Masala Castle
John stepped off the Gaoh-Liner once again, Kun on his shoulders and bouncing with excitement at seeing her friends. John set Kun down as she began skipping towards the door and knocked.
"Hiiiii! I'm here for Kat's sleepover!"

Masala Castle
The door was opened by a purple-haired fighter with armoured legs and a negligee. For some utterly inscrutable reason, she also had a pillow clamped under one arm, making the whole effect rather bizarre. Was it a Fighter that had been roused from bed, or just one with weird tastes? In actuality, it was neither, just April's teasing Lancelot to get him to not do anything ELSE that was stupid as 'penance'.
He apparently didn't accept that time as a prinny had wiped the slate clean.
"'Kat'? The Lady Katherine may be found by heading up the stairs, then following the trail of meringue," Lancelot explained, internally wincing at the trail he'd been asked to lay. Not by the child, no, but by her mother. Though it was unclear whether the order had originated there or with one of the twins.

"Come on daddy, let's go find Kat!"
Kun took John's hand, pulling her father along as the two made their way through the castle towards Kat. Kun had even gotten her dad to bake them some cookies, but they couldn't have them until after dinner.
"We're gonna play with dolls an' watch fun movies an' hug a Taxsheep an'..."

There wasn't any sound. Jack was good at not making any sounds. She had been brought here by Mother, and... there was food. Lots of food. It was all over the ground, for some reason. Jack was used to eating things that had been thrown on the ground, but she knew that food now wasn't normally on the ground. So the trail of meringue confused her, but only slightly. But it was food, and, well... She didn't leave food lying there. She was always scared it would go away.
Jack had scooped the meringue up into her hands and licked a great deal of it up, and was now licking her hands clean of meringue. She had gotten some on her nose and cheeks, as well, and created a large gap in the meringue trail.
When she head footsteps, she flinched and immediately hid around the corner. She didn't know who it was and they might not be nice...

Kun continued skipping and smiling as John kept walking her along the meringue trail, knowing his daughter often got lost. Indeed, Kun didn't even seem to notice the hole in the trail as her smile grew ever wider.
"...An' Jack an' Kat an' everyone are gonna be there an' we're gonna have so much fun!"

Jack edged back into the darkest corner of the room, contracting her body until she effectively vanished into the shadows. However, the sight she saw was not some horrible threat, it was someone she knew. And her father.
Jack's eyes, which had grown very wide when she was startled, were rubbed a little as the white-haired girl leaned out of the darkness and slowly, shakily, raised one hand to attempt to wave. Then lowered it. Then raised it again. Jack was feeling so very nervous...
"H-h-hi..." said Jack, finally. Her voice was very quiet, and she had yet to realize that her face still had meringue on it.
