I still regard the whole ascending to a higher plane of existence thing as a bad idea. Too ill-defined a concept and it requires that there IS a higher plane of existence on the multiversal scale. ._.

... or he could look for shields that won't involve dragging in dozens of characters that would either be ignored, hog the spotlight, or unceremoniously get killed off. Or just not GET shields because that's going a bit far with the ability to regenerate from anything. >_>

Deady, does it HAVE to be only at S2? Why not make it sooner, perhaps during the end of S1 (and don't give me anything about it ruining the finale: it will distract just a couple characters and it would give more happy ends) D-oh. |

Also, if she'll be coming back, I see no reason for there to be any problem with her ascending. I had a problem with it before because I tend to consider such things cheap forms of getting put on a bus.

Let her spend some time with the Hades Party having fun (or at least a close approximation of fun), then once they actually move out have one of the villains confront her and do the soul ripping thing. It works for you, letting you do this whole plan, and it works for everyone else, giving them an even more personal reason to take on the villains.
