I doubt that. N.A.V.I. can produce non-living objects because, you know, they're easy to make.
Living, breathing objects take a lot of time, energy, and sacrifice in order to make it work. Basically, N.A.V.I. has to exert a lot of her power into making the organs actually fleshy as opposed to artificial.
Though thinking about it, N.A.V.I. can just plop a shard into a husk of an animal and hope the Shard takes over the animal, but the problem is that now that husk is possessed by whoever is in the shard, and they have all the powers within that shard.
So yeah, N.A.V.I. could do it, but it's a waste of her effort.
