Anno sat up, and yawned, before rubbing her eyes. She blinked a few times, then reached to the desk beside her bed to take her glasses. Putting them on, she clambered out of bed and adjusted her baggy pyjamas. She wasn't actually aware of what day it was today, she had yet to completely wake up and therefore wasn't thinking clearly.

As such, she hadn't actually remembered that today was her birthday, yet.

[Rain]

In the kitchen, Rain HAD realised that and was waiting for a cake to bake. Having not gotten around to cancelling her spell yet, that meant a loli with hair as long as she was tall, dressed in her older self's t-shirt, was sitting at the table and waiting for the coffee in front of her to cool. At least she'd managed to wrap the present that she'd bought in time...

Blearily, Anno made her way out of the bedroom and towards the kitchen. She yawned again as she went, her mind still not fully having assembled itself. Something smelled really good, though... and she wanted breakfast, that was for certain. Entering the kitchen, the first thing Anno saw was Rain. Rain in her child form, specifically. For a moment, Anno's still-tired mind failed to process any reason behind that, before finally realizing that Rain must have not been up much loner than she had... or at least that was what she had assumed.

The first thing that came to mind was to hug Rain. Which Anno proceeded to do, from behind.

"Good morning."

[Rain]

"Eep!" was Rain's initial response, shrinking down into the wooden chair until she realised who it was that had crept up on her like that and leaning her head back onto Anno's chest, "Good morning! Umm... I'm waiting for your cake to finish baking, but you can open the present whilst you wait!"

The present was actually three presents: one because Rain wanted to embarrass her, one because it was adorable, and one because it actually seemed like a pretty good thing to be giving. Dildo, teddy bear, and a ruby-studded ring gained from April that conferred total immunity to all poisons.

Anno blinked, before turning towards the present. A present...? Wait... it was her birthday! That's right, she'd been so bleary she just... hadn't remembered. Hadn't remembered her own birthday... well, that was weird. But Rain was baking her a cake... and she had gotten presents for her... it was... Anno smiled, and hugged Rain tighter. "Thank you, Rain, I... I-I actually forgot my own birthday, eh-heh, but, um... thanks."

She kissed Rain on the top of her head, then turned to walk over to her present. Anno was pretty eager to see what Rain had gotten her, she had to admit...

Tearing open the packaging, her eyes immediately widened at what she saw. Her face, no, her entire body seemed to go bright red in an instant. That was... there were other things, but that...

"Th-th-th-th-th-that... R-R-R-R-Rain... th-th-there's... y-y-you... g-g-g-gave m-m-m-me..."

[Rain]

"It seemed necessary," Rain replied, deadpan as she got up and shuffled over to Anno, hugging her from behind and using the currently-larger girl's back as a pillow, "But look at the other non-pervy stuff! The pervy stuff isn't used constantly, and they can be!"

"N-n-necessary?" Anno asked, glancing over her shoulder at Rain. She swallowed, hard, and set the... object aside, as far as she could to get it out of her line of sight. Her girlfriend was sweet and affectionate, of course, but sometimes... there would just be embarrassing things like that... Refocusing her mind on the other presents, Anno picked up the next one. It was soft and furry, and bear-shaped.

And huggable. And cute. The teddy bear was a very nice one, to say the least. Anno smiled at it, then glanced back towards Rain again.

"Thanks, Rain... it's... nice and fluffy, eh-heh," she said, hugging the teddy bear as she spoke.

[Rain]

"Oh, and the ring protects you from all poisons," Rain said, cheerfully stroking the soft pyjamas. So soft. So very, very soft... though stroking them wasn't the best idea. But she did it with pillows and soft toys and blankets and stuff, too: if it was smooth and soft, it got stroked. She still hadn't kicked the habit.

"... All poisons?" Anno blinked, picking the ring up and placing the teddy bear aside. Her gifts had gone from incredibly embarrassing to incredibly adorable to incredibly useful... She smiled, slipping the ring on her finger. "Thanks again, Rain, it's just the morning and already my birthday is great. Um, aside from... um... th-the embarrassing part, eh-heh..."

She blinked, abruptly coming to the realization that her girlfriend was stroking her pyjamas.

"... Are you petting my pyjamas again, Rain?" she asked. This wasn't the first time.

[Rain]

"Umm..." the white-haired girl said, stopping her hands, "I'd better check the cake!"

Abruptly, the temporary child turned away to hide her blushing and looked in the oven, glaring at the cake cooking at the back. She hadn't gone for anything fancy, just Victoria Sponge because she had the jam and cream on hand, but she hoped it would be okay. Oven gloves were grabbed and the cake was carefully removed.

Anno restrained a giggle. Rain could get embarrassed more easily in her child form...

The cake looked pretty simple, but Anno didn't mind. She didn't really need anything special for a cake on her birthday, just... having a cake was enough, really. That, and it looked pretty tasty anyway.

"Do you need any help?"

[Rain]

"Umm... not really, I'm mostly done, I just need to wait for the cake to cool," Rain replied, putting the two halves on top of the counter and turning the oven off before turning back to Anno. Hmm... maybe she ought to return to adult form and get properly dressed rather than being a loli running around in a t-shirt.

"Eh-heh, you did so much before I even woke up... thanks again," Anno said, smiling at Rain. This was just... so nice to wake up to on her birthday. Save the one embarrassing part. "I'm already having a pretty happy birthday."

[Rain]

Not thinking too much about what she was doing, Rain hopped and pulled Anno down to her fight for a second to give her a brief kiss as the fourth present. "Umm... I'm going to get dressed and stuff then go for a walk, it's kind of hot in here. Do you want to come with me?"

"Wah!"

Anno was a bit surprised when she was pulled down for the kiss... but that was fine, she didn't mind at all, really. She straightened, and when Rain explained her next courses of action, she nodded. "Of course I'd like to come with you, Rain."

[Rain]

A few minutes later, Rain was properly dressed and had grabbed the sword and haori, firmly placing the mini-RP as set after she had learned Tsubame Gaeshi. Unsurprisingly, she had no glasses--why not fix your eyesight if you could and there was a lot of fighting. "Ready to go?"

Or was she still in her pyjamas?

Anno blushed, she hadn't even gotten dressed yet. "Um, hold on, I need to take a shower and, um, get dressed, and everything."

She hurried to the shower so she could take one quickly, and get changed.

Rain twiddled her thumbs.

Soon enough, Anno returned. She was just wearing a fairly simple blue shirt and black skirt, with her hair up in her usual ponytail. She smiled at Rain, and stretched.

"I'm ready."

[Rain]

With that, Rain opened the door and looked around. Having been part of the design committee for the world, so far as geography went, she'd cheerfully decided to push for an evergreen deciduous forest parked by the ocean because, in her words, 'they both look nice, let's combine them'. It wasn't like the world had a shortage of space for such things and it wasn't exactly hard to get around quickly.

Anno always liked the surroundings of this world, at least. She followed Rain out the door. It was a nice place, that was for certain. Evergreen forest by an ocean? It was certainly very pretty to look at, that was basically inarguable. A nice place for a walk, certainly.

[Mahou Moerin]

"...Heh..."

"...Eheheh..."

They'd left just as she was approaching their door, but she had hid as soon as she saw it opening. She wanted this to be a surprise, after all, and if they saw her before she had a chance to surprise them that would probably ruin it all. So, after they began walking off, she stalked after them for a bit, using her catlike agility to tread silently behind them, until she was sure they'd finally let their guard down...

"...Surprise!"

Clamping her hands over Anno's eyes from behind was none other than the supposed ruler of this world, and possibly the most powerful being in it, the legendary Super Pervert Meowrin!

...Really living up to the "Pervert" part of her title, too. Because... She missed Anno's eyes. Whether by accident or on purpose, she aimed too low, and was now currently fondling Anno's chest from behind.

Anno's eyes, uncovered as they were, widened. Her face flushed almost immediately when she felt Moe's hands on her chest, and she was seemingly frozen for a moment in shock and embarrassment. She hadn't even heard Moe coming, and now her chest was... Moe was... this was just so... out of no where, and embarrassing, and...

Shutting her eyes tightly and going even redder, Anno let out an incoherent cry of shock and embarrassment. She meant to cry 'Moe' but it didn't quite come out like that.

[Rain]

"Stop manhandling my girlfriend!" Rain objected, attempting to drag Moe off of Anno and prevent the random molesting, "That's my job!"

Tact: Rain had none. It didn't seem to cause her that many problems, though, so maybe it wasn't such a bad thing in the long run?

[Mahou Moerin]

"Heheheh~ But she's so cute I can't help it~" The giggling catgirl gave Anno's chest one last squeeze, before letting go and backing off before Rain stabbed her. "Ahem... Happy birthday, Anno~!"

With her now-trademark catsmile plastered across her face, Meowrin handed her old friend a... Stack of swimsuit magazines, tied up in a ribbon and baring a tag stating "To my pervy kouhai~". "Hope you like them~!"

Of course, that wasn't her real present, but she just had to tease Anno. She was so adorable when she was flustered, after all~

Anno, who was by this point so incredibly red that she was practically glowing, trembled weakly as she took the magazines and stared at the tag. It said... pervy... kouhai... Anno trembled more, managing to somehow go even redder than she had previously. Was today just to go right to embarrassing her now?

"I-I-I-I-I'm n-n-n-not p-pervyyyyy..."

She shut her eyes tightly.

[Rain]

"You react to teasing too much..." Rain said, poking Anno squarely in the forehead... and then deciding to tickle her because, hey, it worked, right? And it was a way to get her to stop being so embarrassed about everything and that, as far as she was concerned, was good enough.

Anno, not prepared for the tickling, dropped the magazines and toppled over onto her back, laughing very hard. She was extremely ticklish, to the point where she couldn't manage anything but laughter at the moment.
