It was a peaceful afternoon in Shinwamachi, seemingly no different from any other summer day. The sun shone brightly as people rushed about beneath the golden disc, attempting to avoid its heat. Nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary. Most of the inhabitants were blissfully unaware of the invasion force that would be entering their city mere hours from now.
The city's shopping district was full of people. They rushed around looking to buy anything from herbal remedies to air conditioners to the latest video games. Of course, some were just there to escape the summer heat in an air conditioned mall.
The beachfront was similarly crowded as people rushed to the sea to try to cool down.
In the middle of the city stood a rather non-descript office building, something that wouldn't really stand out to anyone. This building was the headquarters of ATLAS. Despite its bland outer appearance, the inside of the building was far more interesting. In the lobby stood a bronze statue of a man, hunched over, carrying the world on his shoulders. A woman in her early thirties sat behind a desk, typing away.
Deeper within the building were a number of facilities, clean laboratories where scientists worked on new ways to deal with the monsters, training rooms with dummies for melee fighters and shooting ranges for gunslingers and mages alike, a command room where monitors showed footage of various locations throughout the city where the monsters were prone to attacking, an armory and...oddly enough, kitchens, bedrooms and basically anything the people called in from overseas could need during their stay.
Within one of the kitchens, a white haired girl was looking over a cookbook, she was going to make sure she made a good impression on these people. And what better way than a cake? Everyone likes cake, so it had to work.

Of course, making a cake was made rather more difficult than it had to be for one simple reason: there was a blonde girl snoring on one of the countertops, curled up and tail swishing occasionally. It was hard not to notice her underwear with the position she was in; Mikoto's clothing wasn't really that long. And, of course, the swishing tail got in the way of a rather important drawer.

Fiona Farwell was, as usual, feeling somewhat grumpy. Arms folded as she walked, she frowned. She had wanted to go to the beach before the events of tonight, but it was so incredibly crowded when they got there that they couldn't even find a decent spot. Naturally, this was not at all pleasing to Fiona, who had only now ceased complaining about stupid people taking all the good spots. She had been looking forward to her beach visit before all the monsters started pouring in from another dimension, and it had just been ruined by the presence of too many people taking all the good spots to set up. Even the ridiculously-fancy beach umbrella they had packed did nothing to improve the quality of the remaining spots, and there was far too little room. Her beach visit ruined, Fiona was now marching through the beachfront in the effort to find something, anything, entertaining to do. The sight of the small girl clad in an blue bikini and a large manatee-themed floating ring around her waist and looking incredibly irritated was a bit odd, on such a nice day for the beach as this.
"Hmph," began Fiona as she walked, "Stupid people, taking all the good spots... why couldn't they all come at different times? There would be more room, and there'd be more good spots! Idiots."
It still made her so angry! It was stupid to come in such large amounts all at once, why would they do such a dumb thing? How dare they ruin her day at the beach!
Noriko placed the stack of cards down on the table. She had... a lot. A huge number of cards, she'd even purchased a few more packs of cards today. The source of the cards hardly mattered what mattered was the enchantments she placed upon them. pushing the stack of cards aside for a few moments, she took out a stick of chalk and quickly drew out a small circle on the table. She was quick, putting in various details as rapidly as possible. The inner circle, the outer circle, the symbols between them, and the central, larger symbol. Once she was finished, she placed the stack of cards on top of the chalk circle, and held her hand over them. With that, she began to speak.
"May these objects, that without the traits of that which is beyond man's power to create, be imbued with the nature of fire. May they be rent apart by flame, tearing themselves and my foe asunder, she commanded, eyes fixed on the cards. The circle glowed, a faint red, the chalk seeming to vanish, and a strange translucent flame seemed to surround the cards.
Of course, she was doing this right in the middle of one of the recreational rooms.
Food. Someone was cooking. Okay, Amelia couldn't exactly tell, but she thought she had seen someone enter the kitchen and that normally meant that there was going to be food! And Amelia wanted food. Okay, so she usually wanted food... but that just meant she would take any opportunity to get it! Eagerly, she rushed for the kitchen door and shoved it open. "Are you making food? Can I watch? Can I taste-test?"
The little demon girl eagerly hurried over to the white-haired girl with the cookbook, her twintails bouncing as she went. "What are you making? Is it a cake? That looks like the right kind of book for a cake... Cakes are great!"

When it came to getting the best spots on a crowded beach, Beatrix was a total master. All she had to do was be there incredibly early, then catch up on all the sleep she would have had to miss once she'd set up her spot! It was a flawless, genius plan that only herself could think up.
Wearing a one-piece swimsuit, Beatrix had figured she would wake up quickly enough to apply sunscreen and then go swimming, but given that she had been staying up way past her bedtime for the past two weeks, she was still deeply asleep, unprotected from the sun and her umbrella having been knocked aside quite a while ago.
...Well, even the greatest of plans had a 0.1% failure rate!

Down the shoreline at the beach a shirtless figure ran, pausing occasionally to punch at unseen enemies. While the shadow-boxing and jogging might not have seemed unusual all by themselves, there were some things about the scene that stuck out.
The first thing that was odd about the scene was that the jogger was dragging massive metal containers behind him that happened to be chained to his feet. They created large tunnels in the sand as he shuffled them along at remarkably high speed, seeming to hardly be slowed down.
The other unusual thing about the scene was that the jogger was loudly singing the theme from Rocky as he ran, oblivious to all the strange looks he was getting from everyone and the fact that that he was partially getting it wrong.
"Da-na-na-nana-na!!! FEELIN' STRONGAH!!!..."

Alex wandered through a hallway. He didn't exactly feel like training right now, so the trap was looking for something else to do or someone to talk to. Peeking into one of the building's recreational rooms, he spotted something that caught his interest. Well, two things. The first was some kind of ritual involving fire and what appeared to be a deck of cards. The second was the girl performing the ritual. He shook his head and entered the room, those kinds of thoughts weren't exactly appropriate when meeting someone for the first time.
"Good afternoon, miss." he greeted, approaching Noriko.
Momoko frowned slightly as she spotted the sleeping girl. Having someone asleep on the counter would make baking a cake difficult. She could try to wake her up, but the blonde might get angry if sshe tried that. Maybe she could just work around her? Before she could decide on what to do, the white haired girl found her attention drawn elsewhere.
Smiling, she turned to face Amelia. "Yes, it's going to be a big chocolate cake for all the new recruits. And of course you can taste-test it."

"Hey, don't get so worked up about it," Kagami said, gun securely stashed in her signature bright red jeans (actually inside her thigh, truthfully, but Fiona didn't need to know her body's malleable nature) and Mr. Teddy in one hand, "The day isn't over yet and the good weather is set to continue. Now, if you get up earlier tomorrow, then maybe we can arrive at a half decent time..."
Oblivious, Mikoto kept snoring away.

As he continued his usual training regimen, Ryohei noticed an unusual sight on the beachfront. A small girl was lying asleep on the beach, without any protection from the sun.
The boxer ran up to the sleeping figure, the huge metal containers tethered to his feet leaving massive lines in the sand as he did. While the sun's fiery rays could only enhance the burning passion of his manly soul with their heat, little girls usually had no such protection.
Seizing a nearby umbrella, he raised it high above his head and unleashed it into the sand at the girl's feet with a cry of "WHOA-AH!!!!!" causing a small sand explosion in a circle around them with the pressure of the strike, and ensuring the umbrella would never again be so cowardly as to desert it's friend in themidst battling against sunburns.
"There you go!" Ryohei grinned at a job well done.

As a small wave of sand washed over her, Beatrix's eyes snapped open. With the gritty substance entering her mouth, the young girl was immediately on her hands and knees, gagging and trying to spit the sand out. After several moments of this, the watery-eyed girl stared at the person holding her umbrella, indignant rage clearly visible on her face.
"...Wh-who do you think you are?!" Beatrix growled, waving her arm to the packed beach around them. "If you're gonna steal umbrellas, do it outside of my range! How the hell am I supposed to rest until the afternoon with this disturbance?!"
...Sleep may or may not be the reason that Beatrix's priorities were slightly skewed right now.
-----------------------------
Walking towards the beach with a small shopping bag, the white-haired, pale-skinned girl eyed her surroundings, looking for her companion. Shiro had requested they meet near the beach, and the pale girl had went and bought swimsuits so they could play around before they had to work. Also, it was an excuse to see Sachiko in a bathing suit. That was always a treat. But mostly so they could have fun!
...Oh, right, Shiro wanted to know if zombies could tan, so it was also kind of an experiment. But again, fun!
Coming to a stop, Shiro searched her surroundings once more.

"But this is the last day before work!" replied Fiona, angrily, turning to face Kagami and walking backwards, "I'm going to be up all night tonight, do you really think I'll be able to get up early in the morning? Baka!"
Stupid Kagami saying something stupid like that with her stupid breasts and her stupid height. There was no way Fiona could get up early with what was going to happen tonight. She wanted to have plenty of time to sleep. "Today has been completely ruined by all those idiots down at the beach!"
Because surely, they were fun-ruining idiots and nothing more. Fiona angrily adjusted her manatee-themed inflatable ring. It had started to slide down her waist. So it was being stupid too. It could've pushed down her swimsuit bottoms it it had gone further... stupid floating ring trying to undress her except it can't consciously try to undress her but it was still stupid!
Fiona, quite angry, was thinking some very odd things at the moment.
"Ah, hello," Noriko replied. The translucent flames smoldered around the cards, slowly shrinking and fading away. However, the ritual was not yet over yet. The cards would, once the ritual was finished, be enchanted with the nature of explosions. In essence, when they hit something, they would explode. Noriko had perfected her card-throwing technique, as well... However, she had to keep some focus, so she attempted to devote her attention to both the cards and the girl who had approached her.
"I think I've seen you around here a few times before," she began. The girl seemed a bit familiar to her.
"Waaaah... big cake... taste-test... yay!" Amelia pumped her fist in the air, excitement clearly plain on her face. "Cake is awesome! It's all sweet, and things like that... I'm sure, with this cake, everyone will succeed in defeating all those monsters! And thank you!"
Amelia immediately hugged the girl she did not yet know, grinning widely. This had turned out perfectly and she was sure the cake would be undeniably delicious. "I love you!"
She tended to say that to everyone who was willing to give her food.

Sachiko sighed. It was hot today, way too hot to be outside doing anything, in her opinion at least. What's more, since the new recruits were in town, she had to keep her tails hidden. Still, the nekomata couldn't help but feel a little excited for what was going to happen that night. On the plus side, the brunette was on the way to meet with one of the few people she'd consider a friend.
Glancing around, Sachiko spotted the white-haired girl. Waving, she made her way over to Shiro. Seeing the zombie definitely improved her mood a bit. "Hey Shiro-chan." she greeted, eyeing the bag her familiar held.
Giggling at Amelia's reaction, Momoko returned the childlike demon's hug. After a moment, something occured to the white-haired girl, "Oh! If I don't get started now, the cake won't be ready before they get here."
Unfortunately, there was still the issue of the girl asleep on the counter. "Umm, can you wake her up while I get the ingredients ready? It'd be really hard to make a cake with someone sleeping there."
Alex paused for a moment, trying to recall if he had met Noriko before or if she had simply seen him around the base. After considering it, the trap decided that he would never forget someone that attractive, so introductions were in order.
"Oh? I'm Alex Fenn, it's nice to meet you." he said, smiling. He looked at a spare seat near the table, "May I?"

Sighing, Kagami did the simplest thing she could think of: scoop Fiona up and carry her over one shoulder, back towards the beach. She could struggle all she wanted, but that would probably just lead to her inflatable ring stripping her, which would be rather amusing. "Look, there's still plenty of space and plenty of time, and I don't think anyone's going to bother you so long as I'm around looking threatening, so just relax and enjoy yourself, silly." Two words Momoko said entered the sleeping fox's ears and had her drowsily sit up without provocation; people often said 'wake up' and then did something drastic like toss water over her. As a result, she'd learned to pre-empt such things... and since the person responsible for her rude awakening was facing away, she decided to get their attention before moving off the counter.
Momoko would find a toe poking at her back and a grumpy kitsune with arms folded staring at the back of her head. Mikoto disliked being woken up.

"H-hey!" Fiona protested, squirming and trashing in Kagami's grip. However, Kagami was proving stronger then her so far. Where did she get off, just picking her up like this?! It wasn't right, it wasn't what she was supposed to do! This was just... tossing her around like some kind of doll, or a little kid! "Wh-what are you, stupid!? L-Let go! Baka!"
She squirmed more violently. Fiona didn't want to just be carried around like this, it was embarrassing!
... However, what was more embarrassing was the fact that her inflatable ring had been displaced by the squirming, and was now pushing down her bottoms as it slide off. Fiona froze for a moment upon feeling that something was seriously wrong.
"... W-wait..."
Immediately, Fiona attempt to prevent this from happening, which was a somewhat difficult action to take due to her position, but... she couldn't let that happen!
"But she's already awake," replied Amelia, leaning to the side a little to look past the girl with heterochromia to the girl who had been sleeping on the counter. Did she make food, too? Was that why she had been sleeping in the kitchen, or were there other reasons for her odd choice of resting spot?
"Hi!"
"I'm Murakami Noriko," Noriko introduced herself. She didn't know this person too well, so she was slightly skittish... but the girl seemed nice enough. "Ah... you can sit down, sure."
The translucent flames around her cards faded away, and she swiftly picked them up. Good, it seemed that they were fully charmed... and fully explosive.

Ryohei blinked in completely confusion, then burst into sputtering apologies as he began brushing sand away from the girl with what to some people might seem like a surprising amount of care. After a minute or so he actually realized what she was accusing him of though.
"A thief? Ha! Someone as manly as me has no need for thievery, only what he can get with his own two hands! I was only trying to return your umbrella to you after it blew away...but i'm sorry if I've interrupted you and got sand on you!!" "PLEASE ACCEPT MY APOLOGY!!" With tears in his eyes Ryohei slid into a full on bow, slamming his head into the sand in an expression of ultra-regret. This was no ordinary groveling apology! it was in fact Technique number 33 of the Manly Way-Tears of Manly Sorrow!

Fuming, Beatrix allowed the rude thief to brush away the sand from her person, waiting until he was done before she continued berating the hell out of him for his insolence. Then she was completely taken aback by the force of this strange man's apology. Standing there in stunned silence, Beatrix watched him slam his head into the sand over and over, until she finally cleared her throat.
"S-stop doing that!" She demanded. "I-I'll... I'll overlook it just this once, okay? Stop hitting your head like that!"
...Beatrix was only being lenient because she wanted to have a fun time here, after all! Besides, this was probably a good thing! Now that she was awake, she could enjoy the beach before... everyone... arrived...
"...Why are there so many people here?" Beatrix wondered aloud as she looked at her surroundings. "...Do people really come in droves so early?!"
------------------
"Heya~!" Shiro greeted her friend/saviour/ally/sparring buddy/friend again with a bright smile. "So, Sachi-chan, ready for some fun?! And relaxation!? And sand?!?"
Searching through her bag, Shiro produced a white bathing suit. "So I got us awesome swimsuits! If I can tan, I won't even be invisible in this thing! And here..."
Shiro reached into the bag again, pulling out the top half of a black bikini. Now wearing a teasing smile, Shiro continued, "I know your preferences, so I only got this half for you. Only cast half the usual price, too~"
Of course, Shiro had bought her a full swimsuit. One she found much cuter than plain old black, but hey, might as well conduct experiment the second: Do cats have any shame?

Momoko turned to face the kitsune soon after she was poked. That was one problem sorted out, although the girl looked rather grumpy. "I'm sorry for waking you," she began, bowing slightly, "I needed to use the kitchen to make a cake for everyone and I didn't notice you were there until a minute ago."
Alex took a seat beside the girl. He eyed the cards that the girl held, curious as to what she had done to them. "May I ask what you were doing with those cards?" the brit asked.
He knew that it was some kind of ritual, that much was apparent. What it had done to those cards on the other hand, was a mystery to the trap.
"Yours looks cute." The nekomata said, smiling. She glanced at the bikini top and frowned slightly. "Um, Shiro-chan..? You sure you don't have the bottom half of that?" she asked, "It's just...the last time, it kind of ended up with me getting locked up. That was just...boring."

"A cake?" Mikoto asked, brightening up immediately and hopping to the floor, humming as she moved over to some of the cupboards... and one by one got the stuff that Momoko would need out without even looking at the packets. Including things that she might not need, such as cocoa powder, icing sugar, and marzipan. "I'll help! I don't want you screwing up and getting the kitchen all dirty... I sleep here." "I'm not waiting," the bodyguard said, oblivious to her charge's slow loss of clothing and dignity as she continued carrying Fiona towards the beach. They weren't that far away, now, though the crush of people seemed to have died out due to Kagami's taking a disregarded back alley towards the beach in order to avoid accusations of kidnap. The near inaudible sound of Kasumi walking up to behind Alex was the only indication the robotic girl had entered the room. Normally, you could at least hear her because her boots were quite heavy, but inside, where she didn't want to get mud and whatever else everywhere? The cyborg magician was eerily quiet.

Amelia fell to silence, instead regarding the ingredients being deposited on the counter with shining eyes. The sleepy girl was a good cook too? This day was wonderful! And she would be the first to taste this cake, this sure-to-be wonderful cake... Restraint was not on her list of things to keep in mind right now. In fact, it was likely she would have to be stopped from attempting to devour all the cake batter when she was given some to taste-test.
Fiona's squirming became far more violent. "B-Baka! S-stop! Put me down!"
Her face was deeply flushed with embarrassment. She... desperately didn't want this. Losing her swimsuit bottoms in public... the mere thought was mortifying! They had already been pushed partway down by the ring, and only Fiona having managed to reach back with one arm and pin the ring down and hold them on was keeping them from coming off completely. At least the designs on the ring were somewhat helpful in keeping this situation from becoming even more embarrassing.
Stupid Kagami... why was she doing this?!
Fiona squirmed even more rapidly... and this served to dislodge the ring and her bottoms even more. Fiona froze, eyes wide. She... she had to do everything she could to keep them from coming all the way off.
"S-s-stupid r-ring... K-Kagami-bakaaaa!"
Looking down at her cards, and flicking through them, Noriko's smile grew. Alex was asking about her magic? Now this... this was something Noriko very much liked to talk about.
"My alignment is fire," she began, continuing to inspect her cards as she explained, without looking up. "I specialize in enchantments. I can enchant these cards with the various aspects of fire using my library of spells and charms."
Noriko looked up, stacking the cards once more. "These cards have been enchanted with the aspect of-"
Noriko froze as her eyes came to rest on the silent girl who now stood behind Alex. When... had she gotten there? Just... suddenly appearing out of no-where like that?

"Complaining about me isn't going to make me any more likely to put you down, you know," Kagami said, shaking her head and moving from the alley they were in to another. She knew of a much less populated area of the beach--generally. It was rather far from refreshments and the main steps down to it, though, so it was likely that her charge had no idea it existed. It wasn't as if she was the one that would have to go buy anything, though.
For a start, she didn't even have any pockets on her person.

There... weren't people here? There was a part of the beach where no-one was clogging it up and being annoying and stupid? That was great! Well, it would be great if now for Kagami refusing to put her down and the ring stripping her like this! What did she do to deserve such treatment?! What did she-
There was a brief moment where Fiona felt something slip down her legs and then it was gone.
Red was not quite the right word to describe the color Fiona's face had taken on. No, she was glowing crimson with embarrassment. However, where it had brought this on, the manatee ring had now saved her. It was positioned just right so the manatee designs acted as a impromptu censor, keeping anyone from seeing and making her even more embarrassed. At least no-one would know she lost the lower portion of her swimsuit if everything went okay.
But...
"K-KAGAMI-BAKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
Somehow, this was all Kagami's fault.

"Hmm...I don't know how long you were asleep for, but it's not that early anymore." The boxer paused in thought for a moment, considering.
"Yup, you slept the morning away for sure. Luckily you didn't get a sunburn!" He said with a grin.

"...The whole morning?! That's impossible!" Beatrix cried out. "I wasn't supposed to sleep that long! Th-there must be a mistake! Someone knocked me out! Time slowed down! There's just no way I could have overslept when I didn't want to!"
Growling with frustration, Beatrix cast a dark glare at her surroundings. Stupid random commoners, butting into her beach time... and whoever made her sleep longer than she wanted to was mean as well. It certainly wasn't her own fault at all, because that would be ridiculous.
----------
"You've already tried?" Shiro asked, interest piqued. "Wow! Why wasn't I informed?!"
Fishing around the shopping bag once more, Shiro produced another swimsuit - a light blue bikini that left little to the imagination. "But yeah, I got you a cuter one! I woulda got one with cat-faces, but I could only find them in the kid's section!"

This girl was going to help? Well, that should make sure everything went smoothly. But with the amount of stuff she was getting out without looking at the book, Momoko worried that this person didn't know what they were doing, in which case the cake, and her awesome first impression, would be ruined. Either that or she knew exactly what she was doing and Momoko wouldn't need to get involved...in which case she wouldn't have a cake she made just for her new friends to make her first impression memorable.
"Um, okay..." she mumbled.
"Eh? Hmm...you never asked." the nekomata replied. "Besides, there's really not much to it."
Sachiko looked at her bikini before smiling at Shiro, "Cat faces? Hm, I think I'll be okay without them. This should be good enough. Now then, where do we go to change?"

"Right! All the ingredients you need to bake a cake, any cake, are there! Essentials in the middle, flavourings to the right, decorations to the left," the kitsune said, stepping back and grinning, "Except for icing sugar; I left that in the cupboard because it always makes me sneeze. If you want to do icing, you'll have to do that yourself. I recommend buttercream icing. It tastes so much better!"
... she was an odd fox. Kasumi's face betrayed no emotion as she put a finger to her lips, indicating that Noriko should be quiet, and crouching down so that her mouth was level with Alex's ear. One, to three...
"BOO!" "I'm not an idiot! Anyway, we're here," Kagami announced cheerfully, putting the girl down on the sunny beach and spreading a blanket. Something seemed wrong, though, and when she looked up... "Heh, cute butt, mistress... but are you sure it's a good idea to show it off like this? You'll get all the wrong sorts of attention."

Amelia was paying little to no attention to the explanation of ingredients. Instead, she was staring at the ingredients with shining eyes, in awe of the deliciousness they would surely create. For it would be a cake. A wonderful, glorious cake.
"Waaaah...."
Noriko jumped. Okay, so she knew it was coming, or at least that something like that was coming. But it was so sudden, and it just... it really startled her! She swiftly pulled her hat down and shut her eyes tightly. Somehow, the trick had managed to effect the person it wasn't even slightly directed at.
Fiona wanted to bury her face in the sand, at this point. Her temper had completely taken over. She could've just asked Kagami to stop and grab her swimsuit bottoms so she could get them back on. But instead, she had yelled. A lot. It wasn't rare for this kind of thing to happen. At the moment, Fiona was frustrated and deeply embarrassed. She made to try and cover her rear while holding onto her floating ring to keep it from sliding off and making things much, much worse. She turned to face Kagami, blushing deeply and averting her eyes.
"Sh-shut up... g-go and g-get my swimsuit b-bottoms! Th-they can't be f-far away..."

As Beatrix glared, she might notice something odd. Namely, that a small black cat with what appeared to be an eyepatch was rapidly approaching, dodging and weaving between the legs of assorted beachgoers as it went. Finally, the furball leapt, landing behind the small girl.

Beatrix had just barely noticed the cat as she was about to glare at the athletic guy again, and gave it a curious gaze when it came to a stop at her feet. Turning and kneeling, Beatrix wondered what the cat wanted. And why it had an eye-patch. And if it had an owner.
"...What do you want, kitty?" Beatrix asked, her foul mood slowly dissipating. "Did you sense my displeasure and come to my aid? Well, aren't you considerate! Wanna be my friend?"
It was a terrible shame Beatrix was never allowed pets due to her inability to care for an animal any longer than a week, because she was totally a loving owner!
-------------------------
Opening her mouth to reply, Shiro remained completely still, as if frozen for a few moments. Until she suddenly chirped brightly, "No idea!"
Casting a glance in the beach's direction, the undead familiar tried to find some sort of facility that would accommodate one hoping to change.
"...I think... there's something... somewhere...?" Shiro wondered aloud, her information clearly providing a lot of details to work from.
"...You sure there's nothing much to say about changing?" Shiro asked suddenly, hoping to cover up the fact she'd yet to locate anywhere they could change.

By now Ryohei was also kneeling down and looking at the kitten.
"Unless the world suddenly got much more manly, adorable abandoned kittens don't usually wear eyepatches, right? So that must mean that someone out there really cares for this cat! Therefore, as a man and as a human being it is my duty to see that it is returned to it's rightful owner with all the effort my fiery soul can muster!!!! It needs to be part of a heartwarming reunion with its owner so we can't keep it!!! no matter how soft and fluffy and adorable...and cute...?"
It was at this point that Ryohei devolved into a being focused solely on the adorableness of the kitty, petting it and making occasional baby-talk noises in it's general direction, all pretenses of manliness tossed aside.

Momoko blinked as she glanced at the kitsune. She was just getting the ingredients ready? Well, that was a relief. Stepping over to the counter, the white-haired girl got to work. From the amount of time she spent peeking at the cookbook, it was kind of clear that she didn't know sure how to make a cake off the top of her head. On the plus side, at least she wasn't making any mistakes.
Alex flinched. Something like that when he hadn't even heard the person's approach was...surprising. Recovering quickly, the crossdresser turned to greet the newcomer.
Nice legs, ehehe~
"Ah, hello miss. I didn't hear you come in."
Sachiko joined her familiar in surveying the sandy region in search of somewhere to change.
"Hmm, well not really. I came to the beach, didn't have the bottom half of my swimsuit on, someone panicked and called the police..." she paused, "I guess the chase was kinda fun, but I had to hold back...and let them catch me eventually."
The cat purred as it was petted. Forgetting the fearsome monster that had caused it to flee in the first place.
Said being soon came into view, narrowly avoiding stepping on a sunbather as she ran to the pair. Glaring down at them, the blonde girl folded her arms in front of her chest. A couple of things that would probably be fairly noticable were the girl's outfit, a frilly orange two piece swimsuit and the fact that her eyes seemed to be different colours, one red and one yellow.
"And what do you two think you're doing with my familiar?" she asked.

"Oh, umm... scales are in the top-left cupboard, bowls are in the one directly below it," Mikoto supplied helpfully, walking over to another nearby cupboard and getting out an apple. She would rather have gone for some of the meat she knew was stored, but people tended to be bothered by the sight of someone eating uncooked meat. She was a fox, though, so what did they expect? Silly people. "I was being quiet," Kasumi said, looking at him as if he was an idiot. The cyborg was actually rather disappointed that he had recovered so quickly, people like that were just no fun. Now, if only she had been in the seat occupied by this girl here... "Fine, fine, just try not to get arrested whilst I'm gone," Kagami protested, pouting and turning to look for Fiona's swimsuit bottoms. Five minutes later, she was back, spinning the lost article of clothing around her finger and looking pleased with herself. She seemed to be waiting for something... but what?
