Round One - Roy and Dollstop
Roy walked through the halls of Anny and Mischief's resort, the beret under his arm. He usually had to go on meetings with Anny to talk about how she would provide rooms and more for vacationing Brotherhood members. Those meetings usually delved into heartwarming conversations about how everything was going, with Roy always congratulating Anny and Mischief for the fact their marriage stood and will always stand the test of time. This time, however, he had something else on his mind: he had heard from them that August was on the resort. He never missed a chance to talk with his past subordinates (and try to talk him into coming back to the Brotherhood).
He was quite surprised, however, to spot Dollstop sitting on a bench outside August's room, apparently waiting. He sat besides the kid, glancing at him. "Hello, Dollstop." he said, a smile appearing on his face as he patted the boy's shoulder. "How are things going?"

Round One - Yuna and Baijiu Yuna stood outside of the dungeon, looking at it oddly. She then turned to her GPS. "Huh... The scanner shows some strange waves coming from here... Could it be a Dressphere? I hope it is..." Yuna said. She had called for Shane to accompany her, but for some reason, Shane wasn't coming. "Well... Might as well go in..." Yuna said as she was about to enter the dungeon.

Round One - Yuna and Baijiu Yuna was actually the second to arrive at the dungeon, though not by much. Scant minutes before, a martial artist had arrived, briefly wandering this world to sharpen her skills once more. This, ultimately, was the reason the blind female was held up so much in comparison to the summoner: her skills weren't yet sharp enough to just plough through the obstacles. Including some traps in addition to the general collapse of dungeons. Just who the hell put traps in these things? How did they ever FINISH the place? Not least because a particularly nasty one involve about a dozen spears coming from various angles. Baijiu had successfully avoided most of them, but a few were just too oddly placed to avoid. Annoyed, the redhead had wasted time snapping them off before ripping the other out of her thigh, giving Yuna ample time to catch up.

Round One - Yuna and Baijiu Yuna entered the dungeon as she noticed that some of the traps were already sprung. The major problem she saw was that there were no bones. If these traps were sprung, but there is no actual bones to be found, it could mean that who ever is in this dungeon was either further up when they succumbed to their wounds... or... Chances were that they could still be alive. Yuna continued until she came across Baijiu. She didn't know who she was, but she noticed she was hurt, and probably hurting herself more by pulling some of the spears out of herself. "H-hang on..." Yuna said. She then took a Dressphere out of her pocket and activated it. She soon donned a white cloak and a staff. "I'll help with all my might!" Yuna said as she cast cure on Baijiu.

Round One: Kay and Horatio The forest was dark. Very dark. Tripping nervously through the damp, clammy foliage, the little girl stumbled through the black trees with a scared expression on her face, looking around frantically every two seconds as if she were terrified that some monster might jump out of the darkness and gobble her up. The eerie, silver glow of the full moon that filtered through the trees over her head did highlight the streaks of dirt on her light-green, flower-patterned dress and the cold beads of fright-induced perspiration gleaming on her forehead... but apart from that, they also lengthened the shadows around her… As something snapped underneath her foot with a sudden crack, Kay’s eyes widened – then she inadvertently stumbled back, bumping against some sharp, piercing thing behind her… Giving a cry of panic and fright, the girl hit the forest floor and scrambled away from whatever it was in frantic, heaving fear, her elbows scraping painfully against the dirty leaves, soil and twigs as she twisted around, eyes swimming with tears. “Ahhhh! S-Somebody, help me! Please!”

Round One - Yuna and Baijiu "Unnecessary," Baijiu said, making no attempt to avoid the healing spell and letting it wash over her. Then she resumed tearing the final spear, one that had gotten her right through the stomach AND spine, before impossibly climbing to her feet. Alarmingly, the gaping wound was already closing. A loud snap resounded and those two spears joined the other remnants on the floor. "The floor ahead is unstable," the martial artist proclaimed, taking a few steps forwards. It seemed she could hear some minute qualitative difference in the near inaudible echo from her steps that announced a hollow beneath the floor. Despite her own warning, though, she began to walk forwards without care for how the girl behind her would react to the hearing or apparent suicidal desires (it wasn't exactly clear how lightly she stepped, after all).

Round One - Yuna and Baijiu Yuna looked at shock and amazement. How the hell did she manage to do that? She must have been the one who triggered the traps. Maybe... Maybe if Yuna allowed this girl to go through the traps, seeing as she shrugged off the spear like it was nothing and regenerated, she could trigger the traps and Yuna would pass through the dungeon harmlessly. Though it seemed unfair to take advantage of this. Especially since she didn't even know who this person is. Yuna kept up with Baijiu. "So... What's your name? My name is Yuna..." Yuna said.

"Huan Baijiu," was the reply... right as the floor beneath them began to crumble into a yawning pit. Damnable dungeons and their lax safety regulations. The immortal almost casually stuck an arm out and grabbed a misshapen protrusion from the wall--probably a statue in ages past, before it eroded--whilst almost politely offering her other arm out for the treasure hunter. She wasn't sure why she did it; probably politeness in return for the healing spell.

Yuna was a little shocked when the floor gave way, jumping back. She then noticed Baijiu offering her a hand. Yuna smiled warmly as she took Baijiu's hand.

"Oh, Hi!" Dollstop recognized Roy from around but couldn't quite remember that much about him. The young swordsman usually stayed here at the resort when he wasn't out learning to be an adventuring hero from August, and he'd met Roy a few times both here and in other worlds. For some reason though, Doll seemed nervous once he noticed who he was talking to.
"U-umm, Master's busy right now, b-but i'm waiting here to talk with him when he comes back! U-umm, your name's R-roy and you used to work with Master! I-i'm Dollstop and I'm his apprentice and his ward n' I'm eight-years-old but you knew that already!!"
He stared down at the floor nervously for a little while, then looked up at Roy with an odd sort of expression.
"U-umm...wh-what other kinds of stuff do normal families talk about??"

Round 1: Kay and Horatio
Coincidentally, a small boy of indeterminate age was traveling through the forest. He was skipping blindly, and was apparently unfazed by the fact that he was constantly hitting trees.
Luckily, his skipping had brought him close enough to hear Kay scream, and he decided to check it out.
"Fear not, Nameless-Girl!" Horatio shouted, as he daringly skipped into sight of Kay, "Horatio Daiskander Chodenji Nibelungelied Rose THE FIFTH is here!"
After that, he looked around to see what had caused her to scream.

"Hahhh... huh?" Wiping her left eye with a grimy right hand, Kay looked up slowly, having stopped crying in her surprise at the sight of the strange boy - then she turned to peek timidly at the thing that had frightened her so.
It was a tree. "Oh..."
Slowly, the girl turned back to Horatio. Though she still seemed rather intimidated by her surroundings, she was peeking at him with a bit more confidence. "...I'm sorry, Mr. Horatio Daiskander Chodenji Nibelungithing, but... do you know where I am? I'm lost, and..."
Her voice trailed off, and she sniffled some. "I don't know how to get back home."
She didn't know why she was calling him Mister, but he seemed like a Mister. He had a really long name.

Still hanging over the void, the redhead swung her arm and, with a grunt, tossed Yuna to safety before climbing along the wall herself, ignoring the dislocated shoulder that throwing an entire person had caused. "I told you the floor was unstable."
The way forwards was, at this point, unclear: three, crumbling, moss-covered arches offered a choice of paths, but all of them were completely black, with nothing to separate one from the next; not that the martial artist could tell that. She did, however, cock her head as she tried to decide which was the least likely to collapse. Presumably, impatiently tapping her foot helped.

Roy looked at Dollstop with a raised eyebrow. He then chuckled, patting the boy on the shoulder once more. "Well..." He said, scratching his head. "They usually talk about what they have been doing since they last met, what kind of people they met... I think. Never really had a family reunion, you see."
He looked at Dollstop once more, and shook his head, smiling. He leaned back, crossing his arms and looked at the door. "I can't believe it's been that long. I was one of the first people you met, Dollstop. You were too young to remember it, but once I heard the news, I visited you and your father-- I mean, Master, he said, smirking, "When you two were staying on your... aunt, is it? Aunt Toph's home. He was very, very excited to have you in his life. And look at you now, eight years old. It's been a while since we last met, hasn't it?"

"I have absolutely no idea where we are!" Horatio said, "But I can getcha home! What're the coordinates? Also, you don't need to call me 'Mister'. 'Horatio Daiskander Chodenji Nibelungelied Rose' should do it!"
The small boy pulled out his father's ever-stolen GPS, and prepared to put in the coordinates.

"Hm... Perhaps if I check the floors with my staff..." Yuna said as she outreached her staff, tapping it on the floor. If they didn't collapse, she would go forward. If they did, however, she would test the next path, and then next path, and so forth until they find a good path to go on.

Round One - Roy and Dollstop Doll's face was suddenly bright red and he stared down at his feet, scuffing them against the ground nervously and stuttering.
"O-oh. S-so you're someone who knew me when I was really little then. U-um s-sorry. I th-thought that umm....that maybe umm...that you w-were...that j-just..I thought maybe you w-were my dad!"
He finally managed to say it, but a little louder than he'd meant to and immediately stopped to stare down at his feet, embarrassed again.
"umm...it's just that it seems like you're always trying to talk with Master about something and arguing with him, an' I know that I come from...well, somewhere different than 'gelo, and since Master's always talking about how I have to become a hero and you work for that big group of good guys I thought maybe..." the small boy trailed off again, too flustered to keep speaking.

"Oh!" For a moment, Kay's expression brightened, and she placed a finger on her chin in thought - then it fell slightly again. She turned to peek sheepishly at the boy.
"...What're co-or-din-ates, Horatio Daiskander Chodenji Nibelithingy?" she whispered.

Roy was about to tell him to not stutter so much when Dollstop revealed his thoughts. "Father?" Roy asked, raising an eyebrow and looking down at the boy. Wait, so the boy thought he was his father? Hadn't August told him where he came from? Dollstop kept stuttering on about how he always saw him arguing with August, but Roy was still thinking about what this meant. How would August reveal the fact to him? Or worst of all... would August ever reveal the fact to him?
".... do you want to join the Brotherhood, Dollstop? Roy asked, scratching one of his hands. He decided to not touch on the father subject- he'd talk about it with August later.

Baijiu listened intently to the tapping, then proclaimed that the left path was a dead end and the right unstable, which left only the center. Not realising that it was pitch black, the martial artist plunged ahead, fingers briefly touching Yuuna's shoulder as she passed and gesturing down the tunnel.

Yuna nodded and followed Baijiu down the tunnel. She noticed the pitch blackness and so she took out another sphere. She changed clothes to resemble that of a witch.
"Four great elements, heed my call!" She said as cast a fire on her staff to act as a torch, lighting the way.

"It was dark?" Baijiu asked, turning her head to look at the girl behind her. If Yuna was alert, she'd notice that the redhead's gaze wasn't directed at her precisely, just the right direction. Given what this indicated, it was a wonder that she even asked--though knowing the environment made it easier to predict what was coming next.

Round One - Roy and Dollstop
Dollstop suddenly looked up at Roy with wide, eyes shining dreamily. He was practically wriggling back and forth in excitement at Roy's words, his embarassment and shyness from before completely and suddenly obliterated and forgotten in the wake of the new possibility the Flame Alchemist had just so casually suggested.
"Y-you mean it!!? I could really join your organization and fight bad guys n' scary monsters and travel around in huge spaceships with all sorts of neat fighting toys with friends on adventures? A-and...and I'd get a real bed all the time? and maybe a uniform!?!! A boy's one!!!?"
Those last two seemed to interest him most out of all the other perks and possibilities involved.

"You don't know what coordinates are?" Horatio asked, "Umm... They're a set of numbers that tell computers and stuff where a place is in the multiverse. Or just a universe, if a group has in... Infer..."
Horatio paused, unsure of how to say the word. "Infectious, maybe?" he said, "Doesn't really matter, as long as you know the numbers I can get you home!"

Suddenly, a PFFFFFFFFFT sound came as Yuna saw a stream of fire heading her way. Naturally, she dodged it. If they went ahead, they would notice that there was a strange diamond that was constantly making this fire. Yuna then noticed Baijiu walking in a distance. She realized that Baijiu was blind, telling from her lack of observation that it was dark.
"Baijiu! Look out for the flames! They're heading in your direction!" She shouted to her.

"I can hear that," Baijiu said, casually standing and letting the flames wash over her. The result was that the martial artist was now on fire as she strode towards the crystal, scowling irritatedly and seizing the diamond before her, wrenching it from its setting. Hopefully that would quench the flame--if not, she'd just turn it around.

"Well, yes..." Roy said, genuinely surprised by the boy's answer. "But first you need to grow up. The battlefield is no place for a child... and if you joined us, you wouldn't be able to see your father-- Master. Plus, he would kill me. To have you by my side would be an honor... but I don't want to bring children into the battlefield."
He ruffled Dollstop's hair, smiling. "But Dollstop, let me just say one thing. Even if you don't come from the same place as Tangelo, August is still your father. He takes care of you and your brother, and he loves you." He picked up his beret and looked at the Brotherhood symbol on it. "Don't forget that, alright? I'll be here for you, and the doors will be open once you get older... but August, he's the one you should turn to."

The flames ceased as the jewel reached Baijiu's hand. Yuna got up and smiled. "I... I don't know how you could be so calm about being hurt all the time... the spears, the flames... To top that off, you're blind... It's like you have no fear of death..." Yuna said. She knew that she could somehow regenerate, but it was still shocking to Yuna how she was able to withstand this.

"I have lived through worse," Baijiu stated, offering the diamond to the girl behind her. What use did she have for a flame-shooting gemstone? "At most, this itches a little. Being blind changes nothing to me; I have never seen."
Apparently having exhausted her quota of words, the redhead remained still for a minute, waiting for the flames to die down before she pushed on ahead once more, alert for the signs of more traps. Spears, collapsing floors, darkness, and fire... lightning or ice next, then. Or trying to crush them.

The next room they entered held no trap. It was a rather spacious room, with tons of bones in the center. There were about twenty four coffins in the room. Yuna looked around. "Well... I don't think I see any traps..." Yuna said. But as soon as she stepped in, she heard a rattling. She then saw the bones come together to form what looked to be an army of living skeletons, fitted with a sword and shield.
"Oh poopie... Baijiu! Enemies at twelve 'o clock!" Yuna said as she prepared herself for the Skeletons as they advanced towards her to strike. Yuna whacked some of them with her staff, breaking their bones.
