Jasmine entered the dream world. She looked around. Was this it? The dream would be normal for Dominick Cobb, but Jasmine expected it to be a little more... stranger. She expected something with no logic. She knew she should have picked a sick person. Fever dreams always provided the more cooler worlds. She then noticed Chloe staring at the water. She goes to her.
"Hello." Jasmine said.
Cobb was fidgeting as he looked at the PASIV device.
"Relax. They're sleeping, right?" Leo asked Cobb.
"Yeah... But... I should have given her some sort of tutorial. Like... What to do and not to do... Stuff like that. I mean, it's not dangerous, but if she's planning on doing what I do, then it will be very dangerous." Cobb said.
"I know her. I know her from when she was just in high school. Jasmine only wants to see new worlds. She doesn't wish to be a thief. She just wishes for a way to enter new worlds." Leo said.
"Is that it then? She's an escapist?" Cobb asked.
"Call it what you wish. It is her desire in the end." Leo said.

Round Two: Knight and Aleph Somewhere...The mall was quiet. Surrounded by darkened store signs, abandoned sample booths and hanging balloons, the pale, white-coated figure stood in the moonlight filtering from the skylights several stories up, eyes closed peacefully. He was not asleep. He didn't need to sleep anymore, save for the rare times when weariness or wounds overtook him. No, this was a small break in the middle of things. A tiny gap in his Journey through the Multiverse, where he could rest and reflect on the past week's events... A stirring noise behind him caused the youth to stir and turn around. He looked young, about sixteen years of age - but the light in his eyes told of someone who had seen far more than any sixteen-year-old had the right to see and come out unscathed. Knight looked straight at the newcomer. "And who might you be?" he asked, giving a welcoming, gentle smile. There was no worry in his voice.

Earlier
"So you are paying me to kill this man because..you do dislike his style?"
...
"Tools aren't supposed to ask questions, just make it entertaining".
With a look of disgust at the dragon like being, Aleph exited the world of japanese super heroes. He was on another errand- it had been a month in the world of Lilim and it was time to pay the bills again.
He was almost surprised at the number of beings who were willing to pay up for such petty reasons...but then again that was human nature wasn't it?
He had been given a picture and a rough estimate of abilities- a person called Knight.
A martial art specialist who can is gifted in the manipulation of Ki...whatever that is....Another one of these Super Sentai things I guess, thats rather troublesome...
Now
Aleph warped into existance inside the mall, and there standing in the moonlight was the guy he was hired to take out. When the person turned and spoke......Aleph started to have second thoughts about killing the guy (He seemed rather nice, unlike most of the people he had killed); actually he had always had second thoughts about killing people but the targets usually managed to make a bad first impression.
Aleph sighed.
"Well...it doesn't really matter who I am...not anymore at least- You can simply think of me as the guy who got hired to wipe you from existance".

Samus, attentive though she was, had no expectation of being followed into a ruin like this; at least not in secret. It was far, far away from the Federation, and anyone following her to this distant location would have caught up when she stopped on previous planets. As a result, the armoured female simply turned into the cave she'd seen earlier and walked forwards into the darkness. Carefully.

"Hired, is it?" Knight raised an eyebrow, before turning around and raising his right hand, still looking remarkably unfazed. Clasped in between his fingers was a single playing card.
He could have said anything in reply... but instead, he chose a question.
"Do you really want to do this?"
Over the years, he had discovered he had quite a knack for grasping people's true emotions - odd enough, given what he was like a decade ago. But he saw a little of himself in this one. Tired. Doing things because he had to, and not because he wanted to.
He wondered how this would turn out. Interestingly, no doubt. Perhaps he could help him get through whatever problems he had and save both of them the trouble of a pointless fight.

Blight, after scanning, left her hiding spot. Whether or not this armored stranger was an enemy, Blight supposed that she would be seen if she wanted to continue.
And so, she approached, keeping as quiet as possible, until she was a few feet from Samus.
"What are you doing here?" Blight asked, deciding to keep thing straightforward.

The voice that answered Blight's question, though a bit muffled due to the helmet, was clearly female and only betrayed the tiniest bit of surprise. Samus was a professional; she wasn't going to panic that someone had got the drop on her, though she found it strange that there was anyone this far out from the more densely populated regions of Federation space.
"Looking for a module for my suit," she cautiously replied, "Did the Federation send you after me?"
She doubted it. They would never send just one person.

"No." Blight responded, "My organization prefers to stay much smaller then federations... And my mission involves something much older then you, I think."
Blight paused for a moment, before saying "Although, I must ask, why would your Federation send me after you?"

The armoured female weighed up her options. She could refrain from telling this elaborately dressed girl and look suspicious, which wouldn't do if they weren't at odds with each other, or she could tell the truth and seem too dangerous to be around. Neither of those seemed to be a good option, so the blonde opted for something that got the point across but not the scale, "I destroyed one of their facilities to prevent a parasite from consuming the galaxy."
There. No need to mention she'd blown up a planet, or that this wasn't the first time something so large had been destroyed.

"Ah, that kind of thing." Blight said. She would have to investigate this one when she got back to her ship, but for now, Blight saw no reason to be worried. Heroic types had a strangely large amount of spots on most wanted lists, after all.
"Perhaps we can be of mutual assistance?" Blight said, "We both seem to be looking for something, after all, and searches are generally easier with more than one searcher."

An offer to work with someone that wasn't likely to end in death and mutilation? It sounded attractive, especially with her current lack of armament compared to when her suit was fully upgraded. On the other hand, this girl didn't look like she could defend herself at all...
"We can work together if you aren't as defenceless as you seem," the tall female said cautiously, waiting for the response to her statement.

Blight looked at Samus for a moment, before looking at the area. After finding a good, somewhat blank spot, she walked around Samus.
"Watch out." Blight said.
In a rapid string of movements, Blight punched forward three times, sending three fireballs at her target on the wall. As soon as she had finished, she lifted her left leg and punched again with both arms, holding all three limbs up as each of them shot out a stream of fire.
After a few seconds, the fire streams died down, and Blight lowered her limbs. Turning to Samus she grinned. "I can do a lot more then that, but you get the picture, right?"

Aleph shrugged.
"Not really" he said in a slightly resignated tone.
"You see, I not too fond of the guy who hired me- big dragon guy with a bigger mouth- so how about this, You help me get the cash I need and I'll leave you alone".
An axe appeared in Aleph's right hand, it looked as if it was carved from the bones of some great beast, the axe head itself was golden with dull black edges.

"Acceptable," Samus said, thinking back and deciding that few things were immune to death by immolation save for Metroids. Freeze them, then shatter; only way to effectively deal with the blighters. Now certain that the elaborately dressed girl could actually hold her own in a fight, Samus lead the way to uncertain peril and certain treasure.

Knight smiled, and gestured around at the general darkness. "I think the ATM machines are all switched off at the moment," he said, still completely unbothered by the giant axe and the general idea that the boy in front of him had been hired to chop him into several quivering chunks with said giant axe.
It was interesting, he thought. Money. Why would he need so much money, and why did he think that the only way to get it was through being a hired killer?
He would find the answers. But not yet. In his own experience, things as important as reasons tended to be hidden under a vast layer of other things. Perhaps he would put him at ease first.
The white-coated youth looked straight at Aleph. "How much?" he asked.
With a flick, Knight sent the playing card in his fingers to his palm. As the plastic rectangle flashed past his hand, he closed his fist - then he opened it, revealing a neatly folded hundred-dollar bill.
"Consider this the first down payment," he said, and smiled again. Unfazed.
There was a reason to his fancy conjurer's tricks.

-"How much?"-
Aleph raised an eyebrow at Knight's little stunt of pulling a hundred dollar bill out of no where.
...
Then Aleph cracked into a genuine grin and waved his hand in a dismissing gesture.
"Heh, you know what? don't wory about it".
"However.....if you can keep on generating money like that then perhaps you could be of use after all."
Here Aleph pointed his axe at Knight with the same grim on his face and said :
"If you can give me a down payment of 1000 dollars then I'll be on my way and nobody needs to get hurt for the next month or so".

"My company did a background check on you, and you seemed to be a good candidate." Jasmine said. As she said it, any person that passed by the two in Claire's dream would give dirty looks to Jasmine for some reason.

"So, tell me," Blight began, "What sort of 'module' are you looking for? Defensive? Offensive? Scanning equipment?"

If Jasmine took the time to look around her, she would notice that the surrounding area was beginning to warp- Claire was too focused on Getting The Fuck Away to keep ''drawing" them.
If Jasmine kept pursing Claire, she would soon find the area warping to the point where it changed entirely, to, of all things, a beach.

Knight raised an eyebrow, before breaking into an equally amused smile. It seemed that diplomacy had won the day - coupled with a little bit of monetary encouragement, of course.
"I'm afraid I don't carry that much around with me," he said, flicking the bill towards Aleph. "I can only produce what's in my wallet, after all." He seemed genuinely pleased, and his eyes danced with hidden plans.
"Still, if you waited a while, I might be able to come up with something."

Aleph snatched the hundred dollar bill from the air, paused and tucked it into his robe.
There was a rather awkward silence to follow in which aleph grew slightly anxious before finally hefting up his axe and pointing it again at Knight.
"I must admit that I have never encountered one such as you and now..hmm, lets say that both rather perplexed and thankful".
Aleph twirled the huge axe like it had no wieght at all, brought it to the ground with a crash, sighed and smiled.
"Whatever, enough of the really formal language, I'm just going to ask- how about a little duel between us could-have-been enemies? I just want to know what I could have ended up facing".
Here the air began to positively grow colder, Knight could now see his breath mist before him.
"Well? how about it? "

Knight smiled, and raised his left hand in a simple, passive stance. "If that's the way you want it," he replied.
This seemed a much better outcome than the one he had predicted. While he happened to be completely happy with his current level of skill, seeing no need to push it further than his standard regimen of training... it might benefit the boy. Give him something to be happy about, as it were.
In Knight's own opinion, that was reason enough to do anything.
"Go on. You strike first."

"huh?"
Aleph raised an eyebrow.
"Aren't you going to transform into one of those absurdly skintight unitard things that you power ranger guys get?"
...
"I mean a duel like this wouldn't really be fun if we didn't show off the flashiest stuff we have right? its not like we are aiming to kill each other or something. I have a power up thingey I do everytime I fight so why don't we both just power up and make this duel alot more epic?"

As soon as Aleph's meaning became clear, Knight relaxed his stance, before smiling in a slightly amused way.
"I suppose I could. I should warn you, I'm not going to go easy.... so try not to break anything, will you?"
"I wouldn't call it a unitard, either."
His eyes focused, and at his side, his right hand flashed with white light. A single, resonating tone played, crystal-clear - then the Legend Brace burst into a blinding corona that lit up the mall for meters around them, casting shadows about everything in the vicinity. A floating, ethereal sigil illuminated itself into existence in front of him, an ornate circle of white with a single symbol in the middle.
A hawk, wings outstretched and beak frozen as if to strike, and a Greek letter. Alpha. The first.
Knight thrust his right hand into the center of the Seal, and it burst asunder. Leaping to life, the hawk flew out, its body all white light, arcing into the air before crying once and swooping down towards his back.
FIRST SEAL, AWAKENING, a deep voice intoned.
He was already aiming a lightning-swift punch at Aleph's chest, even as the light burned around him. Streaking up his arm like a pair of circling raptors, twin trails of white flame wove around the creases of his sleeve, tracing the elaborate wireframe outline of a suit of armor on his body. As he spun around and kicked at his opponent, all grace, the hawk shot into the back of his flying coat, melding into his clothing - then it exploded outwards in an inferno of white, one that would, at the very least send Aleph hurtling back a considerable way.
CONQUEST.
When his dazedness cleared, Aleph would see a completely different figure standing before him in the moonlight. A poised, collected figure, garbed in a lithe, white-silver suit of light armor. His mail was fashioned after a hawk, with an ornate, raptor-like breastplate and a winged helmet prominent among the various other angular stylings. A black cape hung purposefully behind him, silver lettering shining along the edges, and his visor hid his eyes from view, an 'X' with a vertical line through its center.
A statue, frozen in motion. In his right hand, he held a great carved bow of silver metal, ends tapering into sharpened edges. There was no bowstring.
The White Conqueror stirred, and fixed his target with a cool gaze.
"And the Lord shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the Lord God shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south."
"Advent. KnightFire... Conquest Form."

"Offensive," Samus replied, looking around as they went ahead. It was only a matter of time before some bizarrely vicious local fauna attacked them. Either the galaxy desperately wanted everyone dead, or animals really hated Samus. "Weak energy bombs, specifically."
