Even if the three of us are unbanned, Hades Party is effectively gutted. And... I don't want to lose everything. As for getting new people... just ask people.
Not sure why anyone would be UNABLE to join, I managed it on my phone.

My opinion:
Keep RPs both here and there. Keep them sharing continuity. Individual bits of plot, like worlds, would be separate, they may even have their own villains and stuff.
If a player is willing and capable of registering on both sites, their characters are free to jump between the two lines.
Yes it is to some degree encapsulating like was going on with Hades Party. We should try and make it the least degree possible.

I think it would be fine if it's completely clear that there is a second section to the rp. And of course it won't be just random transferring: the groups would be geographically separate in the game, meaning that to get a char over to another, the char would have to get on some transport in the game

Which cuts people off from half the roleplay and most likely the climax. I loathe COMPROMISES like this, which actually don't WORK.
... So, GCR apparently cannot use text boxes and basic buttons without breaking them. Wonderful. Absolutely fucking wonderful. It's identical to TvTropes at the most important fucking level AND HE STILL FUCKING BREAKS IT.

There are lot of things that may or may not work.
I think that compromise can work while invitation system won't.

Umm, Ad, look at the number of people (aside from GCR, who will almost certainly be able to make this work if he tries--it might not even be the same damn forum he has trouble with) in this. You're saying that asking anyone who seems interested to join when there's no pressing need for members will never work?

Going to keep this short n' simple: we either move here or stay there. No splitting. Addy, I know you have some ideas on how to make a split RP work, but my suggestion is to either stay or move.
But if we move, we need to make sure of two things:
1. We need to make sure the players banned in TVT will play here;
2. And that all current players on TVT will play here.
