It has come to my attention that this Monday is no ordinary Monday. This Monday will be Malware Monday. For those not in the know, Malware Monday is a day when the government will cut off internet to those infected with a certain kind of Malware. This Malware would allow the DNS to be changed around so you would visit ads and other malicious material. The FBI nabbed the hackers responsible, but discover that if they took immediate action, that they would cut off the internet to over a thousand people. So they made a little safety net to allow people to still go on the internet despite the DNS changer malware. However, money has become a factor, and so the Government decided to simply cut off the internet to those still infected with the virus. This is obviously bad for an internet-based RPG like this, so I ask you all to check your DNS on here. If you see green, you are good. If not... well, I suggest you look here and see what you can do to get rid of the malware. I am green, and have been for a long time it seems, so I'm good, though I don't know if using a virus scanner would fix the problem. I wish you all the best.

And this is the point where we find out that A. This affects people outside the US even though the government has no authority to do that, and B. Whatever this is has probably snuck past both my daily virus and spyware scans and the occasional MalwareBites scan.
And GCR? The whole "Apple devices can't get viruses" thing has been bullcrap for some time.

No, I'm just being paranoid. I couldn't run the check since I was posting from my phone, but it just came up green.

Just to insert a bit more paranoia:
So we could all be getting false positives.

Eh, just wait and see and stop panicking. Run antimalware stuff and you should be fine, since it's kinda clear what to look for. >.>

Yeah... Also, I think running it through multiple foreign DNS checkers helps. I don't know how, but... yeah.

If you are reading this, then you are able to connect to the internet fine. I am sorry for overreacting to this, but at least this thread served it's purpose, and for that, it's closed.
