: The Normandy. He stowed away there, but when discovered by Commander Anderson, instead of seeing a thief, he saw a soldier. Anderson took in Shepard like a son and had him recruited into the Alliance. He went on several missions, but only a few helped shaped the way he was. One of them was a mission to Akuze, where a Thresher Maw attack killed nearly everyone, leaving Shepard to be the sole survivor. However, during the attack, Shepard had time to save a soldier. To save someone. Yet, he just couldn't. He liked the begging from the soldier when he pleaded for his life. He liked it more when he saw absolute despair as the soldier died. He didn't tell this to anyone though. The other mission that shaped him was a simple scouting mission on Eden Prime that turned into a mission to take out a Spectre. When told of the Spectre's ruthlessness, he shed some light of his true personality to Anderson. He only figured out Shepard's true colors just as he was made a Spectre. Anderson was shocked as the controls for the ship were handed to Shepard, and he slowly realized just how ruthless Shepard could become. He doomed a species to extinction simply because he enjoyed it. He, unknowingly to her, had Ashley kill Wrex, then leave her to die on Virmire because of it, leaving her to think of if she should have saved the Commander. But by far, the worst crime he saw in Shepard's eyes was when he had to choose between the Council and the Human Federation. After insulting the Council, he left them to die. Shepard, when choosing an ambassador, put Anderson up, just as if to tell him: "Yeah. You caused all these deaths. You let me live. You let me in." This broke Anderson so much that he committed suicide and Udina took his place. Shepard was rather joyed at this, for this along with him convincing the Spectre he was hunting down to kill himself, convinced him that being a bastard was by far the best logical option. Before he could do any more missions, he was asked to settle an attack on a Krogan settlement. However, he couldn't believe his eyes as he saw just who was attacking the settlement: A small kid, around his age when he first entered the Normandy. He was charged to arrest him by the new human council, but instead, he decided to pledge his allegiance, and join him as his right-hand man, as well as false commander to throw off suspicion. Shepard knew he had a goal in life now: To raise the kid up as his own. To raise him to his standards. To raise him to be the next John Shepard.

Well... That's because it is. Well, just the concept. The final Symbol will be described and will be similar to Dai-Shocker's symbol. The other option was this.

Well. I seem to have gotten completely lost as to what the different factions are aiming for.
Also, could it be possible for someone to have Meister powers but not from any particular Meister? Otherwise it might be difficult to explain how they'd wield August who so far seems only compatible with Toph...
Unless they got a shard from someone who didn't really have problems with compatibility...like Stein...

World Busters Xtreme: Destruction for The Hell Of It. Scheherazade Foundation: Bring people into the multiverse FOR PROFIT, tech/spy side. Brotherhood: Default Good Guy Faction. Meow Dynasty: Have fun, good-aligned anarchy in structure.
Umm... I think that's the factions larger than one or two people. ^^;

Name: Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, AKA the actual NRVN QSR, AKA the Whore of Babylon, AKA Saber. Age: Probably about the age she ascended to the throne: 17. Sex: Female Appearance: She's absolutely tiny. Exact height? Four foot nine. Seriously, Nero is a midget. And she's just letting you see. Chosen Power/Tech: - Imperial Privilege: Nero's most notable skill, she can temporarily gain any skill appropriate to her class, station, or major desires (artistic stuff especially, and probably Divinity because the Roman emperor kind of WAS a god) just by desiring it enough. This is the source of her swordsmanship abilities, too, though as a human girl she was still strong enough to wrestle a lion and win. Seriously.
- Magic Resistance: "Cancel spells with a chant below two verses. Cannot defend against Magecraft on the level of High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals." Basically, things you can cast quickly or spam are extremely unlikely to affect her.
- Really Bad Headaches: She actually IS highly artistic. However, the poison her mother had been feeding her for her entire life until her death? When she died, the antidote stopped, and Nero gained terrible headaches. As a Servant, they eventually cease (and allow use of Aestus Domus Aurea) after her parameters are fully corrected.
- Servant Parameters: All barely above normal human level initially due to a botched summoning, though her skill level compensates, but as time passes things will right themselves and gradually return towards her true parameters.
STR: A AGI: B END: C MAG: C LUK: A NP: ? (EX?)
- Aestus Domus Aurea--Golden Theatre of the Deranged: Nero's Noble Phantasm, completely unusable until her parameters are all back where they should be and even then has a gap before it becomes available. Nero's Reality Marble (what is it with emperors and these things?), it materialises the theatre it is named after. Within, any of its owner's aspirations may be achieved. So as to not drain the worth and value from everything, it simply makes things easier for Nero. The result, in combat? Her opponent will be weakened and she will be strengthened. Additionally, her luck stat is effectively 'EX' whilst materialised. It lasts less than a minute, however. It looks awesome
Faction: Whomsoever (Probably Meow Dynasty--Moe seems to want her. Butt cleavage... XD) World of Origin: World of Fate/ (Specifically, she's from the Throne of Heroes--though based off her starting /Extra stats, she's from the Nasuverse in general) Personality: An arrogant woman, rather like a certain Babylonian king, with a similar attitude of permissions granted and unwavering confidence in herself. To be most apt, though, the comparison would have to be made with Gilgamesh whilst he had Enkidu to temper his vices: Nero is an excessively passionate empress who will give everything she can to her subjects without remorse but expecting to receive just as much in exchange; it is her own strange view of love. Devoid of an empire to rule, the most notable thing about her is that she's formal and bombastic at the same time. She also doesn't care about her height, though she will object to being called a girl. Bio: Just read it.

Yay Nero!
She's going to be fun, without question.
... For some reason I think her and Dlanor interacting would be fun, I'm not sure why. Also her and Ika Musume, because Emperor meets "Conqueror".

Nero also has one of the coolest Noble Phantasm animations in /Extra.
The first two are hers, after the title screen thingy.

In S2 shard will not be overtaking personalities. You can grab any Meister, the shard will have their skills (skill in using the weapon, unique traits (Maka's Gregori, Stein's uber-compatibility..)) but the personality will be your characters and it will be the one to decide compatibility.

Though there is an option to allow the shard's personality to "come alive", though it won't pull an Envy and take over the person. It will just be there to talk to the person who has the shard. These shards will be artificial.
The S1-type Shards will be in S2, though rare and scarce.

@ryugunou: Basically Kamen Rider like-protection but with added defense against supernatural attacks that ignore physical protection. Like curses.

^ What about curses that specifically ignore protections? XD
Also... what's Kamen Rider-like protection for those of us that have no interest in armoured insecty people?

Basically power armor protective enough that keeps your organs and bones nice and safe even when getting punched by guys who can tear down reinforced concrete pillars like moist biscuits with their bare hands.

Right... so I actually have some idea how good that actually is, Stri, what would the following do to it if they hit: unbreakable nodachi swung with human strength, weird magical sword thing with just about superhuman strength, steampunk gatling gun that kills most thing by number of shots (highly accurate), unbreakable weapons that tear through buildings like butter (different from fists because all the force is concentrated), and beams of destruction that leave no trace of a castle?

Hmm...I'd never actually given any thought to what August's sword form looks like, or if it gains abilities other than controlling metal when it has soul resonance.

Because my imagination likes to be a big jerk and give my decision making more choices than it can handle, I'm posting a bunch of alternate paths that Mary could follow, to see which you guys think is best.
Mary has Blight, loosely raising him. She marries and Earthbender, and has twins, adopts a water bender, and is pregnant again come S2. She has a mask as well as various intricate tattoos to destinguish herself from Alicia.
Mary has Blight, and soon after transforms back into her demon form due to Gig's manipulation. She proceeds to live a life of crime, raising her son to do the same. Come S2, she's busy spreading chaos through the Multiverse with Blight by her side.
Mary has Blight, and is soon after transformed back into her original body with the assistance of the Brotherhood. She stays with the brotherhood in hopes of redeeming herself after the slaughter of 78.4 people, as well as for child service. Come S2 she is working as a pilot on a small Brotherhood ship.
Mary has Blight, and, with the aid of the Brotherhood, her appearance is altered to look less like Alicia, although her actual body was lost under the mass of curses placed on her over the course of S1. Mary goes back to Lilim, and becomes a Pro-Gamer. Come S2, she is newly married to some powerless dude.
Mary has Blight, and dies soon after, becoming a Prinny enslaved to Gig. Come S2, Mary has almost saved up enough for reincarnation.
Mary dies, becoming a Prinny in Gig's service, while Blight becomes a demon child. Come S2, Mary has almost saved up enough for reincarnation.

I like the sounds of the first, third and fourth, personally.
Also, I'm going to try to put a list of all the characters I'm considering for season two up at some point soonish in the hopes of actually whittling it down to five. Since my brain has apparently decided that I should try to decide which of them I'll be using again. >.<

I like the third option.
Although in the "Motherless blight" scenarios, Anny would probably take him in... and hand him off to Calico after Mischief yelled at her for wanting a child.

-deep breath- Okay, let's take it from the top. First off, the two that I'm definitely using: Caillou, a magician from Recettear. He's kind of a jerk and because of something he says in the game, he will be a trap at times. Uses giant exploding spiky ice blocks, explosions centered on himself, magic missiles (apparently good for attacking the darkness), homing energy orbs and random teleportation spells. Not sure what faction he'd be with. Tachi, who will at that point be a Disgaea demon. He'll be a lot less stammery and shy this time and will pretty much be a full time trap. He'll be using a weapon which switches between being a bladed metal ring, a pair of swords and a bow. Also, he'll probably have his own island kingdom in a generic fantasy world. Technically unattached to any faction, although he'll probably still be friends with the Meow Dynasty. Now then, with those two out of the way, the ones I'm considering...I'm just going to say look them up on a wiki if there's a good one that explains their powers/personality. Eclair Madolche, Princess Puddingcess of the Madolche Chateau. A stupidly strong little girl that has the power to conjure any dessert she can think of out of thin air, also she will always come back to life several minutes after dying. Personalitywise, she's cheerful, energetic, has a massive sweet tooth and is a bit of a ditz. Sita Vilosa, a swordswoman from the imaginatively named Sword Girls. She's extremely skilled with a sword or any item that can be used as a sword, can create razor wind by swinging her sword, is able to break almost any magical barrier by touching it and looks damn good in a suit. She's quiet and serious most of the time, but genuinely cares about those that she considers her friends. She has a ridiculous appetite. Vernika Answer another swordswoman from the above game. She's got less of a focus on swordsmanship and more on magic, namely healing spells, barriers, barrier breaking spells and spells to enhance the physical abilties of her allies. She's loud energetic and a bit of a cosplay geek, she's fond of forcing her closest friends into embarrassing outfits. Also comes in insane vampire flavour. Godot, the legendary prosecutor from the Ace Attorney series. Next up, a generic demon unit. Haven't given much thought to what their personality would be like, but it would either be a gunslinger or a scout. Whichever one it is, they'd have the Magun. Eve, the tsundere loli gynoid from Elsword. Mitsuru Asahina, a combat waiter from the future. He can shoot lasers from his eyes. He is every bit as shy and submissive as his female counterpart. Um...there were others, but this list's long enough already, ehehe...
