The sun was shining on a beautiful summers day... and many youkai, fairies, and other miscellaneous hangers-on paused when vast, smoky beams could be seen rising from the other side of Youkai Mountain for a brief period, then disappearing again. Then they came back, their size and reoccurence suggesting it wasn't danmaku. Faint strains of some odd noise could also be heard.
Satori 'heard' all of this second hand as she walked from the exit to the underground to more civilised environs. Not that the fairies had any idea what it could be...

Marisa had heard about what had happened. And it was, doubtlessly, an incident. And Marisa was an incident resolver! Of course, this meant that she needed to show up and find out just what was going on. Whatever it was, she would resolve it... And beat Reimu! Reimu was her chief rival in all this, and therefore she would definitely have to beat her to it... and then gloat. And then drop by Alice's house, tease the yokai magician, and steal some books. That wasn't connected to the incident resolution, that was just something Marisa liked to do.
The blonde witch cruised low over the trees, then spotted something moving below. Some fairies, probably, likely coming up to randomly shoot at her. As fairies tended to do. Well, it'd be fun, if very basic, danmaku, and... that glimpse of purple hair... that seemed familiar. Investigation was required, regardless. Perhaps the familiar purple-haired person had caused the incident! Marisa quickly flew lower, and-
Satori?!
The... satori?! Satori had actually come above ground? This was undeniably suspicious. Also, it would be a good time for Marisa to try and sneak into Chireiden and steal anything of value without the satori peeking into her mind... but she had an incident to resolve(and beat Reimu to resolving), and Satori above ground seemed like a good place to start.
