So a couple of people seemed to like the idea of JTTM, but instead of shards or trinkets, we pilot mechs. So, I'm gonna write up a plot, but for now, this is just to see who'd be interested.

Plot: Long ago, the Multiverse was created from the rebellion of the human race in their fight against those who tried to save the universe from Armageddon. They fought, not with swords or guns, but with mecha. Mecha whose weapons are entire galaxies and hot blood. But the weapon that started it all was the Drill. The Drill became a symbol for years to come, becoming as holy as the Cross. The person who led the attack on their oppressors, however, didn’t wish to be revered as an almighty god, preferring the humble life of a digger who drills the path for others to take. He soon took his leave, never to be seen again. However, many people began to follow in his footsteps and drilled paths for others to take as well. It took them a while to discover interdimensional travel, but they were able to discover many worlds. A being similar to that of their own oppressors, however, constantly attacked these worlds: The Heartless. Not letting this stand for a moment, those who followed The Digger’s words lent to the worlds their own mechas and fought against the Heartless, destroying them… However, a smidgeon remained. A small vessel that would grow by feeding on the despair of others. But… it needed a way to be fed. A small alien race came across the vessel, and it offered them a way to save the multiverse from an untimely end, but he would require despair from the hearts of those who would succumb easily to them. And so began a vicious cycle of despair that lasted for what seemed to be forever… until a wish was made. Then… then the despair was cut off. By that point, however, they were all too late. The vessel now had enough power to launch so many attacks that the multiverse would be destroyed twice over. And so he sent his monsters, the Unversed, to attack the multiverse. However, the Unversed weren’t so lucky. By the time the Vessel was able to create his children, human created their own mechas, but to fight in petty wars. Gods also lent their strength and transformed themselves into living robots for humanity to pilot. The initial wave of Unversed were wiped out, though some were kept as test subjects for a shady organization, in hopes that they can create a mecha to end all mechas. The year in our world is 2013. By now, many worlds have become colonies by the Robotics Achievement Team: the Colonist Legion Institute of Freedom Fighting Engineers, or RATCLIFFE for short. By this time, the stories of the Digger and his war were nothing but fairy tales. However, there exists a team of people who still believe in his stories. Though there also exists a group of people who wish to rebel against RATCLIFFE: The ABC Society. Their battles against RATCLIFFE have been powerful enough to wake the Gods. Several of them volunteered to become robots, while others arranged things for robots to land on a small world that was unrelated to the war. A world that one of the Gods, Tabris, calls the World of the Lilim: Our World. And so, the fight for the future begins…
Rules/Notes/What Have You: - OCs, SIs, and Crossover Characters are allowed.
- Try not to be TOO raunchy
- No arguments over whose mech can beat whose
- There’s about five or so factions in this RPG, but some won’t reveal themselves for quite some time. That and for SIs, it would make more sense if they went with none in the beginning and then joined up after the first arc or so, when they leave Lilim.
- I’m not sure if there should be a power scale, so for now, the limit is pretty much no powers that have “Your robot is immortal” and “It can blow up the entire multiverse by sneezing or kill people in one hit (or via eye contact, utter a phrase, or all of the above)”. Same goes for humans.
- Don't worry about Scale. It's pretty messed up in Transformers and it'd be a nightmare to discuss scale in the RPG. Knightmare Frames are to Gundams what fairies are to us, and they're specks compared to Gurren Lagann's later transformations. I might add something to the bio about size, but not right now.

- Personality: Kyousuke is that smug rebel you’d see in the sci-fi movies. The ones who are total flirts and almost has a snark for every comment. In battle, he enjoys the fighting. Not to the point of total blood lust like say… Mari, but more like Goku, where he has fun in the fighting.
- Backstory: It’s your basic orphan story where Kyousuke is was made an orphan by his father after one drink too many led him to murder his entire family in a single night. He was taught to lie, cheat, and steal his way to happiness. His life goal was to find Paradise in his state of condition, so that he can be at peace. However, on the day he would have been convicted for a stolen loaf of bread, Byakko made his presence known to him.
- Name: Makoto Kaname

- Age: 19
- Appearance: “This is it, the time has arrived. I give you my solemn word: I'll show you true happiness.”

- Appearance: Bam
- Faction: The ABC Society
- World of Origin: A variant of the World of Puella Magi Madoka Magica
- Personality: Makoto is a psychopath. Pure and simple. The only thing he enjoys in battle is his own death, and in fact views death as a euphoric thing and would be more than happy to grant death to other people if they so wished.
- Backstory: In a variant, Madoka was a boy, while her friend Homura made a contract before her. Instead of Walpurgis Night, it was a massive battle to capture the Witch and turn her into a mech by a shadowy organization that killed Homura and countless others. Makoto was the only survivor from his class, let’s put. To make matters worse, Makoto had Homura die in his arms, noticing she went out with a smile. What he didn’t know was that Homura harboured feelings for him and died knowing she saved his life. From what he saw, she was better in death than in life. This drove him to despair and think that death is the only way to happiness. Before he could kill himself though, the ABC Society arrived, and told him that the attacks were caused by RATCLIFFE. They then offered him a spot to join the rebellion.

- Name: Moerin
- Gender: Female
- Age: 25
- Appearance: This, at about 6'1".
- Abilities: For the purposes of this RP, Moerin is now a Newtype.
- Mecha of Choice: GPB-X80 Beginning Gundam

- Faction: Rolling with Team Dai-Gurren!
- World of Origin: World of Lilim
- Personality: Hammy, silly and something of a perv, with a notable love of boyish girls and girlish boys. Refuses to act her age most of the time, but when she does it's usually a bad sign. She has a strong sense of justice, and is quick to jump to the defence of anyone she feels has been wronged, but other than that she's kinda lazy. She's also kind of a nerd, and enjoys cooking, reading and random bouts of philosophy. Unfortunately, she also suffers from an inferiority complex and tends to put everyone else before herself, and has a habit of apologising far too much when she believes she has done something wrong.
- Backstory: There's nothing much to say, really. Just a boring, ordinary life leading to a boring, ordinary existence. She's currently directionless and lost without any real purpose in life, but that doesn't stop her from trying to find one.

Trying again: - Name: Jonathan
- Gender: Male
- Age: 20
- Appearance: Short and slight, to the point of possibly even looking like a girl from behind. Short, scruffy brown hair and sad looking brown eyes.
- Abilities:
- Mecha of Choice: RX-78GP01 Gundam "Zephyranthes"
- Faction: None yet.
- World of Origin: World of Lilim
- Personality: In a word: Shy and introverted, at least until you can break the shell; if you can manage to do that, then you're dealing with an individual who's probably slightly too hyperactive for their own good or anyone else's.
- Backstory: Jon's reclusive and introverted nature can be traced back to being abused by members of his peer group at school. As a result, he's picked up a certain distrust of people who honestly want to befriend or just help him, in case they turn around and backstab him as well. As a result he turned to the Internet for an escape once he finished school, although getting out of the house and off to college helped immensely in making him a bit more of an open and level human being. As for the rest... well, that's what we're here to find out, isn't it?
Edited because I screwed up the fact-checking.

- Name: Hasegawa Chie
- Gender: Female
- Age: 10
- Appearance: "Go away. I'm drawing."
- Abilities: The astonishing abilities of a small ten-year-old girl. Also she's a really good artist.
- Mecha of Choice: The MX-000, or "Mimi-chan".
- Show: OG
- Origin: Real Robot
- Powers: Capable of flight and ground motion, adjusting the feet for both. Extremely heavily armed, featuring large missiles, point-laser systems, and smaller missile clusters.
- Appearance: In a word, excessive.
- Faction: The Dai-Gurren Brigade
- World of Origin: World of some original setting wtith mecha schools!
- Personality: Chie has a personality that greatly contrasts her small, childish body. She has a tendency to be deeply sarcastic towards others if she decides they deserve to be treated with sarcasm, and she often quietly teases others. She enjoys drawing, and has a deep interest in anime, manga, and video games, which she pursues whenever she is able to. Chie often draws or writes about these things, though her writing is significantly more childish then her art. In spite of her thick layer of sarcasm, she does still have the personality of a child and is surprisingly easily frightened. Chie also enjoys cosplay, to the point of having been reprimanded for coming to school in cosplay before.
- Backstory: A child prodigy from a rich family, Chie entered the Sakamoto School for Mecha Pilots much earlier then most, and excelled in her training to the point of being capable of piloting a mecha by the time she was ten. And then multiversal stuff happened and she ended up with the Dai-Gurren Brigade.

I'm asking for clarity since it's not a robot (despite the game title), but would a Meganite be acceptable?
God why did I play Robot Alchemic Drive so much?
I like robots, who doesn't? So if I could ever decide on a bot (as fanboy powered as certain drill wielding robots are, for actual gameplay my tastes veer towards bots and pilots that are on par with their peers ala Armored Core and Virtua On), I'd so want in on this.
EDIT: Hmm, I really should have taken a close look at the dates on these posts <.<

I would guess so. So long as it's technically a giant robot. Heck, in its Japanese counterpart, the Megazord was a God, and yet it still can pass as a giant robot.
And the Meganite looks robotic enough to pass for one in the RPG.
