It was time once again for one of the most difficult, dangerous, heartrending and legendary challenges ever faced by any parent in the multiverse...
Finding a babysitter for the kids to get some free time for the weekend.
August had just taken on an incredibly high paying job at the last minute, in this case slaying a dragon of the "incredibly high intelligence with a natural aptitude for powerful magic in addition to being an incredibly gigantic, flying, predatory fire-breathing serpent" variety. It was expected to take a while to bring it down and because of the inherent level of danger involved he was taking Lemon along for backup since as a former adventurer she had some experience with dragons.
So, the kids would be all alone unless he could somehow find a babysitter fast. The Noelles had already said they were busy and in fact trying to find a babysitter for Kun, Falkon and Ty Lee were at a business conference, Toph was on an all-weekend-long stakeout operation and after last few times most of the Hades Party and August's old-time villain friends weren't allowed to babysit.
It was clear now that there was only one option left. They would have to rely on...
Grey's Babysitting Service!

It was a good day on a certain island in a certain world. The weather was mild, the blue sky dotted here and there with lazy clouds. Sunlight trickled through the foliage and dappled the rainbow assortment of plants growing underneath, their gardener taking the time to jot down the various rate of growths in a journal.
Donning a white sundress and a straw, the ice mage smiled as her efforts were bearing fruit. The fruits and vegetables were healthy, successful hybrids. "Hm... In a week, I should be able to export the Sweet Tomatoes, and maybe the miniaturized Giant Leeks..." Ticking off the boxes, Grey gave off a smile. Glancing at the sun, the mage felt a jolt of surprise prick at her.
The white haired girl had clearly lost track of time! The kids were due to arrive soon, and she wasn't presentable. Dashing back into the cottage, Grey washed herself up and went to work tidying the place, the majority of the house covered in various journals, notes, and strange implements that had to be cleared away.

The bright and peaceful day on that certain island was interrupted by a sound sort of like paper being cut through as the fabric of space-time was sliced open from another dimension.
Rather than being the start of a cosmic horror story, some world destroying event, or the low-budget plot to some cheaply written B-movie-classic alien invasion, it was just August dropping off his kids before heading off on his trip. They were both clinging onto his arms, Dollstop admiring the picturesque scenery they suddenly found themselves in and Tangelo pressed up against his father nervously, though more excited than afraid.
"Ah Toriko, such an amazing and fun place to be! Anyway, i'm sure Grey is around here somewhere and-unfortunately-their probably aren't any incredibly dangerous creatures around here. It's a wasted training opportunity if you ask me, but you boys be good for her and try to have fun anyway, okay? Oh, and just in case I'm wrong about the dangerous creatures, take this fork! Bye-bye!"
August handed Dollstop the fork and a note for Grey, shook Tangelo loose from himself as gently as possible then stepped back through the time-space rift, leaving the two children standing just outside Grey's cottage.
"U-umm Dolly, did Daddy just leave us alone to get eaten by monsters...?"
The other young boy twirled the fork dismissively and frowned. "Don't be a dummy, 'gelo. If Master really wanted us to fight monsters he would never have given me a weapon as useful as a fork!"

Mary was sitting at the helm of a Brotherhood scout ship, busy scanning the multiverse, now that she had finished... "Scolding" Ten for leaving his GPS within Horatio's reach.
On a certain island on a certain planet, a small boy of indeterminate age appeared in mid air, dropping a few feet, and landing on his feet.
"I SHALL FIND THE COOKIES!!" He said, although it would sound quite different, as he had said it in Klingon. How he had learned to speak Klingon, no one was entirely certain(Although a few of Mary's crew mates theorized that he had been sneaking off to Qo'noS)...
Tearing out one of his Fish Head's eyes, he charged into the unknown that was this certain island, on this certain planet, and he did not chew before swallowing...
For he was Horatio Daiskander Chodenji Nibelungelied Rose V, THE GREATEST ADVENTURER IN THE MULTIVERSE!

The train roared to a stop as John leapt down, Kun riding piggyback and giggling as her father broke his transformation.
"Well, Kun, how'd you enjoy the ride?"
Kun hugged her father's head with a wide smile. "Awesome, daddy! All the loops an' the pretty sky an' the bridge an' the nice sand... Oh, Doll! 'Gelo!"
Kun began bobbing up and down excitedly as John neared the house and his two grandchildren.
"...Did August leave you here alone again? I thought I talked with him about this..."

Tangelo immediately glomped onto Kun, whereas Dollstop just stood nearby and grinned, despite looking like he wanted to join in and was having trouble not doing so.
He looked up at John and smiled nervously, embarassed to have to cover for his dad. "But it's okay Grampa! We're real close by to the house, and this time Master even gave me a fork!" He held up his mighty utensil-weapon for his grandfather's inspection, grinning as the sunlight gleamed off of it's pointy metallic surface.

Alicia was right behind John, although she looked a bit dizzy. The train didn't make her sick like before, but still, she didn't like being in it for a long time. Even with that, nothing was going to stop her from making sure her daughter was going to stay with a good babysitter.
While the world around her did interest her, she was more focused on her daughter and her grandsons. "Hello, Dollstop, Tangelo." she said, giving both of them a pat in the head. She turned back to Kun. "Now, don't forget what I told you before, Kun: be nice to the babysitter, alright? Make sure she has fun too. Thinking about it, I should probably give her some way to contact me. What if something bad happens? Of course she'll need to call me. Right, John? Right?"

Kun pulled Dollstop into the hug, a wide smile on her face. "But mommy, I've got Doll an' Gelo to protect me from anythin'!"
John smiled and ruffled Kun's hair. "Well, yes, but we need to know if anything's wrong, right?" John turned to Alicia. "We've still got the GPS knocking around the house somewhere, we'll give Grey the number."

Done with tidying up the place, the frantic woman grabbed at a nearby Soda Watermelon before expertly jabbing her Melk Knife into its peel and twisting out a perfect circle. Popping a faucet into the hole and freezing a part of the fruit's inside, she guaranteed a refreshment for her guests to come. Hearing voices outside her doorstep, she hastened outside with the fruit- only to slip on a muddy patch of earth and begin lurching forward into a fall. "Kyah!"

Grey would find her fall coming to an abrupt end, as the small child of indeterminate age, who had apparently been close enough to see her fall and beam himself over, had planted his hands into her stomach, and was attempting to push her up.
"NuqneH!" He said in greeting, "Do you know where I can find some COOKIES?!"

Both Dollstop and Tangelo soon ran over to help at pushing Grey back to her feet, which was made considerably easier with Tangelo's half-demon strength. Dollstop was mainly busy trying to keep the fruit from falling onto the ground, though he gave the odd, fishy smelling child next to him a puzzled look before his face lit up with something sort of like recognition.
"U-umm, "nuqneH, tlhIngan Hol vIjatlhaHbe’. DIvI' Hol Dajatlh 'a'? ...I think?" August insisted that being a professional adventurer left no time for studying and schoolwork, but he also insisted that Doll memorize key phrases from as many different world's languages as possible in case of emergencies in a place where convenient translations didn't apply. The only other phrase he knew for this situation was "Buy or Die!" though.
Tangelo looked back and forth between the two children, though he had switched from holding Grey up to hugging her by this point
"Why are you two talking weird? Umm...did they get broken, 'cause sometimes Doll gets broken..."

Horatio looked at Dollstop with a puzzled expression. "How can you tell me you don't speak tlhIngan, while speaking in tlhIngan?" He asked, "Seems pretty silly to me!"

Alicia watched the entire situation with a raised eyebrow. She walked up to Grey, helping her get back up on her feet. "Hello there," she said, trying her best to seem reassuring, even though this entire "leave Kun with a babysitter" thing was really new to her. She had never left Zhi or Qiang with a babysitter, and to leave one of the most precious people in the world with someone else, well, it made her freak out a little bit. "I'm Alicia... that's my husband, John... you must be the babysitter, correct? The one August recommended?"

"Yes... thank you all." Flushing slightly from the scene, the mage wished that she could have given off a better first impression. Looking at all the children, a worm of doubt wriggled its way into her mind. Perhaps she had been too hasty in accepting.
Shaking out such thoughts a moment later, Grey bowed down towards Alicia. "Yes, I'm the babysitter. The name's Grey, miss..." A feeling of deja vu struck her as she glanced at the woman, implying she had either seen her before or at least someone that looked a lot like her.

Tangelo tugged on Grey's hand, warily watching both Dollstop and Alicia in case either one had one of their stabby episodes. He wasn't particularly afraid of Doll's potential "dissection mode" attacks since there were so many grownups around and he was used to them by now. But Alicia was truly really scary when she got like that, even if the half-demon had never seen her hurt anyone.
At just this second however, he was distracted by something else. "U-umm Grey...why does the....sweet...juice...fruit...umm...the melon! Why does it have a...fosset! It has a fosset sticking out of the top like a sink or a bath! Why's that there? Is it so we can take a bath? 'Cause melon juice is too sticky even if it'd smell nice."
He peered at it on the tips of his toes to get a better view of the faucet and the odd melon.

"Noelle. Alicia Noelle." Alicia replied, smiling. Well, she didn't seem like a bad babysitter. And there was something oddly familiar about her. "I'm here with my husband to leave my daughter with you for a while... Kun? Why don't you come and say hi to the babysitter? Be a nice young lady."

Kun smiled and bowed.
"It's nice to meet you miss Grey! My name is Kun Noelle an' these are my nephews Tangelo an' Doll, even if Doll's older than me!"
She looked up at John and Alicia for approval. John smiled and rustled his daughter's hair. "You play nice for Grey, okay?"

"I'm..." Horatio began to introduce himself, before pausing, and breathing in as much as he could, puffing out his chest as he did, "HoratioDaiskanderChodenjiNibelungeliedRose THE FIFTH!"
After he finished saying his name in a single exhale, he panted a little, before inspecting the melon.

Resisting the temptation to glomp the children straight then and there, Grey instead gave off a small smile. "I'll take care of your wonderful children with everything I have." Glancing down at the curious ones who glanced at the melon, the mage chuckled before setting the fruit down on a metal holder.
"It's a Soda Watermelon. It naturally produces high quality cola like so." Turning the faucet, fizzy red liquid gushed out into a cup. "Would the adults like some before you all leave?" Grey asked as she continued to fill up more containers with the naturally bubbly fruit juice.

"Uh, no thanks. I don't drink... a lot." Alicia added under her breath. "We have a number you can call, if anything happens. Oh, and before I go, if you want to give Kun candy, don't give her too much. Also, she's afraid of heights. And finally, watch out if she sneezes really hard. It can be quite a blast."

Kun was still hugging onto her father's leg, but soon let go to tug on Doll and Tangelo.
"Come on, introduce yourselves to Ms. Grey!"
John continued where Alicia left off, handing Grey the phone number.
"Here's our number in case anything happens. She shouldn't cause any trouble, she's a good girl, but keep her away from strange animals or she'll try to pet them. Oh, and if we're not back by then, bedtime is eight o' clock."

Dollstop tilted his head and gave Kun a confused sort of look. "Why? Grey knows us already 'cause Master comes to this world a lot for work so it'd be silly to introduce ourselves again right? But umm...I'm Dollstop L Noelle...and umm...that really is my real name."
Tangelo nodded, though he was already helping himself to the fruity cola, his mouth having gotten all red and sticky. "Yup! Daddy n' Grey are friends kinda, n' she's really nice! I'm Tangelo Durian Noelle, Future Conqueror of the Known Multiverse!"
Dollstop sighed at Tangelo's needless titles and was about to go and wipe his brother's mouth off since Grey was busy talking with the grownups but he noticed that what he was about to use as a napkin was August's note. He moved closer to Grey and tugged on her hand. "U-umm...Master asked me to give you this, I think."
The note read:
Hi-hi Grey!~ Since neither of the kids are strong enough to help me fight a dragon yet I thought I'd leave them with you since I know you think kids are adorable and all! Make sure to keep Dollstop away from anything sharper than a fork so he doesn't have one of his dissection episodes...unless you want something sliced up really neatly, obviously! In that case he's the cutest little blender ever! Feel free to use him for any kind of low-level jobs you want done too, we've been working on his knocking skills lately!
Umm...anyway, Lemon says to keep 'gelo away from anything with a dangerous capture level and remind him that he has superhuman strength before he tries to hug things. Also, Try to keep both of them away from anything with lots of sugar even though i'm sure that won't be a problem. Time differences mean we'll probably be back some time tonight but if not make sure they're in bed by eight, we don't have an emergency contact number, the dragon might find a way to pick up on it!"
Thanks,
August!

As Horatio was munching on his fish head, his pocket lit up, and music played, as the strange boy frantically grasped for what appeared to be a Brotherhood "GPS", and silenced it.

"So... cute..." If there was anything Grey loved as much as traps and good food in life, it was the pure innocence and cuteness of children. It wasn't like she wanted to bask in the radiance, no. She just wanted to observe it, yep.
Reading the note while keeping an ear on the antics, the would be babysitter then reassured the parents and guardians that all will be right. "Hm... Is there anything you all want to do right now?" Peering down at the munchkins, the Glacial Master gave off a small smile. "There's not much electronics here though, so no video games or television."

"Do you play 'Spin the Explosive Bottle'?" Horatio asked, "I made it up myself! You spin a bottle, and instead of..." He coughed as he said the next word, "...kissing... the person it points at, the person EXPLODINATES!"
Horatio paused to nibble on his fish head. "No one ever wants to play, though. Not sure why."

"Alright then." Alicia said, kissing Kun in the cheek before giving her a goodbye hug. "Be a nice little girl, okay?"
She stood up, bowed once more towards Grey and made her way back to the train. "What's a videogame, I wonder..." she said to herself as she entered the vehicle.

Kun returned the hug with a bright-eyed smile while John gave her a hug as well.
"Yes Mommy and Daddy!" Kun chirped, waving goodbye and moving over to Doll and Tangelo, "I promise I'll be good for Ms. Grey!"
John smiled and took Alicia's hand, leading her back to the train.

"Umm...what's a videogame?" Dollstop asked, a confused look on his face. He knew that TVs were used to watch programs and the basics of how that worked and why, but it seemed he was apparently completely unfamiliar with even the word.
"U-umm....they're things on a TV screen that you press buttons for n' then they go 'pew pew!!' and do cool stuff an' they're really fun!" Tangelo explained, trying his best to be helpful "Umm...how come you don' know that, Dolly?"
For a minute Dollstop looked flustered that his little brother would know something he didn't, frantically trying to justify himself "W-well u-umm...I'm out traveling and doing cool stuff with Master, so u-umm, I-I don't really have time to play silly unimportant TV games..."
That part was more or less true. August didn't consider video games themselves to be an important part of a wandering hero's education so much as the tropes, tricks and conventions they contained, which Dollstop could easily learn by just traveling to those worlds. Not to mention for at least five days out of every week the little swordsman would almost never be in anything that could vaguely resemble a house unless they were taking a mission involving cities or civilized places. There was no sense spoiling him like that, according to August.
"b-but anyway! Um...is it really okay to play a game where people explodinate at the end?"
