OK my problem is deciding a self-insert and picking a power.
When I'm in a bad mood I become an even shitter writer than usual...considering I'm always in a bad mood now...ugh I'll come up with some character just...give me a bit.

D'aww, the loli's really excited about this.
Looking forward to having Rachel fangirl over the aesties, the Nadesico and Lagann I mean...turn any and all giant robots that aren't in use into a megazord...lemme try that again...I'm looking forward to playing her, ehe.

OK I got to ask one thing.
Am I allowed to like radically adjust my powerset for this rebooted version of the universe? I will keep the Dooku powers in the main game but...am I allowed to have a different set of powers for this game?

@fusion: As the others have said, yep. As for me, the only things I've got planned (and when I say planned I mean it in the loosest of senses) are as follows: 1. Unlock Level 3 of Emblem Arts at some point (though considering my character's state they'll probably end up being Too Awesome To Use/Awesome but Impractical) and/or Phantom implants (how this will occur is a mystery). 2. Luck willing, commanding the Nadesico. AGENTS... ARRRREEEE... GOOOOOO! style catchphrase optional. /makes reference nobody will probably get 3. Have my character actually be useful and/or interesting this time round and attempt not to suck so hard. Also, I'm thinking of bringing in HK-47 (or HK-51) for Dai-Shocker. Bad idea or worst idea? |

Um, feel like I should explain something...
Regardless of how physically complicated something is, if it's technology-based Ryougi will be able to easily recognize the lines and points on it because it's something humans are capable of creating without... um... magic... stuff. Or not-magic stuff, a few things are a little confusing. Um, basically, an energy shield produced by technology would be easy for her to "kill", while a shield produced by magic or other means would require her to decipher it first.
Um, not sure why felt that needed posting, but, um, I felt like it did, so, um, yeah.

...That's probably not a good thing, hm...then again, Rachel's the one that actually has my personality...and is going to be interacting with the characters I actually know...and is going to be in the environment that I know about...and gets the awesome giant robot...huh...why am I playing two characters again?

That would work. Can't really think of any alternative titles...
Although I'm now tempted to pull something similar to the Eagle Wing mini-campaign in ArmA II and have the first letter of each word (SR for example) spell out a different thing depending on what's happening (with the original it was Early Warning, Electronic Warfare, and End of the World).
That... will make more sense if you've ever seen a playthrough of Eagle Wing.
Also, even though Flanker doesn't even have any powers from the Megaman franchise, I kind of want to make a nod to the Ruby Spears cartoon or the Megas at some point... even if I have no idea what I'd make a nod toward.
